Heard a lot of good things about this monitor. Amazon can't keep it in stock here in the states. If you're not a competitive gamer I think it's hard to beat the value to performance that you get here. I always felt like VA panels got a bad reputation, fact is, most people don't mind them at all and I'll take them over a glowing IPS panel any day
I'm excited for this monitor just even for content consumption, let alone gaming. I've got a hobby station with a bunch of lamps, and the brightness for such a cheap price is super tempting.
Just ordered this monitor - £325 with my Amazon employee discount. Using it as a stopgap until the new Samsung 360 Hz OLEDs appear, but the local dimming is the first I've ever seen at anything close to this price.
@@swistakowy so far so good! The blacks are pretty insane. The only downside I would say is sometimes, the local dimming is quite noticeable, but most of the time it’s pretty nice!
Nice to see more Mini-LED options in general. Hoping to see more 4k 27-34 inch monitors with 1500+ dimming zones in the future. I know the new 4k OLEDs are gorgeous, but Mini-LED is more practical for people like me who do work and game on their monitor and don't want to babysit their PC habits.
Just a heads up for anyone planning to use this for 60hz console gaming… don’t. I bought this monitor hoping it would be great for everything but the response time at 60hz leads to a good amount of ghosting and black smearing that makes console games feel pretty not good. Just thought I’d give my two cents on that aspect of it since it isn’t present here.
warranty is super easy with aoc, I broke my screen trying to install govee leds to the back and it cracked the screen, sent that one in free of charge and got a new one!
@@cynthiaandoh9575 it diffuses the light. as a result, the pixels get blurrier so you don't get a crisp image. also it makes reflections just worse. you can google matte vs glossy pixels and see some of the examples.

Hello, could you do a review of AOC’s G27G4XN? It’s a 27” 1440p 180 hz flat monitor. I want to know if it’s a good the price it’s at.
Just picked up 2 on black friday for $250 each c:
im jumping to these from 1600×900 60hz monitors 😂
Hey is this compatible with a VESA mount? I have an existing arm I’d like to use it on.
which is better Q27G4/x or this
nice review thanks
I'm getting terrible VRR brightness flicker with G-sync. If anyone had solved this on their model please let me know.
Great video!

PS(i was the 69 like)
And this AOC is not really an option for Europe.
How is the blooming?
I like it! 😊
That monitor is so thicc gah dang lol
Thicc is beautiful
Does this do auto hdr detection with Windows 11?
No FreeSync
No glossy = No Deal
Semi glossy
Enjoy the reflections. You nuts.
Yes I have the 5K Glass Studio Display & it has less reflection than my Matte LG 4Kmonitor when working@@mrkvomiltato871
You have to go oled if you want glossy.
So basically useless comment.
Lol that's the only option we have now because IPS Glossy doesn't exists @@datdudeinred
Matte = Pass
Wrong. It is too glossy.
Whats wrong with matte? You like reflections?

you can google matte vs glossy pixels and see some of the examples.
Did anyone try the ghosting and smearing at 100 Hz?
