If you are counting on soft brass so, for example, you can attack rust spots without taking off the bluing and it's steel instead you might be doing some damage. Check those bristles with a magnet and if that "brass" sticks to the magnet it's really steel. A lot of "brass" fittings are really steel with brass coating. Many hinges, knobs, screws, and even those grommet kits can be steel imposters that will rust and stain your projects. Chinesium sneaky bastids.

Best comment 😂 Although I'm surprised any employees were at that Harborfreight... (I guess the ones that get it away with it multiple times from the same store and location without getting caught 🤦♂️) I've been to maybe ten Harborfreights and only 2 actually have had great management and employees that keep everything stocked on the shelves while maintaining correct inventory to match their website... Most seem to have the absolute worst management I've ever witnessed. Also shout out to "Rural King" it's like a Harborfreight/Tractorsupply/auto parts store on steroids that also sells name brand tools in addition to HF priced products, plus free popcorn, coffee, AND guns, ammo, and some accessories... Snagged a 2 rifle AR height 42" heavy duty nylon padded soft case with 2 molle mag pouches, a permanent padded zipper compartment and a safariland 7TS holster for less than $100 😂 Sadly they are pretty rare to find, all on the east cost side, (west coast and middle flat county have their own equivalents with various names) basically a cluster up the map from central Florida to Ohio with a few random outliers... I wish my town had one, but we do have some cool family owned hardware stores that have a similar "we sell everything men want besides women" inventory 😂 One has a complete knitting/sewing/upholstery section next to the home furnishings if you already have the woman and need to distract her while you look at everything else 😉

I grabbed one of those big apache 9800 cases on black friday for $100 and a few of the metal ammo cans for $10, definitely some pretty solid stuff for the price.
The only problem with Apache cases is that pick apart foam. It comes apart into 1/2" cubes after a couple of months. Other than that they are strong and the weather seal works well.
@@bigdickballistics Picked up the ammo can and a pair of glasses too lol. The glasses weren't big enough to fit over my regular glasses, but the set of ears worked great! I have some range footage on my latest shorts of some 3D printed guns I finally go to fire when I went to the range.
I use that bag as a range bag as well. Cleaning kits, ammo, hearing/ear protection and whatever pistols I’m taking all go in. Makes a world of a difference grabbing a bag that’s pre-kitted than trying to remember everything then get to the range and realize you’ve forgotten ammo. This system is undefeated. Get back from range day and replace anything that needs it and throw the bag in the corner until next time.
Honestly one person can’t do this video. He just gave us like a starter kit but it’s way more he didn’t even get a chance to get into so do your video as a part 2 to his so to speak. Just pick up where he left off
They have all the tools you need to build/mill an ar lower or p80 Glock. Tools to stipple your pistol grips, punch sets, mallets, vices, all kinds of fun shit. Drones for moving target practice.
Yep he didn’t get a chance to dive deeper into the electronic stuff like dremels, engravers, heat guns, soldering irons etc. but it’s a lot more there for sure
HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Over the years I've bought almost all of this stuff. I still have a lot of it. I built an AR pistol kit using an Apache case. Lower with 7.5 inch 5.56, 300 Blk and 7.62x39 uppers, all in a handy case. They used to have a hydraulic press that was useful for bending AK flat receiver plates. All the tools for milling 80% AR receivers, I got there. It wasn't as well built as the expensive tools, but it worked, and was cheap enough to replace when needed.
I’d recommend anyone new to building to buy from hf. There’s nothing worse than getting all the top of the line stuff when getting into a hobby then finding out you actually don’t enjoy it as much as you thought you would and being stuck with a pile of expensive memorabilia. And the best part is it’s a lot of the cheaper stuff that still work if you decide to continue so you’ll only have to upgrade a few things
Big D, I like your video. I have purchased several of the items you featured. That magnetic parts dish, for example is just one of those things that once you have one or more, you’ll ask yourself why you never got one sooner. I have bought some of the cooler looking ($3.99) safety glasses. I should check the ratings. Never paid attention to the ear pro, but…. I recently started teaching CCHL classes and will say that Harbor Freight Gun storage products are going to appeal to a lot more people who live pay check to pay check but still want to be part of the 2A community not to mention have the ability to defend themselves and family from the garbage the world is currently dragging in. Not to mention my own bottom line. So I appreciate your video and certainly hope that the revenues at the store where you were filming increase and the manager who kicked you out (and area manager) is aware that Big D sent ‘em.
@donaldoehl7690 in my experience the magnetism that happens to the small parts and tools isn’t an issue unless you’re dealing with something electronic.
Great video! I wasn't aware that Harbor Freight sold firearm accessories. Funny part is, early in the video I was wondering if you cleared recording in the store with management- but uh oh. lol
It's a business that has their own cameras recording you and they are open to the public so there is no expectation of privacy. Funny that he had been walking around the store for how long and nobody said anything to him but when he gets to the front of the store they give him hassle.
I love your videos. Harbor Freight has some great values for perfectly good accessories. They should sponsor you not ask you to leave. I went there after I saw a video you made. You neglected to mention the loctite. It's $2.50 for blue or red, but they call it permanent (red) and the preferred semi permanent (blue). Half what it costs in the Big hardware store. Also tape is useful. Great job. The scissors at 99 cents is a great value too.
I'm a cheap bastard. I've used a 15 year old HF muffs with some 3m plugs from home depot. The muffs are pretty low pro. Worked fine for 556 and 308. I dont see them at HF anymore.

