I owned 4 high-end Thieaudio IEMs, and unfortunately all of them had driver flex and oxidisation at the metal nozzles. I'll only reconsider this brand if they use fully resin or fully metal shells.
Wonder which 4 was it. The old Thieaudio from 4 years ago, they do have oxidize issue, but they fixed that after that whole batch. My Oracle was from the fixed batch, no issue till now. Driver flex only happened to model like the V14. Haha. Things are different now bro.. never had any flex and oxidization from any of the iem i mentioned in vixeo. You should try one.
@@jordanng5428The latest Thieaudio IEM I had was the Monarch Mk3, bought it brand new from Ethan on first day of launch. The main quality issue with their metal nozzles is that it's coated, once the coating wears off maybe from frequent tip rolling, the oxidisation would start, at that point it's irreversible. Knowing this, I babied my Monarch Mk3 from day 1, didn't even rub the metal nozzles with anything, yet it oxidised. I don't get this oxidisation issue from brands that uses stainless steel nozzles. Another issue is that its metal mesh filter is glued on the nozzles, overtime the filter would drop off as I clean the dusts off it. Also, you may not know that the bass ports also have metal mesh glued onto it, mine come off just after a week. As for the driver flex, the worst I've experienced are from Oracle Mk1 and Monarch Mk2, it would make that kind of squeaking sound upon insertion, driver flex issue is more apparent if I push the IEM deeper for better isolation. It's like the air is trapped in the IEM, perhaps due to poor design of having the bass port at the top of the shell which they corrected the design by putting the bass port at the bottom of the shell in newer IEM like Monarch Mk3. I've sold them all, my buyers all sold theirs within a week suspect it's due to the above mentioned issues. Next time if I ever buy another Thieaudio IEM I'll show you the issues at Zeppelin. (:
@@ryder9739 Any of their plastic IEM that uses metal nozzles would get the same issue, including Prestige LTD. Because their metal nozzles are coated and not stainless steel, when the coating wears off then oxidisation starts. Advise that you don't tip roll too frequently, anything that rubs the metal nozzles would eventually wears away its coating. Shame that despite its price the build quality is poor.

Does the O3 have more treble than the Xenns Top? Is the Top more reminiscent of the Hype 4 or O3 and Which if these 3 does vocals best in your opinion? 🙏🏼
H4 dont have much treble.. too safe.. O3 is reminiscent with Top but in a smoother way, the thieaudio way.
Good review. But it's not complete! You ignore fit and comfort of the IEMs, as well as eartips and cables quality.
Big disappointment the Oracle mk 3.People just wanted a tiny bit more bass punch and they did a complete different one
Heyyyyyy.. bro.. i have the same thought. Wow... Maybe it is what everyone wanted too. Too bad.. we have to live with OG Oracle bit longer.
@@jordanng5428 Manufacturers should listen the people - customers a bit MORE..or they should not use the same names..
@@jordanng54284 MORE YEARS!!! 4 MORE YEARS!!
@@jordanng5428 Maybe that's why they did not discontinue the OG Oracle, it's still competitive and they don't know how to improve on it. LOL
ThieAudio is a joke. Too many IEM'S released mostly overpriced
Nope. Find me a 9 driver tribid that sell below 999usd, and find me some 1+2+2 Tribid below 500usd.
@@jordanng5428 What's the big deal of x driver "tribid" ? Please explain.
EST drivers are really expensive. You can't really compare them to cheaper configurations like DD+BA or planar hybrid. @@alp786
@@alp7863-4 crossover points helps distinguish driver strengths and weaknesses while making sure you are not masking or phasing out sound waves. You can get depth height and width alot better with a tribrid than a single DD. I can make a 4x75watt 2 tweeter 2 midbass system and dsp in a car show you how the music was made or you can rely on a bunch of poorly placed and timed speakers in bose JBL or mark levinson system to think youre listening to music. Trust me its done for a reason and thats why the best IEM has multiple drivers and 5200$ price tag.
@@alp786 Try it out 😏. 1DD + 4BA + 4EST + 5 way crossover. Prestige LTD is no where near overpriced. It could easily go for double if you compare it to other companies that use the exact same specs.
