I mainly blame the parents for there children looking upset when they don’t win. Those parents are just viciously living through there kids to the point where they feel like they need to win. It’s disturbing.
I was just gonna comment she kinda looks like my little girl she that age now has glasses too. But she also has kinda same facial features and eyes, only my kid has auburn hair some freckles. My husband is half German and half Scottish so she definitely took after him. But my dad also has fair skin and some freckles so she might taken after my dad as well. That little one seems so sweet too.

Glad I didn't go that route as a child , glad I decided I wouldn't put my children in that specific limelight either. Teens are one thing. Children..ehh. Watching this show for example , especially being in the medical field in multiple fields , showed me how harmful they can be to children in specific.

I have a feeling the pageant organises the tan and makeup, at least in some cases? I saw another video (dad-daughter duo) where the girl’s makeup artist said how she had also done a good few other kids’ makeup so she was running late, and when the dad went to the organiser they apologised and confirmed the girl wouldn’t be penalised for being late because of it. I’m guessing this competition had the same kind of thing going on where they had people arranged to do hair and makeup, which was why the mother was a bit lost with it all.

Her brother killed her. That wasn’t any adult that done that, look into the documentaries on her, evidence is stacked on her brother. Although I do agree that pageants need to be abolished - there’s a difference between doing them for fun, & being competitive. Letting little girls dress up is different to troweling on make up, fake tans, & reducing them to tears because they can’t take the pressure from not winning ‘the grand prize’. Nauseating, & incredibly damaging to their self image over time.

What are the parents and workers thinking? I don’t think fake tanning a child is even legal in Britain. Most beauticians would refuse to do any of these treatments and make overs. Why you would deliberately exploit children in this way is beyond me? Of course the children are attracted to all the glitz and glamor but they are so innocent. I just don’t get how parents get away with this kind of grooming? I would imagine that the make up and fake tanning are not that good for a child’s skin. The fake eyelashes are a potential disaster to their eyesight if something goes wrong. The poses are almost suggestive. Please do not subject and encourage your children in this way, at least not at these tender age groups. I think it is disgusting.

She's so sweet and cute just the way she is. It seems a shame to change her into something she isn't. I'm sure judges want to see their eyes but I worry that stigmas like this make other kids worry that one is not attractive if they wear glasses :/

I'm waiting for the day a little girl says her ambition is to be her own boss, a nurse, or role model. Anything that makes them strong, independent intelligent young women & grounded adults. That's real beauty.
Isabella is adorable. She reminds me of Molly from the American Girl dolls with her little glasses. She and Alessondra were two of my favorites because they looked like actual little girls and not overly plasticky.

Fake tanning is legal, Child ballroom dancers get fake tans - it is just fake tan, after all. However, ballroom dancing is a sport, pageants are not!