@@bigdickballistics Picked up the ammo can and a pair of glasses too lol. The glasses weren't big enough to fit over my regular glasses, but the set of ears worked great! I have some range footage on my latest shorts of some 3D printed guns I finally go to fire when I went to the range.
I get their metal ammo cans. Also, got their rolling tool bag as my range bag. Pack everything up and roll it around. Makes going to the range easy.
Awesome!
Subscribed! You had me at the “i dont know what standard is but” moment! Rock on big dog!
Ty much sir!
I've been getting this stuff from harbor freight for decades! Lol great video brother!
Ty much!
Lol, I have been planning a Harbor freight shopping video for gun stuff…….you beat me to it!
Great minds think alike! Do it either way!
Honestly one person can’t do this video. He just gave us like a starter kit but it’s way more he didn’t even get a chance to get into so do your video as a part 2 to his so to speak. Just pick up where he left off
This was super informative. Straight to the point. And relatable
Ty much!
They also have a good knockoff FAT wrench. It's almost as much as the original, though. I think it's$80.
Their cheapo drill press does great on ÀR lowers
$6 tool box buy once cry once 😂😂😂😂😂I lost it
Hell yeah!
I get my electronic ear muffs from harbor freight. They’re a little bulky, but they’re only $20 and work freakin amazing.
You really got the stuff to mill out a 80 percent lower here ??
They also had some legit work benches too for around $150-$250
Damn. She kicked you out, and you were probably her best advertiser.
Ty! No worries I’ve been back there and no issues! Keep up the good work preserving the 2nd amendment!
Magnetic trays can magnetize parts & tools.
@donaldoehl7690 in my experience the magnetism that happens to the small parts and tools isn’t an issue unless you’re dealing with something electronic.
Those cases are great! The pistol cases and the rifle boxes are great!
Great video! I wasn't aware that Harbor Freight sold firearm accessories.
Funny part is, early in the video I was wondering if you cleared recording in the store with management- but uh oh. lol
I don't know why they would mind him filming in there. But people get weird when cameras come out.
Bruh… I just subbed because of the name of your channel. 🤣💀
💯🇺🇸🍆
Thank you for enlisting in the big dick battalion!
@@bigdickballistics amen to that brother!
Great video. I get tools regularly at Harbor freight but had definitely over looked the 2A application for a lot of items. Subscribed.
I bought case tumblers and ultrasonic cleaners for my reloading.
I can’t believe I overlooked that! Yep I get my media there as well!
@@bigdickballistics
They kicked you out before you got to that aisle. Understandable . 😁
The rock tumbler makes a great ball mill, also. I use it with 14mm florists marbles from dollar tree.
thank you sir, got serious intel, ty from co workers! and u..your changing lives!! yup keep it out of loved ones lives!!!!!!
I'm a cheap bastard. I've used a 15 year old HF muffs with some 3m plugs from home depot. The muffs are pretty low pro. Worked fine for 556 and 308. I dont see them at HF anymore.
New to the channel, been shooting now 50 years. You’re absolutely on point. But I’m actually here for your sarcasm 👍💥
Ty much!
Totally skipped over those tactical knee pads 😂
Ya I did that cause people use them mostly to get promoted at work lol 🍆💦😅
From Canada, First time seeing your awesome channel, lots of good info, keep it going !... Stay safe Brother.
