Your review is going to decide on whether or not I should buy this monitor. So hopefully you post it soon lol. I’m curious to see how it compares to the 32GQ950.
Am getting this for my ps5 I think I need to turn hdr off from my ps5 i would highly appreciate it if you could make a ps5 settings video for this monitor I play fps and rpg games Don’t watch anything on it as I’ve got a projector thanks
I see a lot of TH-camrs recommending the LG 32GR93U 4K over the Dell G3223Q but Quality Control reviews on this monitor is an average of 3/5 due to scan lines and faulty panels after 6 months. Anyone had any good experience with this monitor or is the Dell the better pick?
I was interested in this monitor but I've seen too many complaints on Reddit about a audible fan noise, pink colour tint on one side of the monitor and green on the other. Hopefully this gets addressed in the review or has been fixed since launch. The selection of non OLED monitors is very disappointing and this LG monitor seems to be best for productivity and gaming.
Thank you for the detailed review - I landed on this model after all the research :) I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to emulate 1440p resolution as if it would be a 27" screen? So the rest of the unused screen estate would be black? Or the only way is to launch a game in a windowed mode (1440p) and set a black wallpaper as a desktop background?😢
LG needs to start listening to their customers complaints about their recent insistence on using heavy matte coatings(though this one looks ok in the vid), aggressive ABL, and dim displays (especially their OLEDS and their 4k mini-LED (27gr95um, which I own...grrr).
When using this monitor on a ps5 the menu is saying 60hz rather than 144hz i am using the official 2.1 hdmi cable that came with the monitor what could it be?
He made a video on it too and the conclusion was, lg I’d bet the r in almost every way. I have ordered the LG, mainly because I want to do photo editing on it and the colors are supposedly much better than the Samsung. For gaming only Samsung might be the better pick, but it is more expensive.
I don't know if the price justifies 144hz in today's era of gaming. For 400$ I think this would be a stellar monitor, it seems to be more designed for console gaming, which is what they should advertise it as. Overall a solid monitor just not worth the base retail asking price in my opinion. For 700$-800$ you can go for the lg OLED 240hz.
@ShrineMedium literally the last sentence of your original comment is: For 700$-800$ you can go for the LG OLED 240hz. If you mean the 1440p one, why would you comment that on a video review of a 4k monitor? As that would not be comparable to the monitor in question.
@@TotallyRandomPlaythroughs I think maybe you should take the time to think just a little bit more before speaking. But don't worry I'll break it down. This monitor here in the video, the LG 32GR93U retails for 800$, on sale it can go down to 600$, I think its value is more at 400$ personally. Its limited to 144hz which is why I say is better suited for console use. For 800$, you can go for an LG oled monitor for 700$-800$ usually when its on sale. For the 800$ price I think an Oled is a much better choice. Never said anything about 4k 240hz getting you 700$, that would be a great buy however. Ips panels are still good choices, but they should not be similar in price to OLED. we good? Cool.
Now now ladies, let's just agree this is a good monitor for the money, as of June 16th 2024 in the UK this is going for £549.99 which there aren't many other monitors for that price range for 4k @144hz.
Please can you help me? 🙏🏻 I have Mac mini M2 and ps5, in my situation is better this LG monitor (but 27”) or MSI MAG274UPF? Please answer me, thank you so much!

The monitor is premium though... Wait i just exposed my comment as being sponsored..

I’ve a question,I was wondering to to connect a speaker to the monitor coz I’m using it to play my ps5
Do you recomend the 27gr93u-b? It can give you a similar experience.
how does it compare to the GQ950B?
Are u still happy with it?
Where is the free sync option?
Hello, can we hang it on the Vesa?
I am concerned about reports of fan noises in this monitor? I want silent desktop space, can you address my concern? Is this monitor for me?
Just about to order 3 of these for surround gaming! Cant wait to set them up! i upgraded from 3 1080p 240hz that i have had since 2016 to these.
Hey can you do a review on a 2024 monitor that its main use is editing but also gaming from time to time.
Question, what mini LED alternatives (specifically 32" 4K) would you recommend?
Samsung odyssey neo g8 [4K , 240Hz , 32 inch , VA , 1196 Zones (mini leds)]

It's a good monitor but not so different jump if you have a 1400p monitor. 1440p OLED is better.

So the gp950 over this??
LG make almost every video screen for the rest of the market. Most major brands market LG under their own brand.
Does this monitor have auto low latency mode?
Nice vid - good, interesting review. Thanks for being honest
Nice man👌
does it have lighting on the back side?
Yes

The ps5 menu is only limited to 60hz. Once your into a compatible game you’ll see it run at a higher refresh rate.
