As a hospital worker, I have to stay. I live in temple terrace but I’m working in Tampa. Sending prayers and asking God’s mercy and protection to be on all in the area!
Hi. I'm in Port Charlotte FL. My home is new construction so it's built to handle hurricanes. We have our storm shutters up. We've stocked up with food and water.

I am in North Fort Myers. We had no damage from Helene and are not evacuating for Milton. We are in Zone 4 evacuation. Going to Miami is our plan if impact point changes.
The cannot evacuate 2/3 of the State. The areas with the surge and those who are in structures that cannot withstand 110 mph winds are under evacuation orders. Roads and freeways are all packed already.
In Pinellas county and our home flooded. Lived here since 1967 and never had water even near the house. We have lost do. Ugh but at least we have a place to live. Insurance adjuster was supposed to come to the house on Wed at noon- yea right! At least we have our camping equipment at o we can cook.
Oh Mary I am so sorry! I just posted a video that talks about the insurance fraud some companies are committing you may want to watch so you can prepare before they decide to finally show up. That makes me so angry they just didn't show on you guys for your appointment!

Can you not get walking orders for your treatment? Other out of state facilities should be able to use those and move your treatment at least temporarily anyway.
Us too. We drove through today when we had to go to Springhill and it is crushing to see it. I am glad they are doing 24/7 dump sites right now. If you guys have stuff in your yard you can go to the landfill for free. Citrus Country announced it is free and 24/7 so we can all prepare for Milton.
@@Adventureswithbecky We were very lucky and didn’t have any flooding or tree branches down on our property, we’ve lived in Citrus for 30 years, and it’s heartbreaking to see the homes and peoples entire household belongings piled on the streets, praying wherever it goes it’s not too bad🙏❤️
@MarketMakesByTricia I know and after Idalia last year happening again with Helene was awful. Our area rarely gets anything. They usually always go south or North. The last year sadly wasn't that way. Seeing it will continue to be a hurricane across the State and all the way out to the Atlantic is unreal.

Keep all the medical things dry and in the kayaks vacuum bags or giant gallon or trash bags. 💔❤️🩹 I am glad you have so much ready and pray it stays dry and viable!

No it was a hurricane. Reed Timmer goes over the storm records and several others did. Last time it formed in the bay and crossed over.
Driving all around 😂 turns around and complains about not evacuating because, theres no gas and you only get 10-15 mpg. Just, WOW!
