I agree. This one I’m not mad at. Parents aren’t yelling at her or bribing her to do anything, she’s getting pampered and seems to be genuinely enjoying herself
Yeah idk, I would’ve loved getting dressed up as a kid all glitz and glamor. Builds confidence too. It’s just some of the outfits are inappropriate and the flippers/tanning and stuff is over the top
Well there’s something off with the dad. I just feel he’s a little too into it and this can build insecurities over time when she is constantly being judged for her looks and even how she looks in a swimsuit.. at 4 years old. So there’s that.
How cute is she and the parents what a good dad I love how he said just have fun! That should be the only reason for this and making her feel like a princess instead of forcing her
I did pageants when I was a teenager. This was back in the early 90s. There were no bathing suit competitions, cause we were minors. Just causal wear and formal wear. And the little girls didn't wear makeup. They had to be naturally pretty. Man, I miss that shit. I'm glad I stopped doing pageants when I turned 15. Watching this stuff skeeves me out, but it's like a train wreck, it's hard not to watch.
I used to spend 5 hours at the hair salon sometimes when I was a little girl. I wish I would have a spa treatment. I don't agree with pagents, but I don't think it is nothing wrong with pampering your kids. It can make them feel special and teach them early to take care of their skin.
Yeah they weren't doing anything crazy, just multiple of services in one day. Having your kids nails painted and hair done at 4 years old isn't that weird (the massage and facial seem like a bit of a waste of money, but if the kid likes it and you can afford it go off I guess).
Nothing wrong with adult pageants, because they're not harming anyone, and the contestants can decide for themselves whether to do them or not, so don't be judgmental about those...the child ones on the other hand, we agree there
This is fine because there’s no force it seems as long as they keep that up and make sure she is happy and not forcing it then this is awesome hopefully they don’t change that
Personally I don’t think this lifestyle is good at a young age considering the fact that she has to walk on stage and have her body examined by judges who then may inadvertently tell her that she looks inferior to other girls, plus it’s not good for her to grow up like this obsessing over her looks.
yall whats wrong with her father trying to support her, i mean there are other kids on this show who actually express how much they do not want to participate and i get that but this little girl obviously enjoys and likes pageants and if I were her I would be thankful to have a dad that supported me.
Ok, alot of you are tripping. Not like she's getting a tan [fake or real]. Her parents, mom mostly, is with her during each step, and the Salon tech's are serving her cookies and juice. And did you see their garage?! Filled with power wheels and dolls, etc. This is one aspect of her life. And the girl loves it! And I have seen little girl's with supportive parents that stop doing parents altogether because the kid is done with it.
The dad: "Beauty for me is inner. I'm not a superficial person, you know..." Also the dad: puts his 4 year old daughter in a spa for 5 hours then dresses her up to look like a porcelain doll when walking the stage where her visuals are judged by random strangers.
yk ppl put their children in this to gain confidence right? and he stated he put her in the spa so she can relax and she likes it and feels like a princess just say ur jealous and move on
At the end it proves they didn’t teach her to be a brat but whatever she got to be happy. She isn’t being forced to do them because she looks so filled with life and happy up there
No hate but this isn't what I would support. Also please don't 'use' your kids for dreams u couldn't pursue when u were younger.... especially pageants and stuff..... really heartbreaking
What about Dads trying to live vicariously through their sons by pushing them into football & baseball? I mention sons, not implying that daughters can,t play sports, just as having a son & being male yourself you may want to push that on your son just because. If they really want to instill confidence in their daughter, still being very young, enroll her in karate, martial arts classes. By ten years old she,ll be a strong confident pre teen.
