My epic minis get a color primer, metals & blacks, wash and based. I can't believe you did eye lenses and highlights at this scale lol it's amazing! I brought epic to make an army quick but that must take you days for large companies.

Enjoyed the vid a lot! You confused me with the Space Wolf commentary though, but I think you just mixed up the names of the paints. Russ Grey is the mid-tone, while Fenrisian Grey is the highlight colour. Still, nice job!
I spent a lot of time cleaning off the mold lines on mine (and some still showed up!). They're too obvious to me when they run down both sides of the entire body. Anyway, GW Contrast paints were a good quick solution at this scale. Would be interested if you had any good terrain recommendations. Don't have a 3D printer, and people showing painted spaghetti tins, well, they just look like painted spaghetti tins.
That’s a great point about the mold lines. I will definitely remove the mold lines when I paint my actual army of these little guys. In terms of terrain I cannot recommend highly enough “Grimdark Terrain” it’s 10mm scale but amazing none the less.
Just bought some epic scale 3D printed space marines just starting to get into the hobby always loved the lore but was scared to try painting is the fenrisian blue fenrisian Grey I’m going to do ultramarines and I picked up the starter paint kit and the vallejo paint but I can’t find fenrisian blue
For 2023; You could use Russ Grey for base, Fenrisian Grey for layer and Blue Horror for highlight, Coelia Greenshade for shade. This is from the GW color app. I hope it helps and the very best of luck with your army!
I never did like those bases. A small peg out of the feet to match a hole in the base would have made things so much easier from a painting perspective.

If you want contrast then there is no better way then priming the miniatures pure white. The whitest white colour you can find. You want it to be blinding makes the miniatures Come to life and shine like crazy and it realy enhances contrast like nothing else
For my opening and closing shot where I do my to camera dialogue I have a Sony A7 permanently set up with a teleprompter attached. For my shots of the models I have a Sony A6300 with a kit lens and a super cheap macro adapter (MEKE MK-S-AF3C) for the super close up shots. I have a Canon Vixia HF R800 with a wide angle adapter permanently set up in my airbrush booth. I do this as I don’t want to use a nice camera around an airbrush if I don’t have to. Mic is an AKG C1000s Lighting: Sidefills: 2x Newer JYLED-500s Overhead: Weeylite Ninja 300 Ring light: Kshioe

Also try to avoid mixing black as much as possible. Black just kills colours
