Awesome seeing them fish all stacked in one spot. I am the opposite when it comes to temperature tolerance. I've seen 100+ degrees in Canada but most often it's 80-90 degrees Fahrenheit but with 90% humidity. Humid heat is far worse. My comfort zone is closer to freezing point lol. I don't travel south in winter, I travel north in summer. I just missed a heat wave when I was up in the Arctic for 10 days. It was nice! 😂

I totally meant to test the water temperatures when I was there but if I had to guess I would say easily 80° considering our swimming pools here can get up to 95 and more during peak summer. That’s why all of the fish hang out by running water since it’s so much cooler, next summer when it gets like 115 outside I’m definitely gonna check water temps out of curiosity. Thanks for watching!

I'm out here all the time fishing canals and golf courses in Phoenix wondering how you guys are holding up. Me, I just spend about 10 dollars or more a day on water. And I got this reflective sunhat that I found at goodwill that I'm pretty sure is for kids and makes me look like a complete tool.
🤣🤣🤣 I wasn’t always like this. Back in high school I did track and cross-country, we trained every Monday Wednesday and Friday the entire summer basically just running miles and doing drills. After a whole summer of that standing in the heat is nothing haha

It did overheat a couple times while filming, but I’ll get my shirt wet and hold it over the GoPro to keep it cool in between stuff happening. My big camera has never overheated on me before surprisingly just the GoPro. Thanks for watching!
Abt the mirror carp here in AZ. Ive caught more mirror carp here in AZ that look like commons, compared to how their supposed to look. I caught multiple mirrors and commons in a neighborhood pond in Ocotillo, and all the mirrors were shaped just like the commons.

Starts at the river ends up in a canal and then the golf course pulls from the canal. The specific canal it pulls from is underwater and therefore unable to be fished, so the golf course ends up with a lot of fished that haven’t been caught before 🔥

Also my hate for them isn’t how they fight it’s that certain times of the year you literally can’t keep them off your hook when you’re fishing for other stuff like bass or carp or catfish. Also they have spines everywhere and always find a way to poke me haha

@@FishingWithPorter here's a tip for overheating so it never overheats. Use a USB pass through door and connect the GoPro to a power bank and just Velcro the power bank to your chest mount voila no more overheating. Overheating is due to the batteries. When plugging it into a external battery source it sends the heat to the battery pack and it doesn't overheat the power bank.
@@FishingWithPorter I won't buy another GoPro I hate rearranging my files when editing the videos. GoPro never renewed the firmware that reorganizes the files so editing started to take a bit longer because of this. DJI and ace pro don't do this.
@@FishingWithPorter That will be the single handedly reason why I make the switch but also for the 1" sensor size which is freaking huge the quality of image is substantially better. I'm done with GoPro since they don't want to renew that firmware cheap fucks lol

Worms will survive the heat for a few hours, just not for an extensive period of time. Mark has reused worms like weeks apart despite being in the sun a lot and still be alive haha. Another reason is we’re already carrying a lot of stuff over with our camera equipment and such so we try to minimize it. Thanks for watching!

I use a DJI Osmo action camera. Doesn’t overheat. I live in Texas. Its 110 here all summer too and gopro just dont work at all when it gets above 90.

In the Mountain desert valleys of British Columbia Canada it hit 121 degrees three years ago ,And this was in prime Trout fishing areas

I feel that I’ve been wanting to upgrade but I’ve got 11 batteries as well and have GoPro figured out haha. It just sucks how it overheats so easy

Question for you and Mark, why don't you keep your worms in a 9 qt. Igloo ice chest? You can keep cold drinks in it too. That it'll keep alive till you get home and put them in fridge till next time. Ice at McDonald's is only 99 cents.
Worms will survive the heat for a few hours, just not for an extensive period of time. Mark has reused worms like weeks apart despite being in the sun a lot and still be alive haha. Another reason is we’re already carrying a lot of stuff over with our camera equipment and such so we try to minimize it. Thanks for watching!

@@ericminniear8130 the all black is a dumb decision but I don’t have any colored long sleeves, but long sleeves is important when you’re out in the sun as much as me. Same reason all landscapers and construction workers are out wearing long sleeves, the sun on your skin is brutal, skin cancer is no joke and the sunburns I get even with sunscreen are pretty brutal.
