They have a video on the site that explains what the different inserts do and how to adjust for bigger versus smaller guns.

I have this case and foam and it is great. That slot in the middle that you found is for your desiccant. Look around should be a small little metal desiccant case. If you can't find it contact the seller and they will probably send one to you. I can tell you from experience if you have 6 guns loaded in this case with 21 mags plus another 6 mags in the guns for a total 27 loaded mags, that case will weigh a ton! And Lord forbid you have a bunch of steel guns in there like I do sometimes it makes for a very heavy case.

I have the Pelican case this was copied from with like 16 guns. Yeah, its heavy. The foam in mine is dice cut so can be fit to any configuration and is much softer and less abrasive than the clone.

      @@MojoPupHello my dear friend.
First of all, let me clarify my position; The problem is not just money.
Rather, it is the interest to create and build!
I hope you make millions of dollars every minute of your life; But my dear friend, when Prince Harry takes the time to build a tree house for his princely children; If he had a point of view like yours, he would definitely believe that my time is more valuable than spending several hours building a wooden hut for my 4-5-year-old child. It's new whether that cottage is liked by R Chi or not!
For my children, I can easily place an order and the most expert people can make such a wooden hut that exactly crosses my 4-year-old child's mind.
From the time I spend on building a hut, I can earn money for several huts! 😄 But we see that he did not have such a view, because his world view is different.
Don't measure everything with money and dollars!
Maybe the person who commented first and we are talking about their comment; He did not look at the issue (contrary to your personal belief and mentality!) that paying 100 or 200 dollars for such a thing is expensive; which is 100 or 200 dollars and can be spent in more important cases!
Why don't you look like this, maybe he believed that; When I can make it myself by spending an hour and enjoy both the passion of creating and the difference from people who pay the amount and order the product without thinking or a moment's hesitation.
The difference between me and that group is that I use my abilities. It seems unlikely that I have ever made something like this. What doubles my enthusiasm is that; It seems unlikely that I will need such a device for many years.
So now is an opportunity to make a device that may not be available again.
This construction; Whether it's to save for a cent, or for a few hundred or thousands of dollars!!
Dear friend, challenge, challenge and effort to create and build, even if 1 cent has material value; (For someone with a different world view than you) that 1 cent is worth billions of dollars immaterially.
Although people with the mentality I mentioned; Their measure and measure is not money or dollars!
      Time is precious.
Nothing in the world is worth time.
But why do we waste time?
Time is valuable and should not be spent in vain, how much valuable work did he do?
Make money with the time we save! 🤦🏽‍♂️😑
Well, what to do with the money?!
The whole effort of our life is to earn money and enjoy life.
For many, one of the joys of life is this kind of work. that in their free time, instead of spending time watching entertaining TH-cam videos or spending time on any other social media, they spend their time making tools or things that the only information they have is a photo; It is one-dimensional, and not in three dimensions or perspective.
I hope I was able to convey the concept.

It wasn't stored, it was loaded, I pulled it from a holster.
I store all my bolt guns uncocked.
I probably only have 2 glocks that get stored. All the rest are loaded in holsters.
AR's, most are probably hammer down, but I am not OCD on those.
Good advice though, probably best to store all firearms in a fired / Hammer down / dead condition.
