I decide to make this live for members in advance, It will be in HDR in a few days but i wanted to Thank You for Joining...
Incase you didnt know hisense has a secret code home page step one go to settings two go to sound three leave at balance then final enter code 1969 from there it will take you the secret menu there you can customise the image sound also other settings enjoy
As a note, Hisense doesn’t enable peak performance out of the two high-end HDMI 2.1 ports right out of the box. You do need to go through the settings and enable maximum bandwidth on those in order to get high resolution and high framerate
How do you do that..i just bought one. And cat figure out how to get 4k resolution...i tried all ports and switched to enhanced mode but stills says 1920x1080..
Should I buy u7k or Samsung q60c
im no expert, samsungs are great tv's , i got my u7k 55 for 500, it was a steal and why i leaned towards it, but that q60c is a stunner, if you can afford it get that.@@rohanm6878
@@rohanm6878 q60C is like VW Golf/Jetta in tv specs . U7K is like BMW X4 level TV. It looks more like QN90B .
Its INSANe tv . Don’t even consider anytbing QN 90C 80C 70C ….. they all have much more blooming n all inferior !
@@rohanm6878u7k is far superior spec wise
really loving this u7k, time to break the piggy bank. Good review as always honest one of the best to do it big up yuhself bro.
Thank you for this video!
You're the only person who walked me through the step by step process of unboxing 😊
You’re welcome
Your reviews looks really expensive and time consuming that i only see channels with 5 million+ do, great job 👏
Thanks so much
Great review , this is a tv i want to get
Thank you @TechSteve for the super in depth two part review! I have a question though. Are the lights in the IR remote sensor on the bottom center, able to be turned off?
Sorry I don’t remember all the menu settings
Steve, Can you give us calibration settings for the HiSense U8K? It would be much appreciated...Thank you
Great job! 🎉
Thanks 😊
Just got U7K 75" from all the reviews on here. Would recommend for a good price tv with good performance! Love the upgraded OTA tuner, pulls in stations better than old Samsung it replaced. As far as bad viewing angles, not a problem on the 75" screen, have to get 45 degrees off center before picture dims any! Picture colors really pop on HD OTA channels, doesn't look half bad on some SD channels. Put it in "film maker" mode and picture looks pretty good.
What's one of the better 60hz tvs with the least amount of motion blurr
Steve do you know if 75inch is IPS or ads panel
you rock tech steve
Thanks
Great video! I was debating between this tv and Sony x85k. I bought the x85k and am not really happy with it. I thought about returning it and getting the hisense u7k. Tv will mostly be used for PS5 and streaming.
Hi Steve, I have a question for you. I am looking to get a very budget friendly 4k tv around 43" for gaming. I want the lowest possible input lag, and 60hz is fine for me. What would you recommend?
Sony x85k 43" $600
Vu masterpiece glo or Hisense u7k, which is best??
Is the AU7000 and AU7090 good tv
Steve, puedes ayudarnos con la calibración para este modelo U7K, me lo compré gracias a este video pero me gustaría sacarle full provecho a la imagen. Gracias y saludos! 👏🏼
How can I get my Xfinity to show on the main screen menu (Hisense U7K). My old tv, roku menu, had this feature. For now, we have to selsct input hdmi1 to watch Xfinity...don't like that...
Im stunned with smooth setting which makes 30 fps video to run in 60 fps like battery smooth. Amazing for sports.
I just got the U7K, what a masssive difference coming from a standard cheaper line 4k tv. I honestly can't believe it and am happy I didn't shell out hundreds more for an oled or something else. (Went from a lg un7070pua "70 inch 4k" to 85 inch U7K)
My favorite thing about this tv in comparison to the tv I had was the u7k has extremely deep blacks while also having insanely bright dynamic lighting ability. Also color is very exceptional. I was worried the tv wouldn't be thay bright because the u8k is marketed as being much brighter but compared to more lower end tvs I've always had the u7k is insanely bright
1000 nits is really bright for sure. Glad you’re happy with your purchase
Yeah I looked at $3000-$5000 TVs at bestbuy, couldn't really see any better picture than the U&K 75" TV
Colors really pop on HD OTA channels!
