    Thanks again for 100,000 subscribers ladies and gentlemen, and for the kind words you all gave me when I announced it, it shows how supportive of a fanbase we've created along the way. It's been a fortnight since we hit it and I'm still trying to wrap my head around that number. The next few videos include a 100K Subs Q&A special, a review of 'Split/Second Velocity', and RE-REVIEW of 'Gran Turismo 2'. Hopefully that's a good enough reason to stay subscribed, haha.

    Interesting they had a Hollywood script writer work on this game. It makes sense, because the story felt a tad bit rushed and hurried cut scenes. Probably because the writer was afraid people we’re going to skip the scenes and put a lot of emphasis on making sure people wouldn’t skip them like you said.

    • @Des_Zee
      @Des_Zee 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      There was a behind the scenes making of this game and that's what the developers were afraid of.

    • @Lolotrixx
      @Lolotrixx 3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Interesting, its the opposite for me. I think the cutscenes are about the perfect length for a Video Game. They are precise and just short enough so I can quickly jump back into Gameplay without losing any context. It makes senses if you watch the Making of. But Im also not a big fan of long overblown cutscenes and walking sections in modern Video Games so this works perfectly fine for me. I think the story is pretty great overall.

The heads shots looks brutal, they'd blow chunks out of the enemy, I love how you can shoot people's legs off, or how some shots from more powerful guns send goons flying. Great review, I love how honest you were about the games legacy, maybe it's not the triple AAA masterpiece red dead 2 is but I checks a lot of the boxes that make it an expectational game for the time.

    I was actually really dissapointed with the first RDR when I played it because I was hot off this game. Yes RDR obviously had better graphics and a better story, but it was slower and clunkier. I missed the fast paced action of GUN, it played like a wild west version of Max Payne with an open world element to it. and the soundtrack was absolutely killer. I kind of wish they made another game like this, a western with fast paced responsive shooting controls.

    I cannot believe Neversoft is gone... I loved them as a kid. I event sent letters to the devs and they would respond. Man, time goes by so fast. The only downside to GUN is that it was made for almost every console out in 2005 so the game was developed on the PS2 and then porter/updated for all the other consoles. That is why xbox 360 launch games look so much better than the xbox 360 version.

    Hearing that intro was like smelling your grandmother cooking.... what a burst of nostalgic memories.... the thrill of the bluetooth controller.... the smell of blockbusters... renting video games.... it was a hell of a life back then.... now its just a mouse click.... you got this game from clicking a mouse and paying digitally... i assume anyway.. but what i had to do? Borrow it from a friend and then drive to every major video/game store around searching shelf after shelf, searching pawn shops, for months kiterally. A local ganestop who took my name and number called me saying they got a copy... paid 20 bucks for it and that was steep ngl... remember my brother yelling "GET THE HELL OUTTA DODGE" after school 😊

    Got this on the Gamecube when it came out and loved it. Must have replayed it 10 times or more. It was just a fun, pulpy adventure story, not the same sort of self-serious pomp of Red Dead. Not particularly deep or challenging but a fun blast. A Saturday afternoon game to finish before dinner. Wish more games like that were made today.

    the game was fun, yes it was linear but to me when I was 9 or 10 years old, this game was amazing. id play it at my cousin's place on their Xbox and we would take turns and would just have a blast doing things all over. I still remember some of the easter eggs and cheats and this was the first game I heard about with easter eggs. at this point, the game holds a special nostalgia in my heart and will hold as one of the more dear forms of memories with that side of my family. we would stay up all night just shooting up the town and try to time each other too just to see how long we would survive. and we would limit ourselves of guns to see how long we would survive with the guns the other would choose. it really was a special moment.

    I remember playing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for GameCube, and seeing it played for PS2. Quite a difference in graphics, designs and controls. Plus on my GameCube version, once you decided you wanted to fly around the castle grounds, you could never get off the broom. So no matter how many things you collected while flying, it wouldn’t save until you dismounted, and there was no button, no trigger spot, nothing. My friends took turns for nearly 3 hours trying every single thing we could, but it just couldn’t be done
