Use the same gun as you, do alot of realllllly bad condition tubs and make them look beautiful. Guy hired me on without experience and trained me right, but for some reason I'm a natural with the gun, even regrouting and respraying tile surrounds are going really well for me. I honestly don't think think I could have done my first couple weeks without these videos though to be honest. You are the person that actually encouraged me to give it a try and I have not regretted it!

Non abrasive cleaners Bleaches are ok but not recommended for regular use as they will dull out the finish over time. Liquid soap cleaners like Lysol tub and tile, 409 Spray, Soft Scrub with lemon, ZEP tub and tile cleaner.
I have a house to flip in Virginia. Need a reglaze on a tub but can’t find anyone around the area. How much you charge to drive to Harrisonburg and reglaze a tub?
It will definitely help clean it but I would only use it on grout if you are etching the tile as well. Then you still need to rinse the acid very well and scrub clean after with scotch bright pad or sand paper.

What is extra strong etch and what does it do? What did you pour on the etch to remove it? What did you use to get it all white again? Enamel paint? Acrylic paint?

Etch deglosses and roughs uo the surface for adhesion Poured cold water on the etch to remove it I sprayed Resurface solutions Bathyub Reglazing coating. Shown in another video on spraying bathtubs here on my channel
Depends on what you are doing! If you do the entire tub I would use the quart and use a spray gun. If you are touching up an area only then the can is fine!

the only part i wanted to see is the part he skipped passed lol. i guess its a paint thats used seeing as he had to sand the tub so the paint can stick. i never knew what 'glazing' meant. i thought it was a high pressure clean that brought the condition of the tile and/or tub back to its roots but i guess its just a paint job. i wonder how long that paint sticks/stays before peoples nails start to scratch it all.
I just got this done last week. Waited till yesterday to finally use it and it’s already scratched and the paint is peeling. Sure it looks pretty at first but it didn’t even last a day.

I own both an random orbital sander and a cornet cat sander (finish sander), would it be beneficial to use one of my sanders? or combination of both (first pass random orbital sander and follow it with the finish sander)?? Why would you paint over mold? Why not kill it first? My bathtub was re-glazed and the corners just cracked and it’s all this black mold underneath… Can’t even clean it because it’s behind paint
Main factors: Customer Care and Workmanship. You can have amazing workmanship but lack of customer care. You can also have amazing customer care but poor workmanship. So the longevity of the tub with both quality workmanship and customer care you can see last 5 years plus.

@Emanuel Corona I use napco gorilla grip which is a clear liquid wipe on primer and bonding agent. Works loke a charm.

It deglosses and roughs up the surface so your top coat has more to grip to (adhesion) I use Napco Extra Strong Acid Etch

So I actually have a cover over my tile and tub. Definitely a cast iron tub. What do you guys do if say mold was found or damage?
With out the drain and the caulk wouldn’t the solution just drip down the side?
Nope not at all! I wait in between coats for the material to tack up and then apply another. No drips or runs.
If I was to glaze over tile how do you patch drill holes left from shower frames?

After you sanded, it was dark and orangy. How did it turn white all of a sudden? You never really showed how you reglazed it.

No not at all. I would call them back for a buff and polish or slight wet sanding of the surface.