Should i buy u7k or q60c
What is the deal with the reds on Hisense TV’s. I purchased one snd the red is not really red, it’s really over saturated but it’s not red. It’s like a red mixed with orange. It’s very odd.
Is th uh8g a better tv
Hi. New sub here and enjoying your content. Can you provide the name of the camera that is connected to the tv?
th-cam.com/video/AHlzKxYC3ok/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jqyNU2nfUGUwBE3j
Hi Steve. Which tv is better to get between hisense U7K and Sony X90L.? On Black Friday the price difference is $300, so is it worthy to pay additional $300 for the Sony X90L?
You should put size
Hi Steve. I would like to ask you something. Is the U8K much better in every way against the SAMSUNG QN90B? I'm torn between these two TV's right now. Thanks for your response.
The 90B seems a bit more polished far as picture quality because it’s a True 10bit panel, I personally think the OS needs some work and the remote will drive you crazy, the Hisense has Dolby Vision much better audio and Google is easier to use and you will love the TV since you want be comparing everything side by side
@@TechStevePlus the U8K supports Dolby Vision Gaming in 120hz right? I am planning to buy my next TV together with a new XBOX SERIES X and I want to play with that feature in Star Field. So I believe that the U8K will serve me right. And from what I read the other day, the QN90B firmware broke the local dimming of the QN90B's and a lot of owners are really infuriated by this issue.
It’s a apple 🍎 vs pear 🍐 choice.
Have u seen S95B? Last yr U8H was So close to S95B QD OLED . I have seen it . QN90B has NOTICABLE, tiny and yes noticable blooming. When U8H had NO -NO blooming. U8K should be even better than U8H . It has like great speakers. U have to spend about $500 at least to match(not beat) 😮 the speakers. The entry level BOSE, SONOS $300 speakers will alll sound like dog poop beside Hisense. I literally used my SONOS to play same stuff beside my 2021 model that does NOT even have subwoofer. My $300 Sonos sounded like dog poop. I could not believe it cuz I LOVE my Sonos. 😊
@@birdtj82 Thank you so much for your input. I have the fear of the Burn-in on OLEDS that's why I want to go for a mini LED, which is either the U8K or the QN90B, because my son watches TH-cam all day and those logos on the screen will surely leave a mark on the OLED.
@@markchristantaguiam819 if ur not playing video games much . Get U8K . So much better for TH-cam . That’s what I use . I stream TH-cam , discovery + , Netflix
Is the upscaling better on this compared to the u6k. I got the u6k and don't like the low resolution upscaling as it looks horrible, so was thinking of upgrading to u7k, is it worth the price difference?
On the U7k 75" some SD stuffs looks good[even black and white] and some looks not so good, probly depends on signal!
@@RichClark-fk6qw yes I got the 75in and upscaling is far superior on this one than u6k. I got a streaming box that upscales lower content even better. U7k is definitely the bang for the buck.
How bad is the viewing angle? I need to see this in person
So do we use these settings for calibration of the U7K?
Which settings I didn’t calibrate it
@@TechSteve Aww I Thought the calibration section we were supposed to use the settings that were posted
Hi, thank you very much for your content. I have bought the hisense u7k tv. it feels like it has a strange noise when it is on silent. it is an electronic noise that apparently comes from the backlight led. it sounds like a mechanical hdd. when i lower the brightness of the screen the noise disappears, it is a very annoying beep. have you noticed something like this?
you should stand close to the tv and leave it on mute.
I didn’t
I am experiencing a similar issue, it sounds like a buzzing noise whenever the tv is bright. Did you find out why this happens?
NEVER do this for a very long period amount of time, it is the tv set calling the "mother" ship!
