Yeah l couldn't sleep last night after watching your show l with y,all would try to leave I'm really worried for y,all be careful not to get sea water in your wounds it can make it so much worse l did see yes there is traffic but it is moving again l will be praying for y,all and yes your right l don't have home insurance either it's crazy but the only thing that matters is life please stay safe if the house starts to flood make sure to have a window open so not to get stuck in side or find one of these tall hotels with 2 or 3 story high and stay away from the windows and watch out for all the flying trash trash be careful guys and keep us all here online on how y,all are doing. Home insurance for a mass natural disaster is bull and over rated. Youll be lucky to get anything back before insurace companies go down and dig out of dodge, then theyll come back years later like they didnt just screw everyone over. 😡

Those of yall saying “wHo Tf CaReS aBoUt ThE eXcUsEs, yOu ShOuLd hAvE eVaCuATeD” need some SERIOUS help with your critical thinking skills.. IM IN ORLANDO AND WE CANT EVEN GET OUT!!! 75 has been backed up for DAYS!! Nobody is leaving at this point!! WE LITERALLY CANT!! This is isn’t just a “oh yeah we’ll just wait for rescue” situation - this is an “oh SHIT THIS IS BAD BUT WE LITERALLY CANT DO ANYTHING AT THIS POINT” SITUATION. THE MAJORITY of us don’t have the ability to just leave days or weeks before the storm - we work full time jobs and will be fired for doing so. A lot of us don’t have a CHOICE. We weren’t fortunate enough to leave before 75 was at an impasse. You aren’t moving right now if you even ATTEMPT to get on 75. Yesterday and the day prior as well. I don’t know how some of you except some 21+ million people to all have the same reactions and same ability to run from natural disasters. There are 21+ MILLION FLORIDIANS dude, and we gotta get out in just 3 days or so?.. three lane roads.. half us us can’t find gas or necessities, especially with these East Coast Port Strikes going on, so really.. what the hell are we supposed to do?!

If you havw a camper u can leave and live in it and then when the storm is over u can just move back on your land in the camper.

If i was in this situation I would of went snd bought me a tent or camper and headed out the moment i heard that helene and milton was coming. Like if you live in an area like this you should akways have an emergency bag packed so as soon as u hear the news you can get out of there within 30 min. B4 eveeyone else gets on the road. You can sleep in a camper anywhere. Walmart parking lot a rest area. You can travel to a safe area and find a koa campground. If u dont have money then sleep in your car and get a gym membership to take a shower. Better than dying. And just pray u can come home to your house in one peice.

I live in Nederland, Texas, in a non-flood area. My home had 3 feet of water from Harvey. I pay for windstorm insurance and flood insurance. You’d be stupid not to. Hurricane Delta ripped my roof off, tore my fences down, and caved in my garage door. It was all fully replaced by insurance. The $3,000 a year I pay for all the insurance is better than having to replace a $10,000 windstorm certified roof, $10,000 in fence, and $5,000 on a windstorm certified garage door. Don’t be an idiot.

Not in FL but I have been listening to your Gov for the past few days. There are massive numbers of shelters open and they are nowhere near capacity. You can stay in the nearest shelter. You don’t have to leave town.

Lived through hurricane fiona. It was cat 2 and was washing homes into the ocean. It doesnt matter how far inland u are it matters how much elevation from sea level ur on. Theyre calling for a 15 foot storm surge. If ur not 20 feet above sea level then id suggest you high tail it outta there. Unless ur ready to go for a swim ur not prepared for.

In Daytona, and let's be real there's nowhere inland to go. Even though they say I'm in Zone A I'm in one neighborhood that's out of the flood zones. Like we are good for a 12ft storm surge. Got people calling me crazy, but I'm from the West Coast of FL I've been dealing with the hurricanes for years. Feel bad for everyone here, since I moved here last week thinking I'm done with hurricanes and I bring one with me 😅

All in the line of Milton take a permanent marker and write your name. Social security number and 2 or 3 emergency contacts. Just in case they find you. It will save then the time and effort of having to find out who you are. That wind and water can carry you for miles away. I know people may say you cant put permanent marker on your skin. Yes you can. This is a must.

She's right folks when she's talking about how people relate to each other in Florida because when I was down there that's exactly the way it was. I really miss that I miss Florida I miss the people and God bless you guys down there I am so sorry that you guys are going through that and it's a miracle that I even got out almost a year ago under different circumstances obviously however I just wanted to tell everybody down in Florida that God hears your prayers he is with you keep the faith. I'm in Oregon sending you love and hugs .. praying for you all day everybody down there and everybody in this disaster on the East Coast please folks know that there are a lot of believers in Jesus here in Oregon praying for you and I am one of them.
