This is awesome! Thank you so much for making a video in VTOL VR! Like you said in another comment, it’s like we’ve come full circle. I used to watch all of your KSP vids when I made mods! It’s really amazing what you can do!
Thanks Baha! It was my pleasure, the camera tools are a blast once the workflow is tuned, really fun to work in! Plus the T-55 is such a treat to fly. Always stoked to see what your time and your efforts have in store for this marvelous game! Glad we crossed paths once again... cheers bud! 🍻🤝
DCS and Nuclear Option may be graphically impressive sure, and the Ace Combat Zero videos having that old-time video grain makes for an immersive touch, but VTOL VR's simpler art and graphics don't detract from the fact that it's the cinematography that makes every video here really worth-while. Just master-class, really. Even got the bonus of seeing some player-movement. Does make me wanna get the game, but my uncompromising flight-sickness in VR just makes every single flight-sim completely not worth any of it.
Thanks jesse, thanks for stopping by. The player movement is one of the reasons I wanted to experiement with a VTOL video, I thought it could raise the cool factor a bit. Really satisfying when I watch others on TH-cam play it with those camera views. On top of that there's the handheld camcorder which is such a unique tool in game cinematics I couldn't help but use it a lot. It's also kind of fun since I got a big start from KSP videos, which is similar graphically (stock), and now the dev of BD Armory mod is the creator of VTOL. All comes around a bit eh? Sorry about the motion sickness. It's a bummer. I defentily have a headache for a day or so from the jerky neck motions when I hop into VR after a while haha. Thanks bud
I find VTOL VR to be one of the least motion sick inducing games on my headset personally. Fps games get me the most. Your body doesn't have to move in VTOL-VR so it helps a lot hehe. Just don't get in the back of the 2-Seater lol.
@@Vespyr_ yep, I can barely stand playing HL Alyx because your movement has no inertia for whatever reason, but flight and racing sims are fine for me, at worst needing a one day warmup for my brain to get used to VR again
@@Vespyr_yeah it’s really weird. Flight games like AC7’s VR mode or this I can play all day, but I can’t play Minecraft in VR for more than 15 minutes without feeling nausea
It just shows how important cinematography and composition are in storytelling. The people who make films and videogames these days are so preoccupied in making everything so flashy and photo realistic that they forgot that the things they make are first and foremost mediums of storytelling.
it was a nice touch using music from the AC VR mode for a video about a VR game I sure wish AC7's VR mode was multiplat as it blows project wingman out of the water despite only having three missions
Nassault does it again! You pulled off some impressive cinematic shots despite VTOL VR's seemingly limited camera toolset. I'm hoping the mission editor gets more flexibility and unit variety in future updates, although I'll admit that I haven't messed with it much personally. I've already seen mission creators make some hugely impressive things in VTOL, like recreations of iconic Ace Combat superweapons. Definitely check out Legendairy's Ace Combat 6 Chandelier missions: The first time I saw that thing up close in VR, I could hardly focus on the mission 'cause I was freaking out about how cool it was that they essentially built it out of buildings and other stock assets. Thanks as always, and I'm looking forward to your future videos!
I always thought VTOL VR would be some super simple, low quality VR game like a lot of them are, but your video made me realize that despite it's more simplistic graphics, it's a pretty cool-ass game. Really makes me want a VR setup even more. Always been a huge fan of your stuff dude, keep it up. Anyways, I've rewatched this video like 20 times by now, so it's only fair I leave a comment to appease the engagement gods o7.
I was surprised that Nassault came to the VTOL VR ! I'm always watching your videos! Of all the F-2 style liveries, this is my favorite. I use this all the time when I fly my T-55!
As always, the cinematography is absolutely on point. Thank you for the beautiful short film. I'm quite excited for when I finally get my new PC built sometime next month, then I can finally play this game!
Excellent work, as always. I particularly enjoyed the more frenetic feel of this one, as well as the more traditional wide angle shot after the missile kill and before the gun kill.
As someone who began flying in VTOL VR back when there were a handful of missions and only the AV-42C (and later did voice acting for it, too) I’m glad VTOL VR’s been growing in popularity over the years! I’ve always loved seeing your cinematics, and I admit I’d love to see more VTOL from you in the future, sometime!
I recall sending you a question about if the F-2 RWR would sound the same as the F-16 for a project of mine and you dropped a whole ass cinematic to answer this question. Based work as always, lad. Well done.
I watched the first 5 seconds of low audio shaky menus on my phone, CLOSED that shit quick and KNEW I had to watch it on the big screen once I got home! The title could be "Minecraft - My First Day" if it's posted by Nassault I'm watching it in theaters only. Instant Classic! Continue to be great/do great! Agree with other comments, the emotion/capture of the pilots compared to the more stiff capture from DCS is a game changer (though your edit ins are crazy good). All the love brother.
Can't wait for a video of yours featuring an Ace Combat X's mission. We need to retake Griswall and kick some Leasath's ass! Great video btw, keep it up!
The aircraft's motif is definitely TF-50N, how adorable! Good work 🇰🇷🇺🇸🇯🇵 Plus: The aircraft has 'two' air intakes, a sharp tip of the nosecone, 'one' engine and a blended-wing body as you dudes can see. Then it must being motivated from T-50 series. CAVSA FINITA.
Wow, incredible! This is the first time that I have heard of you, I have some video watching to do! Would I be out of line to ask what mods you use for cameras and camera control? Thank you.
Thanks Ken! I just used the S-Cam tools with various settings, such as viewing the target in FlyAlong with shallow FOV, around 15 with auto FOV enabled and disabled, etc. So just play around it's all included :)
How long did it take you to draw the roads on this map? thats a heccin lot. im surprised theres no broken polygons, anytime i try making complex road networks it starts to break.
😮 given your skill level when vital you are now 😮 a national security list you've been placed on a watch list if you go anywhere near a military base with an f-15 you'll be shot on sight😮
Just when I start rewatching the Ace Combat cinematics. Couldn’t be happier.
Same dude. The timing.
@@TheOfficial007 Thanks guys!

