- Props to ARRMA again for another new ultra fun platform!!!! Here's a mix of footage from my first dirt test. Both the stock wheels and Badlands 3.8's work great on the 4s. Will likely experiment with the gearing here soon. Definitely more planted than the lighter 3s rigs and surprisingly fast bone stock. Had swapped for a single EC5 connector and Tactic TTX300 radio. Shout out to Voltage Hobbies, M2C Racing, and Fast Track Hobbies in Rocklin, CA.

Just insane man, love every minute of your vids. A true testimony to what these things actually can do in the right hands. The weight savings really helps on the 4 s rigs in my opinion. May be a better basher than the 6 s. Only time will tell.

Nice Rip! The slipper on my 4s Outcast lasted two speed passes and it came loose enough that the truck wouldn't move in grass...Lol! I tightened all the way up and backed it out 1/4-1/2 turn out and it absolutely rips. The Kraton looks Awesome also. Nice video and truck!

I love to go back and watch again to learn from the master! Sometimes I wonder, when a BMX Track sees you pull up does it want to run and hide from the abuse it's about to take at you and Arrmas hands? I'm excited because we now have a real track here. It was built for the Traxxas boys but I go over and put the fear in them with the real power from Arrma! It's nice to finally have a outdoor place that's big enough to run our RC's in, just sucks that it took so long. Of course here in the Eastern Plains we have one minor problem, WINTER! It could go so I'd be totally good with that so we'll see how things hold up this first year. WE lost our indoor track in the process.
The only truly good experience I have had with Minokawas was I had a young bloke watching my kraton ask me whether the tyres were full of air, and at that very moment one blew apart and spat the foam out. I think that answered his question. Thanks for showing us the badlands on this guy Rich 👍

It's hard to believe how fast that thing is! It's funny about the slipper, until the last section I was going to ask you if you ever found the slipper kicking in when you didn't want? These 4S rigs were definitely built with you in mind, but mine didn't fair so well. Broken rear a-arm from a rearward landing and now I have to wait for parts. I like everything else about the truck though, so once I get it fixed I'll be back out there to see if it was just bad luck or if there's actually something for ARRMA to look at a bit closer.

Nice! I hear you, I used to head out to Folsom Lake a lot when the water was low. There were a ton of awesome spots for bashing. Finding jumps was always an issue though. Richards Blvd was about it. Out here there’s some good spots I’ve found but we’re coming into the hot months so daytime bashes are fading out!

Nice bash Rich, I think alot of not breaking parts have to do with skill too, i mean you've been doing this so long that you've developed skills to even avoid breakages and i think that's what people need realize haha! So you've had this beautiful Beast for a while, it's looked great on your runs with it. I have a couple questions for you now Rich. 1. Have the Control or A arms held up or have you replaced them with RPM or another 3rd part part supplier? 2. Have the Shocks started to leak on you? You're a pretty hard Basher so these take a good beating when you're out. So let me know. 3. If you replaced the socks what did you get for it Plastic or Metal? Good job, I like rewatching your videos, it's amazing what you can learn from the best. have a good one. You answered my last question on whether or not you switched out the radio. I have the Tactic coming from Florida thes week. I got super lucky a Guy saw my post to someone who didn't answer on the Arrma Forums and said he had one for 30.00 shipped. I jumped my other Arrmas are Tactic so I wanted the same and honestly that Spectum just Stinks bad. As my kids us to say Awesome Sauce! Don't know why, they just did.

I just bought my first arrma kraton 4s, I have done a lot of nitro trucks and buggies. I'm a big fan of redcat so I took a shot with the kraton 4s. So far this thing flies. I'm trying to get a speed test on it. I can't keep the front down, it just floats up any suggestions on how to keep it down?

Thanks Cleon😊!!!! The chassis is actually quite durable, especially with the new telescopic tower bracing 💪. The key thing to remember is these rigs are about weight savings and modular design that's user friendly. The chassis's themselves are super cheap off eBay or Jenny's RC should you every need to replace one. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Everyone loves the 4s meanwhile im waiting for a 8s-12s 1/5 basher from arrma. I can't be the only one that wants to go bigger. Yes yes breaking stuff because of weight. Just build the damn thing so i can buy it and spend many weekends putting it back together.

This is awesome! Think you just made up my mind on buying one of these, been researching for a week and now I want it! What ball bearings did you put in the slipper housing?? Is it a standard arrma part #? I want to tighten mine up and make that adjustment as soon as I get it.
Thanks Justin 👊!!!! I ended up using DSM OFF-ROAD bearings in my slipper housing. Avid and Jim's Bearings are popular kits also. Traxxas 5119 is the right size rubber sealed bearing and can be found at any LHS. ARRMA doesn't offer rubber sealed bearings that I'm aware of. Great truck 😍. I've come to love mine. 🍻😎💪👊👊
