    I just bought this exact TV and I'm absolutely loving it. I cannot believe the picture and I love being able to run my PC in it at 144 hz and my PS5 at 120 hz

      Is it normal for it to be slightly bent in the middle? Or is it a defect?

    You need to turn on CEC to get your TV to switch when you turn on a device thats connected.

    Q750 is normally cheaper than U78K here in Canada, but hard to get one, as they are constantly sold out

    Do they put ads in the menu now or not? They were one of the few that had no ads on the menus and I'm in the market for this one. Don't wanna know anything about Samsung, they are just an ad banner.

    I really wanted to love this tv, But I had to return 2 of them, both came out of the box brand new with dead pixels. I got my money back and went with an LG as the build quality and panel was better. the u7k is an impressive tv for the price but buyer beware because of the cost the panel and overall build quality is not great so I don't know how the tv will hold up after one or two years seeing how I had two TVs brand new out of the box with multiple dead pixels

    Be aware that this US model is different in specs, stand and OS to the models available in the UK snd Europe etc.!
    I believe Caleb at digital trends has highlighted this and will be doing a comparison video. The UK model is VIDAA...not as customisable as google tv which I would prefer but not a major issue as I will be using a firestick 4k . More important will be the difference in the TVs pg settings and overall features .

    I'm just unboxing mine . U7k 65inch. UK . This remote is different to all reviews I've seen plus there's only one stand and it's nothing like the one again on this or any other review . Is this because its from the UK?

    How can you already form opinion on the sound when you haven't went into the sound setting yet? Everything could be set to flat and the subwoofer may need to be turned on.

      my first one did as well, and thought hell maybe it wasn't delivered safely, returned the first tv and got home with the second and it looked great until I was watching hockey and noticed what looked like a smudge or mud. no it was a bunch of dead pixels and upon further inspection I found 12 dead pixels. so two exact tv's with dead pixels I went with an LG tv for an additional $500 but the picture and lag input is slightly better then the u7k.
      shame because the tv and picture was really good for the price but you get what you pay for I guess

    • @oicampo73
      @oicampo73 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ps5 can't even do 4k and 60fps, its hdmi is limited to 32GBs not like the XSX is 40GBs but yes can barely do 120fps on 1080p

    • @SibUniverse
      @SibUniverse 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@oicampo73 what 😂😂 do your research before you speak. PS5s transfer HDMI rate is 48Gbps. It can do 120hz and 4K, I have a LG CX now and play 120hz @4k everyday… You just need a proper TV, HDMI cord and game to do it.

      Not sure but after being an LG guy I have switched over to Hisense. I have an older 55 inch U7G and last year’s 65 inch U8H and both have been nothing but awesome. Always work and look just as good as the day I got them. I have both of them paired with Yamaha soundbars and there is no sync issues. I also had no issues wall mounting them both with the 99 dollar articulating wall mount at Sam’s club. I am probably going to pull the trigger on the U8K and move the older U7G to the game room for the kids.

    Non-US and UK people beware. this same model numbered hisense tv sold elsewhere is inferior. eg. ips panel instead of va, vidaa OS instead of Android, etc.

      @Mermete8 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@hansyali_ Hisense does this all the time. I know from people who bought it. poor unfortunate souls.
      If you ask how to discern an IPS and a VA panel, it is easy: just tap the screen with a finger. VA makes a temporary effect. IPS do not.
      You can also zoom in on the pixels with a phone as the pixel arrangement is different.
      Also IPS do not lose color looking at it from the side by 80 degrees even. Older(!) VAs may look washed out or inverted from extreme angles.
      Hope I could help, cheers

    Had the Hisense U7K 75" and eventually exchanged it for the TCL Q7 75" and am MUCH happier with it. I'm thinking I maybe got a bad panel on the Hisense, because there would be blooming bleeding into the black letterboxing of movies, and I didn't see many other reviews mention that, but I for sure had that, alongside TERRIBLE viewing angles and blooming, where I'm convinced its a VA panel, but other forum members swear its IPS. Also, in your review talk about the little things: the backlighting on both remotes is present, but unusable on the U7K, where it's great on the Q7. Compare blooming off angle, and notice how the U7K with its VA miniLED panel is a more obvious white bloom and distracting, where the TCL Q7 is a more blue tinge and more controlled. Thanks for the upload

    • @danieldevito6380
      @danieldevito6380 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @chadmcquade3075 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah my 75 has nothing that you are describing an the 55 I got for the bedroom doesn't either so I would have to say a bad panel. I would say 90% of the time you see something no reviews talk about it's probably because you have a defective model
