there is a full clip of that. It wasn't so bad. It was just a punishment for liking the word "no" too much. Punishments aren't meant to be nice or they don't work. @@MsJubjubbird The way the mother handled that situation is going to put deep psychological stress and or trauma in the kid. The child was a three year old who didn't wan't to do a couple exercises. I can’t wait for in about 10-15 years or so these kids are going to be ruined. The parents are horrible and the people who MAKE A LIVING OFF OF KIDS SUFFERING (reminds you of something doesn’t it?) should PAY. I’m a kid. My best friend went into the pageant world and came out emotionally scarred. They need to stop. Because there are two outcomes to this, a kid gets super bratty and spoiled and can’t survive in the real world, or they are depressed. It’s horrible, just horrible. Also making kids look like adults is just pedo fule. Not good
When you have a group of kids testing together they're going to influence each other. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them faked not being able to see the chart because the girl in front of her couldn't see it and she wanted the same kind of attention.
I love how she’s wearing sample glasses. Like during the interviews she’s wearing glasses that aren’t hers they literally still have the brand sticker in them 😂😂😂
So spend thousands on a pageant but it took the pageant coach to realize these little ones needed eye exams. Sacrificed healthcare for pageants. Only of them didn't need eyeglasses.
From someone who doesn't do pageants; Everyone's getting on her about contacts, but I had a girl in kindergarten who had contacts & that was 20yrs ago & I think those are enhancers as far as the color goes. Also the girls aren't doomed, one of her students stopped once she got to high school & got more into sports.
That mother at the beginning literally just traumtized her daughter. Locking a child in a room while she screams her mind out is creating life long anxiety scars for that poor child.
That tiny little exhausted 3 year old child was absolutely terrified locked in that strange room. She was clawing under the door screaming, “I want my Mama”, for God’s sake. I’m all for disciplining children. But that was not discipline. It was abuse.
oh most three year olds act like that when they don't get their own way. They are quite the little performers. There was a kid in the department store that was even more melodramatic last week because she wanted to go home instead of waiting for her sister to try on school shoes. By the sounds of the mother's interview it was the first time she heard the word "no" so she was probably in a bit of shock and was going to do whatever it took to have her mother reconsider this new discipline thing
I think it’s such a shame the focus was placed on contacts because I love that a pageant coach working with children notices a problem with eyesight and is happy to help address the issue - but it’s really sad to see that instead of showing glasses are beautiful she’s focused on hiding the need for them
I don’t think she has a problem with glasses per say as you can see some of the kids with glasses but I think she’s probably thinking more for the pageant where glasses aren’t going to be an option especially at pageant only judging facial beauty because then they can’t see the kids eyes I mean the coach herself had glasses on
changing eye color is so unnecessary. she already said the judges would be far away & even the close in zoom when she put the contacts in _barely_ made a difference.... i'm sure cambrie hustled these stupid parents out of more money than it was worth for these appointments lol
Yes, like the other replies say, it's not uncommon. I'm a gymnastics coach for ages 5 to 13 and we spend lots of time developing strength and shapes so they can do these sorts of moves. Every athlete progresses at their own pace though. I began competing a roundoff back handspring back tuck when I was eight, like many of my then peers.
These poor babies. They're children and they should be doing kid stuff. Not stuff that makes them cry and stuff that won't benefit them in the future. These poor kids have such horrible parents
When I was in the car and I played this without headphones my eleven year old sister had a comment she wanted me to share . “ when I saw the headshots I was like wow , Barbie’s less fake then them “ . I am dying 💀
When I was a dancer there were so many girls who had to wear glasses or their performance would suffer, but glasses are hard to keep on while you're dancing. That being said they're so young...
@@ashlynnheller8400 Anyone under the age of 12 years old is too young to be wearing contacts. If you're eyesight is already less than perfect you're going to require vision correction for the rest of your life. You're going to do more harm than good to your eyes by wearing contacts already. Wear glasses and show some self confidence in your true looks. I have fitted many beautiful young women with glasses and they look every bit as amazing wearing glasses as do without them.
Can't imagine a Coach telling me to put my three year old in time out for being tired you can't expect a child that young that hasn't fully developed a frontal lobe that helps you control your emotions to be okay with that much discipline and pressure and notbreak down you can't punisher her for that. She needed her mom to confront her and a nap not a time out. This is sad to watch. Also I can count 3 complexes that she could give these girls in just a few minutes.
My mom instincts wanted to swoop in and help that poor 3 year old who was locked in that room. I just wanted give her a hug and help her work through that emotion. Little kids don’t know what to do with big feelings.
three year olds have pretty basic feelings- I don't wanna and the whole world is going to know it until i get my own way. They just escalate their reaction to try and get what they want, especially if the discipline thing, which isn't meant to be fun, is new to them. Then why not try their luck to see how serious this new regime is? They're usually fine and it's just a performance. I just think such a structured environment is not great for a three year old. Maybe half an hour of fun interactive lessons and then there needs to be time to play and be creative. The actual pageants are the worst for kids this age because they wake up early, have to sit still for an hour and then perform all day- often into their naptime.
Thinking the same thing. I played up my poor eyesight as a kid because I wanted glasses. I really DID need them, but the Dr caught on to my BS acting like I was literally blind and I was given the correct Rx lol

A few things: 1. Anyone notice that smooth hair flip transition from recording to individual interview with the coach at the beginning? 2. Halee’s mom gave some serious Jabba the Hut vibes in her interview
Its not the fact that Hallee doesnt know the days of the week that bothers me. She’s still young. Its the fact that she says she doesnt need to know it.
i don't think that's an issue. i used to think I didn't need to know my times tables when I was her age. Kids can't see how information and skills are connected. The concerning bit would be if her parents encouraged and reinforced that outlook.
When your mom yelled at you or your siblings(if you have any) did she tell you guys to go to your room and not come out or put you in time out and not let you come out bc it’s the same thing as leaving a child in a room

Contact lenses require METICULOUS hygiene, which toddlers are unable to maintain. Giving them contact lenses at this age is not safe. I got contact lenses at age 13, but I could maybe understand it for age 11. But not this young. This is not safe for the children.

Girl: "I want to be miss universe"
Miss universe: "So you have chosen death"
I think it’s such a shame the focus was placed on contacts because I love that a pageant coach working with children notices a problem with eyesight and is happy to help address the issue - but it’s really sad to see that instead of showing glasses are beautiful she’s focused on hiding the need for them
If that makes sense
I don’t think she has a problem with glasses per say as you can see some of the kids with glasses but I think she’s probably thinking more for the pageant where glasses aren’t going to be an option especially at pageant only judging facial beauty because then they can’t see the kids eyes I mean the coach herself had glasses on
changing eye color is so unnecessary. she already said the judges would be far away & even the close in zoom when she put the contacts in _barely_ made a difference.... i'm sure cambrie hustled these stupid parents out of more money than it was worth for these appointments lol
