Amigo! Great video! Always good to see a new upload 🙏🏼. Keep it going man hope to fish one of those canals soon. I go to Phx often but never fished there before. Since I started watching your videos I’ve been interested in fishing out there lol saludos de Albuquerque New Mexico
Weird coincidence I caught my first flathead in a city canal last month! Small guy but the fight compared to a channel was a nice change. Glad you didn’t lose your pole lol
@@TheFishinMagician20 I have an old fishing cooler that I drilled a hole in the side for the bubble aerator and I use it for harvesting Crawdads out of the irrigation ditches here in Colorado.
One time we were fishing on the river and kept getting real light bites for about 45 minutes. It’s real light bites finally caught couple of them. They were about 3 inch long sheep head.
We really enjoy your city videos, but being in the middle of nowhere definitely seems relaxing as well. When you sneezed my lady from the other room and me where I'm at in chorus said bless you lol. It's amazing the funny looks we get when doing that in public. People these days just aren't accustomed to common courtesy. Not in my part of the world anyway. We'll be out there in November, and watching your videos makes me want to put a fishing pole in my carry-on.
Right on man!! Bro I've been scouting places also. Can't wait to hit the areas I've pinned. Good hook ups and the flatheads. For the crawfish... I think I would give them a good rinse and boil them up.. 😁. Hope to run into you about there sometimes.. keep up the good work and videos!
Nice video always fun to watch learn something new every video u do also just an idea u should look in to takedown rod holders I have a pair of them and I haven't lost a rod once again awesome video
when I work a lot and cant fish. I go on youtube and watch others fish lol . I enjoy your content. I was in Yuma last year and killed it. But it was 115 or better outside.
Those spillway areas of canals can be goldMines if you hit them right! In the West Valley one day, I threw a crank through a spillway and just missed a huge striper.. like he hit the crank and jumped out the water to spit it 😮💨😮💨🥺
That was DOPE!!! I caught a micro flathead on a worm the other day fishing for gills. Always cool to catch a flathead no matter the size. They are the best! You are sounding a bit like the 618 guy when you are hooking them. Hahhaaa😂 (dangit)!, oh my gosh!
Hey my friend Magician, well I'll be coming that way in 2 weeks and would love to go trout fishing with you... As I do not know where to go there in Arizona... I will be a lost soul in a new place... lol thanks for sharing this video...
Could you please add maps to your videos for those not familiar with the areas you fish on so we can see what you mean when you say "Out here in the middle of the desert"
Two flathead is crazy. I always catch flatheads but never too in that amount of time it takes me like two hours just to catch one and then another hour later. I just catch another one. It would be great if you could try to throw a swim bait.
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOMETOWN AHAHA. I've tried fishing this exact place before without any luck. I always end up going to the phoenix area.
nice video , i still watch your videos bro, the DMV and myself mis you, maybe you can move back soon if it works out, how close are you too the barlet lake where the Arizona state record flathead was caught ? maybe you can fish its tail waters and try catch a big one
@@TheFishinMagician20 That is awesome, yeah after watching this video I googled the Arizona state record flathead and thought that be a good spot to try, I cant wait to watch the future episode, As for DC I totally understand, the traffic is insane there. @@BestFisherman-u1c he literally did this last night with a 14 inch carp and I won’t spoil it but caught a freaking monster. Keep an eye out for the video 👀👀
Not hating but do you know how to use any artificials? Just using worms and bait. I've visited family in Flagstaff and had a great time catching pike, bass and trout on jerkbaits and swim baits. It was glorious.
No hate received man not sure if your new here, but literally last video was all artificial. I have a good balance of both artificial and bait here. i also was up in flagstaff with the pike not long ago either

Hey Mark, You can always purge crawdads over a couple days in a bucket with an aerator as long as you change the water once a day.
i may try that at some point

probably not

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe these mudcats can actually grow much bigger than the ones you caught.
AZ state records is 78lbs
lmao
@@MudcatChris That's a giant. Must have taken at least half an hour to land that.
Is this near Phoenix az?
Do you ever use a double bottom rig ? You can use it with a bobber too no sinker
occasionally but i dont find it makes much difference unless theres alot of fish
Hook the crawdad through the tail and use the entire thing.
i considered. next time