I believe that the 75 inch Hisense U7K has an IPS type panel. Do you plan on reviewing the 75 inch version (or know someone that you trust that has reviewed that particular model)? I would like to know if the mini-led and large number of dimming zones would diminish the primary draw back of an IPS panel (low contrast ratio).
Nope, too much money to show people a panel
That is an understandable reason. Thanks.
@@TechStevewhat should I buy the u7k or Samsung q60c
How do you use HDR or Dolby vision? It does not pop up when I click on picture
Play content from Disney plus, 4k Netflix etc
Uniformity?
I got Hisense Roku TV 43 inch R6
I can't get 4k to work .i plugged in all ports but my display keeps saying 1920x1080. I also switched to enhanced mode and auto..but I still says same...please help
TVs change resolution based on content automatically. So to test download TH-cam app on it and search 4k demo
Ok I will give it a try..ty
Hi, so which HDMI should i use a Xbox Series X on?
The one labeled 144Hz
Irs the 3rd and 4 th hdmi ports x
Hi Steve how is the performance with gaming like the PS5?
Great
@@TechSteve I ordered this TV Hisense 55U79KQ do you have a review and unboxing video of this model?
@hanspassenier5849 i haven’t heard of that model
Got it in 65 for 729. Better than my U8G and nearly as good as my U8H with much better gaming. Playing PC 144hz 4K is outstanding.
How about the colour accuracy and os?
@@shadowsdie2wice Google os snappy and easy to use. Lots of adjustments. Accuracy is not a huge concern for me since I like to adjust to a very warm and saturated look.
Is this that much better of a tv ofver the u6k?
Way brighter and has 120hz panel
720p looks good
Yo Steve😊
What up G
Is it only me or does U7K's back look sexier than on the u8k's?
I guess-Justin Timberlake will agree 😊😊😊😊 with that song . Sexy back.
Lol
65' $699 today at Best Buy today only
@TechSteve. Hola por favor una configuración que me puedan brindar para poder configurar el modo imagen y se vea nitida colores vividos y no se vea amarillenta la pantalla.
Why i got vidaa os in this model in india?
You have to ask Hisense
Hello,is it true 144hz TV?
Yes with a powerful computer using VRR in spurts but realistically you need a pc monitor with a display cable to get 144Hz full time
@@TechSteve But what about regular viewing, for example TH-cam, does the TV produce an increased refresh rate?
@YuriiB no TV only broadcast 60Hz max in the US and 50Hz in EU
Android OS?🤔 I thought he was running VIDAA 7.0
In your region
Amazing TV but... pixel error occures at every input, moreover cloudy and lighting fault as default problems. Probably we received a bad product, but the manufacturer doesn't care about it. I'm so disappointed and will avoid any Hisense products far-far away in the future. :(
It''s a 144hz panel, not a 120hz like he says in the beginning of the video for anyone interested in buying the TV
Yes, I miss spoke. It requires a 3090 or higher graphics card with VRR it’s a 144Hz in spurts because HDMI limits. Maybe they will add display ports in the future so it can handle native.
I'm very disappointed why they degrade their features at other countries.
Maybe it Google TV license
It is better with 2 people but the tv is only 43lbs.
You have to think of everyone on the internet watching. grandpa, grandma, people with disabilities.
120 hertz isn’t really important most time can’t even play in 4k on 120FPS
It is, because most tv do NOT do 4k 120Fps. But if u get PREMIUM TV, it wil ALWAYS upscale the TV to 120Fps. It makes--world of difference in Fluidity , even ppl moving, dancing, sports jumping , every thing looks Different. Like i cant explain. It’s ACTUALLY VERY noticable.
I personally NOTICED it myself, my friend bought 60hz tv, it looked just insanely bad , then he hated it so much, returned it, bought the same TV but 1 tier up 120hz. Omg just much better butter smooth. The 2 sightings were so close up. I was able to see in home difference . It’s quite d upgrade.
D lower tier wont have the Upscaling capacity , even if they do, wont be as better smooth job as the premium panels. 😊
HDR is so ugly
It may just be your display