I love the Japanese F-2. One of the coolest camos ive ever seen and it looks soo good on the F-16 frame
This is the best VTOL Cinematic I've ever seen
I wonder what’s possible now that clouds/weather have been added?

I've been playing VTOL VR for years now!! So glad to see you making something with it.
It's one of a kind! Such a great package of a VR sim.
Wow! This is simply amazing. It can't have been easy trying to get all of those shots using the S-Cam. That dogfight scene was incredible!
"Scramble!" Was a god tier music choice for this. It's really cool.

Thanks schultz! I really appreciate it. Enjoy the rest of your week bud
Killer vid as always
Always appreciated coming from you Haechi! 🎥
oh that’s just beautiful gameplay
Further proof that vision is more important than realistic graphics. VTOL does look amazing though, nice work :)
The King stomps again

man I hope they use the AC7VR soundtracks again in the next game, in a mode all players can enjoy
This really flowed very well and really draws you in. The incoming missile near the end (2:10) was really heart stopping
Kickass!!!

BABE WAKE UP NASSAULT POSTED
Amazing as always. I've been a fan of your work for ages, and I honestly wish I could make machinima of the grade you can.
Absolutely fantastic!
Another beautiful video
Side note: it scares me how much of an effort that a pilot must go through, fighting fear to not die or pull away
This is fucking amazing

All targets confirmed destroyed. Nassault 1, RTB.

Love the T-55 Tyro
Awesome video!!! 👍🏾
thanks tiemji!! ✈️
The reason we keep coming back
Love the goofy VR avatar.
Nassault try not to make a fucking masterpiece challenge (impossible)
Guys, that's not F-2. It looks like FA-50 from ROKAF.

Hell yeah, more flightsim join the rank
Nice Jets.
Low poly cinematic
*Hell yeah*
noice
BGM 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
Do you have any idea what kind of happy chemicals were exponentially multiplied just from the synchronization of the scene and the music?
Okay fine I'll buy this game
I am fucking into this
Only suggestion I'd make- you can lower the visors on the helmets, that feels less like Slendyboi is in the cockpit
If you ever need a wingman in this lemme know! Stealth EW tomcat for daysssss
oh my dawg

You have got to try the VTOLVR ace combat 4 campaign assuming you haven't already, it's incredible
I'd also suggest the AC:X campaign, follows it real well
