If I exclusively listen to jpop (Yoasobi, Isui, Suisei for ex), which would you recommend? Oracle mk3, hype 4, moondrop variations? Or if you have another suggestion. Thanks!
I totally forgot to AB with the Top. But o3 has better bass, Top bass might be bit too much sometime (to me) (thats y i use other cable to tame it down). Top has better and forward mids, O3 mids are kind of lackluster. Details wise, both are at the same level, O3 seems handled it more naturally, while Top might be metallic at times. Staging wise O3 is better.
@jordanng5428 thank you . For me I like more bass so I'll stay with the top . Basically more bass with less stage . What do you think the best iem for bass from what you have tried?
Definitely not the em10, bit too boomy and dark for jpop. But if for some kpop, it might work, cuz some kpop tends to need more bass. Pilgrim a good and safe recommendation with plenty of detail. Bit thinner though. Oracle mk3 is fun, smooth and rich sounding. Thicker sound than Pilgrim.Quite versatile too.
another great content Jordan I was anticipating on this release, seems like a eh lol, will the Oracle MK3 compliment the Xenns Mangrid Top, in which at the moment is my end game IEM
Actually i forgot to mention abt Top. Both share very similar approach. Maybe O3 has slightly cleaner bass, and less aggressive treble. But tuning wise, they are on the same route.
The B Roll at 14:12 is amazing, is that like a glass infused mousepad or something? It hurts, I really want this or the Prestige LTD, they're both so beautiful and are described as wide sounding. I am a metal listener, I probably don't need something other than the Xenns Top but I kinda still am chasing something less V-shaped. Maybe it's like jewelry to me...
always been looking for an upgrade for my oracle mk1, guess I have to wait longer now, I alr have the prestige LTD and it sounds insanely good so there's not point buying oracle mk3 for me.
Great review bro. The faceplate is pretty nice. But based on your review, probably pass on this one for me. Currently I also still own an oracle OG which has been my “going out” iem for a couple months, now has changed to oriolus szalayi. Is the Zepp and FA collab cable an entry or mid level? Looking forward to try it out soon in the shop next time.
@@Daniel-lq5qq I do prefer the vocals on the Szalayi. I feel that it’s slightly more forward, rich and organic, whereas Oracle OG is more neutral but with more details. But do need some eartip rolling for Szalayi, if the not bass can be too much for some.

Disappointment.I don t understand how manufacturers think sometimes. You have something an iem near perfection and you don t choose to perfect this one but you do something "else" and you maintain the same name.. Strange things
Because every brand deliberately add flaws into their non-flagship products to create tier ranges, as a result they get to sell multiple products rather than just 1 perfect product. Manufacturers think top-down, meaning they have a flagship which must be their best product then they would deliberately make worse versions of it to sell as mid tier and low tier. It costs at most a hundred dollars to manufacture any flagship IEM/headphones, so the thousand over dollars price tag is the brand's markup. Audio brands spend more money on marketing rather than R&D, because the difference in most products is just the tuning which they recycle across their entire product range.
Great review, this is within my budget and my preferences, I’m definitely putting it on my short list. Thank you Jordan. 🙏
