Hey hey.. I’ve used an old Honda as parts bike, and literally stripped it down and cut pieces out of the frame to fully extensively modify my other project..
at the end of that project, what I hadn’t picked off the bones of the parts bike, was all literally trash..
Cut and twisted beyond recognition, before the scrap yard..
      100 percent bonafide trash..
But your right because at that point it was definitely no longer a bike or even pieces.. just pieces of pieces of what was once pieces of a bike..

I used to get shit from Harley guys about my Kawasaki Vulcan. Meanwhile, it was December, 20 degrees out, and I'm on my bike while they're in their SUV. I always thought it was hilarious. Especially the time a guy trailering his Harley told me I needed to get a "real" bike. I never cared about what type of bike anyone rode, but I had more respect for guys whose bikes were on the street year round than the guys with trailer queens or the weekend warriors. A bike was all I had, so I couldn't let weather be a factor. I rode 365.

I rode a friend's Vulcan 900 from Wyoming to Pennsylvania. Great ride, it had real live , big animal bawlz... but my arms felt great the whole time. Maybe that's a weird observation...but that's what stood out. Im actually looking for a similar handlebars set up.

    • @Phuc_Socialist_You_Tube
      @Phuc_Socialist_You_Tube ปีที่แล้ว +5

"Goldwings easier to repair"? Obviously, you have never had to repair one. Goldwings are complex plumbers nightmares. You have to remove panels and the battery box just to get to the starter. The same must be done just to get the rear master cylinder out. Want to dig through all the plastic panels, hoses and airbox just to get to the carbs. The Goldwing is a bike where you almost always have to remove this that and the other thing just to get at the part you want. Compared to a Golwing, I'd work on a harley any day. Owning Harleys made that a requirement. Goldwings almost never fail. But when they do, Tylenol first, then the service manual.

Harley Davidson has a significant advantage in that they use the same engine across many models. American brands are renowned for their exceptional customer service. However, it's worth noting that reliability can vary between brands. For instance, while Can-am Spyder is not as dependable, BPR manufactures the best snowmobiles that can start even at minus 40, unlike Polaris or Yamaha.

The most un-brotherly things you can do is discourage someone for doing what they like and feel good about, but MC’s are all about being brothers and not following rules. The Honda Goldwing is the hands down undisputed KING of the touring motorcycle. And were made in the USA till 2011 when harleys wete being and are still made in China and assembled here. A stock goldwing will leave a stock road king in the dust wings are faster built better and 1000 times more reliable than any harley. FACTS. MY first road bike was a 1941 45" WLA and i rode it for 10 years almost everyday ans it would make me piss blood, rattle itself apart and leave me constantly wrenching on the side of the road and i loved it. Until i got a 1981 goldwing 1100 and i sold the old Harley and never looked back. I own 3 goldwings no😮w and 100% There is a standard. Spending 30-40k on a Harley is not working on yourself. For one it says you have one brain cell. Who in their right mind buys a motorcycle for that much, is outdated, unreliable, and overall under performing. Yamaha, Suzuki, Indian, Honda, Triumph all have bikes that are half that price and put every single motorcycle that Harley Davidson has to offer to shame. Only motorcycle that is in par and should’ve remained in production is their Vrod. Only motorcycle with an engine that ment something and designed by porche.

Thirty-six years ago, I wanted my first bike to be a Harley Davidson. I had saved up for a few years and was going to pay cash. I went to the shop with my dad, and waited. No service. They were pretty much empty except two customers. The sales reps just ignored us. As I waited, I looked around and on a wall saw a poster of a garbage dump with a pile of Japanese motorcycles and the caption read, "You'll never find a Harley Davidson here."
It really left me feeling like Harley riders are racists. Me and my dad are Taiwanese American. We love the US. But this was back in the late 80s when the US economy was in recession and US automakers were not doing well and Japan bashing was big.
Yeah, HDs are beautiful. But I will never buy one.

Back in the day growing up in my neighborhood one of my neighbors was a biker within a group of bikers when they would gather every now and then I learned something about these guys... alot of them were lawyers, doctors, very prestigious and honorable occupations and some of the nicest people you could ever meet you carry that tradition forward it seems I thought it was a tradition now long gone having come across your video I see it's still strong and well hats off to you.

Harley is simply an expensive status symbol and a brand. Honda will go anywhere a Harley will go, for that matter any bike will go anywhere a Harley will go. It's just a brand people, it don't make you better than a guy that rides a Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha or even a moped. Ride what you like, you don't need to honor anyone's " brand name".

