    Why is it that when someone comes out as trans then the whole world has to say YES to everything they want. Sometimes people need to be told NO.

    It’s not about their gender identities. Their gender identities are not competing against other gender identities. It’s the body that competes and the advantages bestowed on someone who went through male puberty are not fair if they want to compete in women’s sports.

    I don't know if anyone remembers Caster Simenya. She was actually BORN a girl, but had undeveloped male organs as well, that she was never aware of. She has more testosterone than most females, but not as much as males, even athletically dismal ones. But the Athletics boards, including the Olympics athletics board, ruled that she would have to take testosterone blockers in order to compete with other females. A WOMAN who naturally produced extra testosterone could not compete with other women. Here they are completely disregarding that this swimmer has the build of a man, WAS a man, and has an actual unfair advantage.

    • @MissMiserize
      @MissMiserize 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +29

      I think it's important to separate women/men from female/male/intersex.
      Semenya was clearly a woman and female, but she wasn't fully. , intersex conditions are medical conditions where you don't properly develop into a male or female body.
      The athletics board fully had a right to have her medically transition into being more female. I don't see anything wrong with this, and for many intersex people, it's medically necessary to take hormones or have operations when they're ready.
      Trans people are pushing themselves into an "intersex" state and some are like they're fully the opposite sex, like Lia Thomas. She's more male than female.

      The debate is not about trans rights. It's leftists against sane people.
      There is a subset of people in these "rights groups" who are simply leftists, they do not care about trans rights, they just want to destroy what they call heteronormative society. It's not about asking for acceptation of difference, it is about erasing difference by destroying the norm. Every norm, basis and tradition of western society they want to destroy : family, marriage, tradition, religion, sex, women and men.
      They are termites and want to destroy our society.
      I am French, we have this mentally ill leftists too, and they promote islam which is very patriarchal and traditionnal. These leftists have no problem defending tradition as long as it is not western. They hate themselves and they hate the west.

    • @Wraiven22

      Why not have different divisions for people that come from wealthy families that are able to financially support them and cover expenses so that the competitor can spend all of their time training and maintaining a perfect diet vs. Someone that doesn't come from money that has to maintain another job, buy cheaper food, cook themselves, clean their own houses, pay for their own medical care, etc.? Economic class plays a massive role in just about every facet of life including sports too. Talent is important, but two people equally talented, one with financial support one without, will have VERY different challenges in something like sports.

    It really pisses me off when trans activists tell female competitors to "get better" or "you're just not good", trying to excuse this ridiculous behavior. Women in sports are already training their best and pushing themselves so hard to compete against the best. Physiologically, there's a limit to how much one can improve themselves. To tell women to "just get good" is a slap in the face. Why should women have to accommodate for the 0.06% in the first place, while we take the hit? How does it make sense? Activists don't even care about how women feel, as long as the trans peoples feelings aren't hurt lol. And I have no problems with trans individuals. May they live their lives peacefully and however they wish, but I am not okay with things that are personally affecting women.

If I had a surgery to remove my testicles for any reason such as cancer, trauma, etc., in a short time after, my testosterone level would measure ZERO. That blood level of testosterone below a certain amount would not make me a female, which is the argument the sports governing board is making. My chromosomes are still XY, no matter if my testosterone levels are high, normal, or low. Females are still XX, no matter their estrogen levels high, normal, or low. XY chromosomes are linked to bigger body size, larger muscle mass, larger bone density, more strength, etc. Yes, testosterone levels do accelerate the physical changes, but lack of testosterone after one transitions as an adult does not negate much the years of training with with heavy weights, their frame size does not shrink, their longer muscle bellies do not shorten, etc.

    As an NCAA athlete, I know how strict they can be on stuff. Some of the rules we have to follow are ridiculous, but we HAVE to follow them or we could lose eligibility. It's all in the name of fairness, which is understandable. HOWEVER, when they go and let stuff like this, it undermines everything they say about fairness. Lia should be allowed to transition in whatever way, but LIA should be the one to face the consequences of that transition in sports, not every female athlete. if Lia wants to go and take hormones and transition in a way that may be detrimental to athletic performance, that shouldn't be put on any woman who's also trying to compete.

