The Ohio river has some great flatheads if your ever around the area and pulling them from a spillway threw current is one heck of a good fight! Seen ones close to 70 lbs on more then one occasion
My one and only flathead came out of this canal, but way farther east. It was only a pound and caught on a night crawler. My buddy pulled a 25lb grass carp out of it also on a crawler.
