It's stuff like this I really appreciate dave for. You do great work. You focused on the real problem. As a person who's had a lot of traumatic events... how you handled that was great. Especially making her repeat and encouraging her to take care of herself. She needs to hear these things. I know from experience that when you're coming out of that situation, you have tunnel vision. You are so focused on just surviving. You don't focus on thriving. You're just focused on getting yourself out and consequences be darned. It's a crappy situation. Btw. She's likely hiding something. Don't know what, but if she's been in that abusive household for that long of time. You learn to hide. To survive. It might not be huge or substantially impactful. It's most likely not bad. But she's likely hiding something. It's probably been beat into her to do it. Depends on how free she feels after the restraining order. She's either hiding or she's in the firehose of emotional reaction stage where she ain't afraid to say anything. I know I pick on dave for some things like his view on credit cards. But it's all nuanced stuff. Overall I think he helps a lot of people & this imo I'd a good example of that.

Hopefully all goes well for her, and her children, and she gets the divorce sooner rather than later. She mentioned straight away at the beginning that she was single, but married and a mother of two. In my book she is already a single mother, divorced, or not.
@@deb9806 Yes she is still married, but separated. Dave mentioned that his "team" was going to help her with advice and it sounded like they were going to help her figure out each step of the way to get this done.
@@alycewich4472 I hope so. They are mostly financial advisors, but maybe they can give her names of other people who can help her. He didn’t let her talk much but I’m assuming her baby is in daycare which is another cost and her daughter is in school and she probably like to stay near that school and parents
God bless you, Dave and your team! The world needs way more organizations like yours!
Dave Ramsey at his best. Well done!
Dave you nailed it on this call! Love and wisdom
Gosh I love Dave. I wish I had a father like him growing up. Even so, I am grateful for my Heavenly Father 💗
I love how they always respond to these calls and give them as much support as they need.
Great call! I wish so many more people, women and/or men in these situations, knew this information and, too, had folks in their corners. So many people feel hopeless. Thank you, Dave!
Dave, you are an exceptional human being! I've learned so much from listening to you over the years.
Everyone needs an "Uncle Dave" in their corner.
I have an uncle Dave Ramsey it’s a different Dave of course 😂
Let her ask him for a loan and see how much he is "in her corner". He don't give a fuck about her. She is here for the views.
@@matthewphillips5483 he gave her a free counselor. If he gave money to every called, he'd be broke
@@georgewagner7787 Agreed and I'm not saying he should give money to her or anyone else. Just laughing about how people think he is doing so much for her here when really he isn't doing much of anything but a Dr. Phil style sound byte.
I'm so glad you guys are helping her. It's best that she move ASAP. It's best that Mr. Wonderful doesn't have any idea where she Lives.
That's hard to do now. But she could get into a building with a security door and neighbors
Depends on how much he's stalking her, which, I'd wager, is more often than she's seen him doing it.
I have been a victim of domestic violence. Ended up with a broken arm. Threw his tail in jail. Very lucky for me, I was a long haul trucker so I had a decent income. Thank you Dave for dealing with scum bag husband and letting this lady know how to fight. If she goes back to court she need to look at the judge or the podium and NOT him. She will be okay. You are a champ Dave for putting a team together for her. God Bless You.
Dave thanks for helping this mom. 🥰🙏
I am so glad that you all are going to help her. This guy sounds like a real creep! She should not have to pay all the things that he's responsible for. Hopefully she can move and move away from him.
Look at Dave showing America how fathers are supposed to be providers and protectors!! (Physical and emotional) ❤
I’ve been there and it is the most terrifying thing a person can experience. I pray her she and her babies will be ok.
Thank you for helping this lady and her kids!
I'm proud of them for helping her!
Thanks Dave, u are good to listen to. Hope the worlds listening ❤❤
That little “oh” when she heard that she didn’t have to pay his overdue taxes broke my heart heart.
I love how compassionate Dave can be❤🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️
I just love Dave Ramsey. What a good man. He just picks up on everything and he tells it as it is.
Mr. Ramsey, between you and my pastor, who Jesus has me today, you have truly shown me the path through pure sanctification. I used to firmly believe in "Pull yourself up by your bootstraps" mentality. Now I believe in your example as a godly man.
THIS IS A PASTOR FOLKS, NOT A FINANCIAL ADVISOR!
YOU WILL BE OK SARAH! STAY STRONG!
I don’t always agree with some of Dave’s personal views but he’s awesome with this situation. 😊
God Bless Dave and his team!!
Uncle Dave give us a lot of strength ❤
Uncle Dave going for the jugular😂 he's 100% right, dont threaten to call the cops, CALL them! Thats the whole purpose of the restraining order!
I used to love that line in my check register I would draw to put the paycheck up to before the checks were written . It wasn't used all the time but there were times.
This woman's ex just exited off easy street , with Dave driving the car now.
How do you come to that conclusion when Dave wants the Ex to pay child support and the income taxes? Do you think the ex should move back home and continue to abuse her🫢
Dave, you are awesome!! You gave her a lifeline; she'll be ok.
I wish all the people that say Dave is awful would listen to this call.
Being so passive isn't going to work, she needs to learn how to fight for herself.
Great call and help by Dave.
Dave can’t retire. No one on his staff can take control like he can. Respect 🫡
God bless you Dave and your staff. You deserve all the blessings that you have. You are a beautiful soul, tough but kind and soft. You are one of a kind, who loves God and an inspiration to everyone. 🙏🌹👍
Dave I love you on this call. I only wish everyone could get the tiger in her corner like this woman and her family are going to get.
Dave is a true Prince taking care of this abused mother.
perfect example of a rich man doing good for others!! God bless
That next time he pops up could be to do her harm…. Absolutely call the police and ensure you have you 2A ready to defend yourself and your kids
This is when Dave is at his best!
Good Job Uncle Dave 😊👍
I litterally love this man! Dave you are the best!
These are the types of calls where Dave shines!
Thank you, Mr. Dave Ramsey. True christinanity!
Blessing to you, Dave Ramsey
Dave is 100% correct call the cops no exceptions. Once an abuser always an abuser take it from someone who lived that life as a child.
You can tell Dave is more interested in helping her get away from her husband than with debt. Great advice!
This is why God blessed Dave with this platform, because he cares about people and actually helps them!!! ❣️
This was beautifully handled. Thank you ❤
GO DAVE!! What a beautiful thing to do for her 🩵 She is an amazingly strong woman‼️
