I can't justify the price of the hype 10. It's too much for me. I have been eyeing the hype 4 for a while now and am waiting for the comparison with the new dusk.
I think imo hype 10 is better for my taste than Mmk3 just for the sake of bass being more impactful and less brighter treble, Mmk3 treble is just slightly too bright. The staging on Mmk3 also feels a bit too artificial as it sounds kinda mirrored in a way, and also most important hype 10 is cheaper. I got the prestige ltd tho 😂
Hearing your comment about the Hype 4 vs 10, I think it does address some of the shortcomings of the 4 (not as open as I'd wish), but I do think that 15% improvement is indeed stretching it. I'm even thinking that the Monarch might not be that big of an improvement. So I'll wait for your review and comparison of some of the Sing-Fi stuff like the Singularity or the Crimson to see which path to take! So join up guys! Spicy vids in the member area! No PPV! So we can fund end-game stuff!
Note that this is just my unit since unit variance is a headache with these sets, so some differences might be smaller depending on QC. Monarch is cleaner (mine at least), so if you want a different sound then it would be a good pick, but if you like bass stick with your Hype 4
I do wonder how the Hype10-4 compares to the Chopin in the bass rendering because Chopin has a beefy bass with just the subbass presence missing compared to midbass.

From your guide, I can afford the tanchjim one or the P1 Max, but I also saw from one in your replies to others' comment that the Kiwi ears melody would be good for that genre. So I was going for P1 max or the Melody, which of them is better?

Chopin has brighter female vocals if that's your thing. Cadenza 4 has really balanced female/male vocals, more forward than Hype4 but not as bright as Chopin.
Okay so when you say rock are you referring to what is usually considered rock more like 60 70s type rock music you know early Black Sabbath led Zeppelin or are you referring to metal heavy metal
