Correct for everything except the last part. This is the non clickable a-10a which is simpler than even su-25t. It is undeniably easier to pilot and you can't accidentally fuck up your trim with autopilot (no un-trimming lol). Su-25t has more cool toys though and is overall more capable

Okay, but A-10A is one of the little kid modules to put it into terms similar to the ones that made you try it in the first place. You need to experience something that's not from the flaming cliffs package like the A-10C if you want to get the full enjoyment of the warthog stick, but also the F-18, F-16, F-5 are other good options if you're planning to stick with jets with english cockpits that are easy to learn, as those are actually closer to VTOL VR with clickable cockpits, and you should try them in VR. Also, in reference to the "ease of use" issue you mention in the description, it's really a whole different story when you can operate the plane from inside the plane instead of having to use random keybinds for everything
Shut up. Flaming cliffs is love and he is a beginner anyway. Its the best stuff for beginners. If you ever had vr you would know that clicking switches with vr is terrible. And flaming cliffs has the best fps in vr too. Other modules sometimes dipping into unplayable figures with vr

@@Adelic1 Right now im trying to learn how to fly the AH-94 which im noticing is extremely difficult. So if you have any good advice then thatd be greatly appreciated!
Started playing dcs about a month ago. I only use the free mustang cause of like old planes more than modern ones. I have a landing success rate of about 0.2%. But at least i am now pretty competent at turning it on, taking off and cruising around. I did the 14days trial of the weaponized version and had a lot of fun on dogfights. Will eventually buy it but I’m happy to just fly around. Maybe when i stop f-up landing i might buy it.
Right when you said you got to experience the clouds youtube couldn't load the video fast enough and I got a bunch of loading screens but I thought it was your game XD
I recommend doing the training and looking at the manual before jumping into any real mission let alone a multiplayer server. Unless in a private game, don't shoot down your teammates even if you are friends because, in real servers, you will get kicked. Especially in that F-18 taxiing situation, doing things like exploding on purpose can get some people mad and could have gotten you kicked if you hit him. You also can play dcs in VR (I think its the best way personally) Edit: I have been made aware that the words above may construct the wrong message, so for previous and new readers. In no way should you completely read the manual for any airframe you wish to fly. There is a man named Chuck who makes excellent guides on each airframe in depth. Looking at the manuals/chucks guide provides a non-anecdotal source of information that can be used in the long run. Many times have I searched up videos for help and found nothing on the topic, but I have found it in the manuals.
Sad you have to add a disclaimer. I have been in DCS for well over 10 years. I have reached the point of the more stricter servers. There are some that just don't joke around. If you just knick the paint of a friendly aircraft you are booted. If you don't call your airbase intentions you get smashed. I recently went back on to the Grim Reapers servers (always a fallback fun place) and instead of flying missions I ended up being the flight instructor for an Apache. Help a guy in the UK learn how to operate it. But their one server is setup to learn the aircraft and make mistakes. Plus there is always someone willing to help you. But that's the reason for that one and a lot of the people I fly with I met through that server. Then you branch out to others servers. The 107th servers are really good. They actually made the mission that are ran on many others servers. Just slight changes here and there. It is great you have servers to choose from that are at whatever level you're at.
@@CueDriver Yeah, I have been flying with the 107th for about 6 months now in their libs and their big missions. I think the more realistic the gameplay/scenarios are the more fun they are to fly. I'm not claiming to be a networking genius but most games allow you to create a coop server and play with your friends without dishing out your public IP to everyone involved. if those servers are true p2p instead of being hosted (or proxied) by some dedicated servers, then every instance of the game connected to the lobby will know the IP. Often that's not interesting to the players so the user interface doesn't show it, but it takes about 30 seconds for anyone who wants the IP to find it. Not showing the IP will hide it from youtube/streaming/etc. but not other players Since their inputs/game state has to reach you, they need to know what address to send game updates to. The only way around it is a dedicated server that will forward packets on the player's behalf without them having a direct way to communicate
Quick question how may ovther Flight sims/games have you played before? Like DCS took me 2 hours to figure out after being a virtual pilot for 20 somthing years... Which Vtol VR I have not deared to try dogfighting in yet at 1 hgour 40 minutes played. As I can bearly start and fly the plane and there is no start in flight option most sims have and I have flown VR only in MSFS 2020 and DCS! Like something about having a fake controls is off for me... Though I have to admit Hand/finger tracked with quest 3 virtual desktop was alot of fun and may get me to fly VOTL VR more...
I have like 200 hours in VTOL and like to fly the jets/planes in Battlefield 4/1/5 but I guess those doesn't really count as a sim lol. MSFS looks cool but it doesn't simulate any air combat so I don't really care a whole lot and I haven't given into War Thunder yet. Some VTOL missions will start you in the air, some wont. The startup and weapon systems for VTOL are pretty straightforward. Takes like 15 seconds once you understand. My discord is just "adelic" if you want any help. Feel free to add me.
There's a huge market for gamers who just want an awesome flying experience without learning how to fly IRL. DCS needs a straight up arcade mode with VR cockpit interfaces. Or VTOL needs a high fidelity texture pack lol. Somewhat basic graphics aside the game is incredible for pickup and play.
Yeah there's a wide open space in the market for a somewhat great flightsim/flightsimlite. War Thunders monetization is awful, playing DCS feels like using office software from 2008, and VTOL is great but requires a PC and VR headset, and isn't the most visually appealing to the average gamer. Nuclear Option looks like it could take up this space. I haven't tried it yet but it looks kinda like VTOL but for PC.
I dont know if its just me but when i played dcs the graphics were garbage i have a great graphics on games like gta, ready or not, vtol vr, ect even when i boost the graphics up all the way the words on the tutorial (the words that tell you what the switches do) were completely blurry anyone know how to fix?
DCS is amazing but after getting spoiled by full VR support in VTOL I was dedicated to play DCS in VR. If you want to do so you just need a multi-thousand dollar rig and setup not counting the PC. Even then the VR implementation is just really poor. So I ended giving up as I’m not that dedicated and it was a worse experience in VR with my current setup.
Yeah VTOL is just a overall better experience in my opinion. Sure it's not as in depth, but it's still pretty in depth while also not wasting too much of your time. Easy to play with friends, way cheaper, etc. DCS is fun, but the user experience just isn't there.
@@Adelic1 Ahh, yeah I get 90fps haha. 4090 and varjo aero. It's really incredible in a high end headset and rig. Probably not worth the money unless you're really into it though.

