My issue with these aftermarket keyboards is that the cntrl/option/command buttons don't follow apple's layout. They should make a windows version and an apple version

Nobody needs a full sized keyboard in 2024. I do taxes and even I have no use for a numpad. It's outdated.

Love my keyboard but the only thing that sucks is the F3 is no longer the mission control or you can't use the keyboard short cut for reveal desktop. I wish Satchi kept those Mac staples on the keyboard.
Problem with satechi keyboards is the build quality. Try compare it with Apple or Logitech and you'll see.

Magic keyboard is way better. I don't give a damn about additional features if the keyboard is not reliable in typing. Double keystroke everywhere, not joking. After a very short time those wonderful keys become shiny, the final effect is aesthetically very dicutible. One of the most disappointing purchases in recent years.

i used satechi keyboard previously and typing on it is bad and very different that experience on mac magic keyboard. logitech mx keys is much better than satechi. I will never go back to satechi. the build quality is also lackluster

Now that I own it I can say one thing, I wish I knew "fn" key is where I'm used to having "ctrl" so there that unnecessary stress from remembering or realizing why commands arent working cuz fn is being pressed. One thing that wasn't mentioned until doing my own research it can plug in direcly with wire which saves alot of headache if used across many public places that dont even have bluetooth. I also wish spacebar was as responsive as apples magic, it feels a bit stiffer. OH and the other thing is it is a short keyboard and does not provide via fn key access to other key that would be in full sized one, so like having backspace be delete button with fn would have been useful. I'm keeping it only because I havent seen anything as good as this but also fixes the underlined issues.