I have been a honda guy since my motorcross days. Made send when I hit the streets I keep with the brand I know and trust. I love the HD's. and Indians, and EVERY motorcycle. If your on 2 wheels your my brother or my sister and I will support you, help you, stop for you if your in trouble. And i hope you do the same for me. I got a flat tire once on a 2000 mile trip. I was on the side of the road plugging it when 3 HD guys stopped and asked me if I needed help. I shook there hand and told them I was grateful for the assist and if they could just watch the traffic while I plugged it that would be awesome. We rode about 17 miles together till i had to turn onto another route. I've done the same many times (plug tires, offering tools) to rides I see when I am out that something happened to. My GW has over 80K on it and still going strong. It's a great bike for me, or me and the wife to take multi day/state trips. Love what you do Sose.

I've got all kinds of bikes from a ct70, Chinese 250 Enduro, xt250, kdx200, 636, the KZ1000p, Xr650r sumo, a Iron 883 with the 1250 kit and a 03 cvo road king with a cammed 103. I love all my bikes that's why they didn't get flipped. All of them were once garage dust collectors or tarp queens. Now all have life's breath back in them.

I don’t hold it against other riders for what they ride. I started out on dirt bikes as a kid and road some badass rice burners! It wasn’t until later in life that I had the opportunity to buy a HD. I now ride a 07 Electra Glide Ultra Classic. I have a 91 Electra Glide sport as a backup bike in case a friend needs a ride. I bought two of my grandsons 08 sportsters. Right now I’m splitting my time between Tecumseh Oklahoma and Daytona Beach Florida. The 07 is in Fl and the 91 is in Ok. I was just in Oklahoma and rode the 91 with a grandson on his sporty. The only people I have a problem with are those who don’t return a wave. Seems BMW riders never wave . The one thing we all have in common is getting in the wind! Two wheels or my brothers on trikes, are all good with me!

In a club. If he/she likes their ride, let them be! I've owned Harley, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda and Triumph. Various stages of live, occupation (USMC), and finicial stability determined what I rode. Everything from dirt bikes to a Ultra Limited. 72 now & still going. First "big" bike I rode was my Dad's 34 Harley. Week later bought a 59 sportster.

I can remember when the Japanese motorcycle companies first broke into the cruiser bike scene to go head to head with Harley. One of my coworkers sold his Harley to buy a Roadstar Yamaha. He road it to work the first week and someone told he better run out and check on it because it had a fuel leak and might catch fire. Someone had bought about 10 pounds of rice and poured a trail from his bike all the way out the gate at work it was all in fun and he got grilled pretty good for being one of the first of our crew to by a Jap bike. Later on a lot of guys I work with bought them. They were good bikes.

One ride I was on: Descending a twisty mountain road. One rider was on a Goldwing. He was COASTING, engine off, blasting past sportsbikers like they were standing still. It's not the bike, it's the rider. Want to ride ? Do so. Your bike, your ride.

Hey Sose, it's up to you to ride what you like. If a club says you have to ride a Harley with them, that's fine. A Gold Wing club may want you to have a Gold Wing. I had a Gold Wing for a short time which was too heavy for me as I am older. I have a Dyna ( I've most stayed with Harleys) now that fits me perfectly. If you're out riding and someone on two's needs help, it doesn't matter what they're riding. You help them anyways. That 'Wing rider may help you someday. My girlfriend rides a Suzuki S40, we enjoy the whole experience..... Queasy

I used to think baggers like Street Glides or Road Kings were old people bikes. Until I got a little older and tried one out. After that I was like “ok, I get it now”. I ended up getting a Road Glide.
I always seen a Goldwing as someone retirement bike. I’m not going to knock them for it. The nicest Goldwing I seen was a stripper down Goldwing and was shock by how nice it looked.

I just ride man! My current bike is a yamaha vstar 650 for daily commuting. This thing friggin rocks. I'm not doing 90 on a freeway with it but its light , nimble and great for 30 mile daily commutes and weekend fun run's with the old lady. I could care less what a weekend warrior with a harley in his garage says, especially when he's leaving the dealership with brand new gear that will get worn once in awhile on Saturday when the sun is out, its over 70 degrees and DEFINATELY no rain....... I ride, you ride, doesnt matter what we ride!!

This 2018+ Honda Gold Wing is a premium performance touring bike right out of the box with no engine updates required. If you happen to flash-tune the engine then you will really have a beast on your hands. I know because I tuned the limiters off of mine. It will do 130mph uphill, 140 on level ground, and 150 downhill with no wind. This is just me with no passenger or luggage. The Gold Wing is not the bike to disrespect or underestimate because you could definitely embarrass yourself.

Just 1 thing to tell you my friend. Here in south america is kind of impossible to buy a harley. People like me with an average salary... Will never get a harley. Its only a good dream... I should give up my entire income for about 35 months, and i wont even get a brand new one. Probably 10 years old. Hope this worth for yall to realize how different is living here or there or elsewere. Im thankful anyways i got a 20yo vw car i can drive, and keeps me away of public bus. 😂🤝
