How would the x1uo due and driving a set like this when I run my SA six mark twos I have no problem with power using this particular dongle, but I’m just curious. Also, what is your opinion of these against the Butastur (spelling)
@@shamelessplace11 sa6 mk2 is an easy to drive set, but the Ra is really hard to drive in comparison. Butastur is has more forward vocal and bit leaner compared to these.

Hi Jordan, a lot of the reviews that I watched regarding EW300 also recommend the DSP version. I want to try it too as my first IEM, since I like the black finishing more than the silver, but I'm not sure if it's the better choice for me use, since my phone is still using a lightning connection. Do you think the standard/silver EW300 with (3.5 to lightning/usb c) apple dongle will sound better like the DSP version? I was also thinking if it might be better for me to just go with the Sennheiser IE 200 compared to the total cost of EW300 DSP + 3.5mm cable + lightning apple dongle. Struggle is real on what to buy online when there is no available shops within my area to try these IEMs first hand hahaha
@@johnpaulguevarra6916 haha.. dont use the apple dongle.. it will sound like crap. Muffled. The dsp has slight changes in sound, get that instead 😇

Hi, I want to buy an IEM and finalized 2 IEMs, S12 2024 and Ziigaat Arete, I don't have much preference as I am currently using QKZ HBB 20$ Iem, and planning to upgrade, my main purpose is mainly gaming and watching anime and bit of music listening. Please suggest one of these. Also I don't have any dac/amp. I will directly use them to my iphone using lightning to 3.5mm dongle and my macbook pro.

Myer Audio cklvx d41 and Pula Pa02 have the new Meta tuning in a lower price bracket. Not so refined sound I like the KE4 but still great for the price.

Just receive this set last night and going to do the full review. The first impression is this set is very layback kinda sound, my preference haha. thick and not to technical for ez listening. subtonic storm and canpur cp622b are "safe" = not good to people with defective hearing who prefer 2019 harman. By "defective" I mean "different from me" :)

Rather than a "new" meta, I'd rather call it the "current" meta. This muted upper mid was the thing long ago before Harman style became popular. It's just a return to a previously existing trend. Maybe in a few years time, Harman will be back.
yes, I think Harman 2019 drove off the road into a ditch. Now, Mega5EST 7th Ann. accidentally lowered the pinna by 4-5db, and people loved it, and realized 2019 Harman was BS the whole time and we just got used to it. Personally I prefer Harman -3, maybe -4db, not as much as M5E 7th did it.

@@kenjikodai not necessarily but I own the campfire moon rover and it’s quality and technicality are above most iems that other iems I own in the $500 and below range. Campfire just does planar really well

Hello! What do you reccomend,, I am thinking of a buy 1 and done iem. I plan to use for stage performance(am a male vocalist) and personal use at home. Unsure which to choose from but leaning towards prestige LTD because im not very picky about bass and prefer clarity. And staging is good so thats a plus too. Any recomendations? Thanks (Side note, where did you get your toxic cable from? UK site or taobao, and which do you recommend? 😅)

@@jordanng5428YO! Went to try at the hangout. Probably going with prestige LTD! Unfortunately they dont sell those at their store (they also gave me weird looks :(,, only the girl employee was less judgey. The rest gave very questionable looks, not the greatest experince for me but oh well, LTD was my liking.) Edit: they gave me questionable looks when I said I prefered LTD over the Monarch mk2 and mk3. To me MK2 lacked a bit of thumpy-ness but i liked the clarity and overall presentation - but it was a bit softer, less aggresive. Mk3 to me was a bit overbearing at times and separation not as nice as mk2. Mk2 was a lot smoother and less harsh when compared. But low ends and bass mk3 confirm win. Treble not as smooth and airy. LTD Was a blend of both and staging is amazing. Clarity in the mids and treble. Solid and punchy bass. Not a bassy iem but to me its enough. Plus bass doesn bleed into mids, like the oracle mk3. I tried Oracle mk 1/3 monarch mk2/3 hype 10 and LTD. I liked oracle mk3 and prestige ltd. Very surprised how good the oracle mk3 sounded. (I tot it was better than monarch mk2)
I'm still a Timeless AE guy. Those shells are stunning though.

To us in the west, it's just marketing. The "Monster" cables was the same as a normal cable. They definitely look pretty though.

I have the EM6L and SM4, for gaming purposes, wonder if the EW300 sounds better and which to choose... I get that the DSP model sounds great but I won't ever use a USB cable as I use a dac/amp... any recommendations ? A USB-C to 3.5mm adapter would do the job ? Would the DSP cable work that way ?
@@Frank_P83 haha.. no.. the dsp need to be plugged straight to your phone. Just get the ew300, then maybe a dongle will do the job. Haha.. more bass than what u using now i guess.
Hello Jordan, thank you for the review. I visited the earphone store last week when I want to try some upgrades from IE40 pro and this is what the store gives me. Do you recommend this or Hype 4? I listen to all kinds of music but more on EDM and the budget is around 400USD.
@@Tek129 haha.. Hype4 and this have a very similar sound signature. I guess.. H4 is bit better in overall.

Btw, the apex module is denoted by the amount of sound isolation. mX is -10dB (X for 10), m12 is -12dB, m15 is -15dB, and so on... So essentially the lower the number, the more open it is As someone who just got a U4s too, this is really a phenomenal IEM for the price. Nice video!
