    Love my AW QF. For bright room use on windows 10 I set the monitor to Custom Color HDR, switch HDR to on in windows display settings, then crank the slider to 100 in the windows custom color settings. This gets the monitor as bright as possible with the least amount of ABL. Worth noting it will get quite warm under these settings.

      Worth noting that Game 1 max brightness in SDR seems slightly brighter than what I mentioned above. Used Creator mode so much I did not realize how much darker it was with the 2.2 gamma curve. Colors looking very natural on this setting

    Hey. I have the aw3225qf but there is something that drives me crazy... There is flickering with G-Sync turned on. It's mainly in situations with gray on the screen like in dark situations which are not 100% black or a little bit lighter. It does happen in loadingscreens too.
    Is that a common issue for that monitor?
    Is it a common issue for OLED monitors?
    I tried it without G-Sync and everything worked perfectly fine. But without G-Sync the games doesn't feel as smooth as with it and have screen-tearing.
    Could anyone tell me if that is normal and if other OLED monitors (like the Asus pg32ucdm) doesn't have this issue?
    It's really really sad that this has VRR flickering because if it wouldn't have it, it would be a perfect monitor.
    I'm thinking about returning it because that isn't acceptable for 1000 bucks to be honest.
    (Latest Firmware is installed)
    Would be really nice if anyone can help!

      @calantheshaman 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      For me personally text on my PC is fine but I'm not finicky like most people are today. Just like people try to say it's not bright enough but for me it's perfect. If my TV or monitor is super bright it gives me really bad headaches. My room is decently lit and I don't notice the blacks not being really black. Colors look amazing, really smooth when gaming l, and the response is great. I did have an issue with mine coming scratched but the second one came fine. Wasn't too keen on a curved monitor but it's very slight and I'm starting to like it. Anime looks great on it too colors really pop. I hesitated for a few weeks on buying this but glad I finally decided to get it.

      @@zaryl2k The Alienware lineup always more premium than the standard G-series. However, if your primary tasks involve working with Excel and web browsing, I personally believe that switching to an OLED display might not be the best decision.
      Here's why: OLED panels excel at presenting deep blacks, but in reality, very few scenes are completely dark-whether in movies, gaming, or real life. Therefore, the benefit of having infinite black levels on a monitor is questionable.
      On the positive side, OLED panels reintroduce a glossy coating, which has become rare on most other displays (except for Apple displays, it seems).
      The decision is yours to make: Do you prefer paying extra for the potential benefit of infinite black levels, even with the risk of burn-in, or sticking with a traditional IPS panel that performs well across most tasks but has a matte coating?