DCS has vr cockpit interfaces
@@sugger727p4 can you play on VR without a joystick? Vr joystick?
@@mikec1554 yes, (i wouldnt recommend it tho). Its in the vr options with the hand controller settings
@@sugger727p4 right on thanks for responding so fast!
(8:17) This scream fucking sent me 😂😂
great , Now WAR THUNDER
I will not give into the snail
The 🐌 is Already in your 🧠, you can't defeat him 😈
@@KORO_THUNER NOOOOO GET OUT OF MY HEAD
DCS is definitely not an arcade game that you can just step into.
I dont know if its just me but when i played dcs the graphics were garbage i have a great graphics on games like gta, ready or not, vtol vr, ect even when i boost the graphics up all the way the words on the tutorial (the words that tell you what the switches do) were completely blurry anyone know how to fix?
you make me feel like maverick
I envy you for only needing 160 gigs for dcs. once you realise that the maps are all 80+ gigs you start to question your life choices
@@Adelic1 yeah
the a1o c 2 is more fun, but turn up the head phones when you fire the gun, trust me
lmao you didnt even get the full module for the plane. You got the watered down kid version
Yeah. VR is the best in DCS thou. lol.
Yeah the 5 minutes I got to play DCS in VR before taking the headset off to throw up was great. 30 fps in vr is not great
@@Adelic1 Ahh, yeah I get 90fps haha. 4090 and varjo aero. It's really incredible in a high end headset and rig. Probably not worth the money unless you're really into it though.
@@_Jake.From.Statefarm_ dayum yeah you got the VR setup of my dreams. I got a 3060ti and a Reverb G2 which isn't to shabby though. Going to try to get a used 4080 for a good price whenever the 50 series comes out.
@@Adelic1 I just upgraded. I have a 13900KF now too. Not that long ago I had a 9700k, 2060(upgraded to a 3080 for a short time) and a Reverb G2. Was also flying with a X52, Now I got a winwing Orion2 Hotas too. Def a big upgrade. Nicest system I've owned so far..
@@_Jake.From.Statefarm_ bro the nicest system? that's pretty much as good as it gets lmao
whos gonna tell him he couldve just used a vr headset for facial tracking
oh I was aware i just didn't feel like playing VR at IMAX framerates
Subbing cause this was rlly funny
vtol vr has clouds now 🥵
(in public testing)
anyone else annoyed how his subscribe ratio doesnt work because it adds up to 101%
Why does he sound like elmo when he is laughing 😂😂😂
alright listen here pal
@@Adelic1 😂 no u the other chill 🤣
Made the video so much funnier 😂
Even without elmo it would’ve been a banger. Atleast he doesnt sound mentally retarded like i do when i laugh 😂
4:05 change to another a 10 role because the positions are different
Great video... But FC3 planes are not really the full painfull experience...
This isn't even the full version of the A10, it's the easy version.
precisely why I chose it lol
it was also cheap
Now that VTOL is getting clouds back in the beta, I guess DCS is literally pointless now lol
Great video! but by the way you cannot rearm and fl3 aircraft while the canopy is down you can however rearm and full fidelity modules while the canopy is down
Rookie mistake #22 that I made.
Incorrect. Either your canopy needs to be open or your radio needs to be on. Otherwise the ground crew won't be able to hear you.
Full fidelity aircraft can rearm/refuel while engine on thought while FC3 aircraft can't.
