You're telling me no one has gone about on the old school house door trick of drilling a hole into the top of your average interior door to insert a money/valuables stash inside it anymore? Seriously, old school method was to drill out a section at the top of the door and insert a film tube to be glued into place since no one checks the tops of doors for anything.
My ex-mother-in-law's sister _(say that 10 times fast!)_ used to come over and swipe her hand on the tops of doors and picture frames looking for dirt and dust....She would have found it. _Needless to say, l never had her over again_
BRILLIANT IDEA. When I moved my bedroom into the former living room, I asked my carpenter to source an inexpensive but good quality SALVAGED door with leaded glass inset in a solid wood frame. He found a door, but the height was 6 inches or more shorter than the opening. I asked him if he could create a hidden compartment behind the mouldings I asked him to install. He permanantly attached a large, built up moulding on the "public" side of the door frame & added a piano hinge on the interior, using his skills as a cabinet maker to create an invisible compartment. I love hidden compartments and own numerous antiques with both origional "secret drawers/compartments" and retrofitted hidie-holes...and I have created bozh RUSTIC furniture and objects d'art (sculptures) myself MANY with hidden secret drawers. I have so many hidden compartments, and I periodically move some treasures...that it is an "adventure" locating them.
I encouraged my carpenter to photograph the "secret compartments" I commisioned him to create in my home. They are beautifully executed and fit seamlessly into the existing style of the architectural details of our older home. Were he not a beloved friend, I would not know he GETS BORED creating the flawlessly BEAUTIFUL kitchens which are the bulk of his commisioned work. He LOVED creating my atypical projects, and I figured insisting that he photograph said completed masterworks to include in his portfolio might inspire other clients to add such projects to their renovations. There is a niche for such highly skilled artisans as he...and creating a TARDIS or secret hidden doors & other projects is far more satisfying than yet another prefectly ptoportioned & exquisitely beautiful kitchen.
Do they pull off your headrest and get your $400 plus headrest and your handgun. Topless jeeps are kind of exposed to perps as your unlock your never-ready storage.
Depending on the state you live in, each hiding place for a firearm will get you arrested, and your carry license revoked. In Pa even if you have a carry permit you can not have a firearm within reach. In my case my edc is a 454 casull revolver 6.75 inch barrel, which shows a bulge with a t shirt on. So if i get the police called on me while in public the cops may ask me to conceal it better or change my edc.
In Pa the sheriff's department says with a concealed carry permit your firearm must be concealed in a way that won't cause fear or danger in the public's eyes. So by having a pistol right beside you lets say on the passenger's seat, that's not concealed. Glove compartment ok.@@murphy4yt

Just wondering if someone (a scumbag) can just walk up and pull the headrest out and be gone with it. Also legally can you keep a loaded firearm in it?
Having a pistol that requires a password to access is dumbest idea in the galaxy.
leave it at home then...By the time you get ahold of it,its too late
