- Converted my V2 into a 2.5 and upgraded the electronics to a castle Mamba Monster X 6s ESC and a 1515 2200 KV motor. Along with M2C Racing CRCU upgrades it's all in the video. What a tough little Truck when I ran this truck before on 6S it had the slipper now with the center diff I think was just way too much load on those plastic CVDS definitely going to rebuild the truck tone it down a little bit and try it again, but I was very impressed that it cleared the gap in 2 Wheel Dr. that was the best part of the run. Thanks bro yeah, that truck is really good with that power system. I just wasn’t thinking when I geared it I geared it for 4s but ran it on 6s which I should’ve never done. I need to go down about three teeth at least and see what she does that Center diff tighten the hell out of everything there’s no more slip. I think that’s why I got away with it in the past because I was running the slipper

Definitely a great session just need to go in and tune it up a little better for that kind of power that M2c V2 brace is definitely holding strong multiple nose bombs and not even a slight bow. Have a great weekend.
Holy 💩! You launched that pup ! I’m sorry that happened . It’s happened to me on 2 ft jump lawn dart . Adios arrma servo . Slight bow to the front center shaft but an easy fix . I m new to this and glad I got into working on them as well . It’s getting better anyways 👍🦅
Yeah man, it happens especially when you treat a RC like I do, but I enjoy wrenching on them the most so I have no problem fixing them. It’s relaxing just to go out in the garage and build an RC after a long day at work.
U and ur power systems r mental lol that body looks beaut in that colour, u know me I love my kratons but I wouldn't get the 4s I don't like slipper clutches for the same reason u had in this video 😂😂😂
Thanks man this truck does not have the slipper. It’s got the center diff. That’s what they’re putting in the V2.5 now I think that’s why I kept breaking the CVDs. The slipper would allow a certain amount of slippage. This is almost fully locked up with no slippage. I’ll get it working properly it’s just gonna take a few Sessions of destruction first lol

Yeah, most definitely. I’ve already ordered all the HR parts for it. I’m gonna try that and see what happens. I’m also going to gear down like three teeth. I wasn’t thinking I put that Center diff in there and that probably changed everything.
Yeah I was thinking that too that the center diff might be the issue.
I wonder what I’m going to break next personally . One time , early in , I was getting ready to drive and didn’t know to set down the controller and the car took off into my truck bed before I realized what happened 😂

Yes, it would, but you would still need to limit the travel. They’re too long and the shocks that I used are smaller, not so bulky and they also have the emoshion style shock caps, which is a plus.
I’ve had a few RC’s that were tanks stock, but as soon as I upgraded them EVERYTHING would break constantly!!
Yeah dude, that happens sometimes when you start upgrading these RC’s i just keep upgrading shit until it stops breaking but now I know pretty much exactly which parts I need to get and which ones don’t work so it makes it a little bit easier. I’ve built quite a few of these RC cars.
@@AldoLoyal yeah, you’ve upgraded so many platforms that now you set them up the best way possible for your driving style (hardcore) before you run them… I have been hookin’ some of mine up following your lead… you could run my 6s Kraton over with a tank and it wouldn’t break😳… I did what you did, minus electronics, to your 8s to the “T” deferent brands on some shit but it’s a beast! My buddy makes 7mm shock shafts and will install them with a custom piston and an aluminum cap with the bleeder screw… shocks are just bad ass

Yeah, It did only because I lost front wheel drive and I kept running it and then the center shaft popped off and just ate a hole into the front of the motor mount who would ever thought a piece of plastic would eat a hole in aluminum

Thanks dude. I just made a bad call on gearing. I think I just should’ve went with like a 14 T to start with. I geared it up like I would’ve on 4S and ran it on 6S and it was way too much the good thing about a slipper is I wasn’t breaking the CVDs, it would allow enough slip for that not to happen with the center diff it’s like being completely locked up and it’s not good running that kind of power. i bought some new stuff to try and I’ll give it another shot.
Anyone who posts Kraton gets a sub from me , lol . I m a little over a week into the 6s one and liking it . 6s is a handful compared to 4s . I have to look further ahead to make sure it’s safe becasue she’s moving ! Look at yours fly 👍. Dukes of hazard baby ! Oh yeah I see a larger Kraton over watching 👍

Mine's been running great on 4S, those plastic CVDs can't handle 6S power, I have no idea how you managed to keep it in one piece for so long! Great sends though, I'm not sending mine as hard as you are but it still takes some bad hits and keeps on going!
I ran this truck for at least a year with the slipper and never had a problem with those CVDs never broke one on 6s I think that Center diff was too much for that and I was over geared by three teeth. I’ll get it straightened out and running on 6s
@@AldoLoyal No doubt, is that what was smoking at the end there? Never heard of a diff overheating... or I guess it was that driveshaft that popped off and ground itself against the motor mount plate

That sounds awesome, dude 6s is pretty rough on these cars but if you drive it somewhat easy it’ll hold together. They just don’t like full throttle pulls on 6s they like to twist axles since they’re all plastic
Hey Aldo I’m probably bothering you by now but just a quick question how do you program your mmx8s esc? Does the castle B link work. I don’t have a windows computer so just wondering.
Hey dude, you’re not bothering me one bit. I have the same problems. I have an apple computer I used to use the B Link all the time but sometimes they don’t work properly. So now I’m using Castle Link with my Apple computer. It’s not compatible but if you get the parallels for a Mac, the Castle Link works perfect. Now I can program my ESE before I even put them in the car, which is super awesome.

Hi Dude, I want to ask you... Is this Kraton 4s resistant to falling? Because I am planning to get my salary at the end of July and I don't know whether to buy Sketer 4s or Kraton 4s... So I want to ask you, after all, you are much more professional than me...
They’re both good cars and depending on what you’re gonna do to it if you’re gonna leave it stock for the most part, the arrma is a really good choice. The Skeeter I didn’t have fun with that truck until I made it 6s and it was a blast to run, but was having heat issues no matter what system I put in it just could not keep the temperature down, but I am in a hotter environment than most. That’s a hard one dude I can’t really make that call for you. I like them both but if you’re in the US, I would say Arrma Kraton 4s

ask myself why 5s or 7s is not a thing...
It is just not really a reason for rtr to have it.
There’s a few reasons I’m sure but the right one I don’t know to be honest. those Lipos are hard to come by. Never seen a 7S but I’m sure they’re out there. Also, it’s not easy to set up a esc to work properly Not too many people would know where to even start. Yes, you can plug them in and just go run the car, but your LVC won’t be set up properly and could drain your lipo down to nothing.