Welcome aboard!
Don't forget the cheap-ass spring clamps for quick attachment of targets.
Good one brother totally overlooked that, I have a dozen and use them often!🤙🏻🇺🇸👍🏻
"You dont want hand cancer" 😂 No sir I do not want hand cancer.
👍🏻
Excellent video! Love the humor. Love the language. Keep it up! (That's what she said!)
I actually bought some of their ammo cans ad cleaning brushes. Place is great for everything else too.
100%!
The ending with the HF manager was freaking hilarious! I watched this at least three times because of the one liners if you wanna goh fuul rehtard for foir nyoty nyonine! Instant sub broski!
Just had a HF open about 4 miles away...and conveniently located near Tractor Supply (another great place to find good stuff at good prices).....Ill be going to the HF Soon ! thanks !
I got a Harbor Freight, Tractor Supply and a Rural King near me! Every time I leave the house the wife looks at me suspiciously 😆
I never thought about hitting up a Harbor Freight for some basics and those gun cases seem like they are pretty good quality. Thanks for sharing!
Love the content! Earned a Sub!!
Ty much!
I’m from Hawaii and it’s cool that you’re always doing Shaka. Aloha braddah. You’re funny 🤙🏽
The pick set is really god and universally handy. I always leave with a parts tray and pick set. I'm thinking about getting the smaller of the two shot polishers they sell. Still waiting for a store in San Mateo County so I don't have to cross a bridge to visit a store.
Awesome video my guy! Just stumbled across your channel and subscribed 🤙
You would think that they would love the free publicity and give you a discount instead of kicking you out.
I’ve gone back multiple times already and they totally forgot who I was haha
@@bigdickballisticsDeep down she wanted you to
lol it’s never the owner always someone who acts like they own it that kicks people out
LMAO. Subscribed. This video was awesome.
@@Splashdown99 ty much! Part 2 coming soon!
“Taking a friend to the range for the first time that’s a cheap mfer”……that was hilarious.
I just bought that clamshell pistol safe with the cable tether, and it’s badass! I have mine tethered to my bed frame and the safe is under the bed 😂 just like you said
@@prominence2826 great! I have 3! They are amazing! Thanks for the comment!
I have that Union safe from HF. I absolutely love it. I’m going to start getting the tools I need from here on out from Harbor Freight

You had to subscribe because he described his dick? That’s pretty gay bro.
It's not just the gun world that's expensive, it's everything now. Food, fuel, auto parts, tools, outdoor power equipment, bills, utilities, electronics, insurance, real estate, you name it!

Harbor freight is good if u kno what’s good or not. Some of their stuff is garbage. Great prices on everything
12:53 the best part about it is if you know how to adapt to your surroundings a shoelace and a piece of t-shirt cloth can be used as a boar snake
Well, that manager is not a good manager , boss man, better think twice on who they hire lots of money there lost by kicking you out . because you just reached out and advertised for harbor freight to thousands of humans which brings revenue to Harbor freight., thanks buddy , 🤙
Not breaking a sweat, Ty for the ❤️
ur the goat man i thought this was a joke but damn im picking up some of this stuff on pay day lol
Just a dude brother, thanks for the view!
Can’t believe you promote harbor freight then they kick you out and slap an add for themselves on your video 😂
