- After buying the new Apple Mac Studio, bringing it home and trying out my old keyboard. I realized that I really did need to buy a new keyboard that worked well with the mac studio. So off to amazon I went. Sure you can just buy the Apple keyboard, but I really have no interest in spending over $200! So for $89 (+tax) I bought the Satechi Slim X1 Bluetooth keyboard, and I have to say that it feels and connects and responds just as well as the Apple keyboard did. So for a much cheaper price, I feel that this was a great option.

Since it has an FN key I imsgine you have to press it to use the volume buttons and other keys on the top row, right?

I just ordered this on Amazon UK where you can get a UK keyboard layout. It’s a shame Apple don’t make their keyboard finishes to match their new MacBook colour options.

@@peligeustalos4141Youre wrong. The main point of a keyboard review is to test its sound. Get closeups of the keys being pressed. And describe the feeling of the caps in detail.
It took you 6 minutes just to get to the box.
Another 2 minutes just to get the thing out of the box. Not to mention you were having a hard time pairing it. And you consider this a review? Be honest.

Hello. Can you tell me if the dimensions of the keyboard are 1-in-1 like Apple's?
I want to buy also the original trackpad and the plastic accessory that connects them into one device, but it is designed to fit the original Apple keyboard.
If the dimensions are identical, I would prefer to get the Satechi.