      I hate this attitude that they should have to experience zero sacrifices and have zero limitations. It's unfortunate to be born in the wrong body and not get to experience life as a the woman you wished to be from day 1. I'm AFAB and have gender dysphoria myself (I've decided not to transition but if given the choice I would restart my life as a biological male if I could). But we all have to examine our options in life based on the lot we were given. We can't expect to have it all.
      What gets me is that most althete's careers as profesional athletes are short lived to begin with only lasting through their college years. If competing was that important to you, you can put off your hormone replacement therapy for a few years. But why wait when you can instantly jump from 497th place to number 1 in a year?

      I think allowing exemptions for trans people around strict rules is what makes people angry. For example, everyone was saying Trump banned trans people from the military. And I jumped on this bandwagon of how messed up it was. Then my boyfriend at the time, who was in the military, explained to me he didn’t ban trans people. Just no one can be in the military if you need to be on medication since the military doesn’t know if they can get you meds in a war zone. They made an exemption for trans people. Which is dumb because withdrawal from testosterone and estrogen can lead to brain fog, difficultly sleeping, mood swings, all things that can be deadly in a war zone. So trump said trans people have to follow this rule as well.
      It makes me sad because most trans people understand why these rules are in place and don’t want exemptions. But the loud minority ruins it for the rest of trans people.

    I did hair for several years. There was a man (this was 20 years ago) that was VERY feminine that I worked with. He couldn't stand me because I was pregnant. We got into an argument one day because I was tired of working with his hustle behavior (every single day) toward me. I told him I wasnt going to hold back my life just to make him feel "better". His voice quickly went from squeaky to deep bass, pumped up his arm muscles, darted toward me while stating "I'm literally going to kill you"! Thankfully there was another man there to hold him back. He could have, and would have, beat me to a bloody pulp. I was very bitter toward transgenders, as a whole, because of my experience. The thing about female athletes defending themselves is that it is really hard to do. You can get your social media accounts deleted and get into real trouble if you say something that can make trans people look bad. Very few female athletes dare to speak about this topic as it can ruin their careers. There are actually a few who have spoken, you can find it on TH-cam, and you can clearly see how scared they are of saying something in the wrong way.

    • @DonnaBrooks
      @DonnaBrooks 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just posted about this a few minutes ago on this page. I gave 4 reasons why young female athletes don't speak up. The short answer is fear. It's the same thing that keeps people in politics from giving a definition for the word, "woman". It's the same thing that prevents people from defending JK Rowling, Kathleen Stock, or Graham Linehan. These people are heretics to the trans demands ideology & to associate with them means the mob will turn on YOU. It's the same thing that has controlled people throughout the darkest chapters of human history,- from Mao's Cultural Revolution to the Nazis to witch trials to the Inquisition. Fear & intimidation keep people from speaking up.

They traded time with friends and family, vacations, dating and so much more all for strength, technique, speed, endurance and a chance to be the best. Any free time they did have was usually spent studying. Some even found a way to have a job because their scholarship did not cover everything. As they are on the starting block waiting for the gun to sound they know that nobody worked harder than they did, that nobody wants it more than they do. Ive always supported LGBT people but after all these incidents where people are literally actively erasing and blurring the lines of sex differences, it becomes difficult. When someone speaks facts and logic they are instantly labelled as transphobic. And there are enormus amounts of internal contradictions in these groups that any sane person wouldnt support. Whereas if someone says "I'm a gender fluid woman" or "I'm a non-binary man" - their sex at birth is woman and man, but the person does not 100% identify as woman or man. I do believe these shades of grey in the human spectrum of gender identity have always existed. To visibly live these differences openly is accepted in some cultures eg India. But many cultures, historically and today, use social pressures and influence to force conformity to the gender that matches your sex at birth. The lifestyle of performer and singer David Bowie is frequently dissected for these very reasons. To close: as a Woman who feels quite at home amongst all the variety of naturally occurring Women, do I like the term "cis woman" .... Men's sports are often open to women, but they've been devoid of women for so long, you have to look at the rulebooks and *discover* that a lot of the guys' sports are actually co-ed. Basic search shows the NFL and NBA in the U.S. have no rules against women playing on the male teams. Hypothetically, both the NBA and WNBA could be filled with women, if there were enough women that outperformed every man.

The trans man ran with the men and did great, he was already a fantastic athlete and even made it to state. The trans girl ran with him- she understood that biologically, she was different than other cis girls, and was alright running with the boys because she knew there would be an unfair advantage she had over her gender. There was no controversy, no drama, and she did pretty well running against the boys too.
