Only tip I can add is, for just about a 100$, you can get a phone gimbal, like the DJI mobile. It'll SIGNIFICANTLY allow you to do these shots way way smoother and easier.
Or maybe a second tip: Since you plan to slow down your shot, Shoot in 60fps or higher (as supported by your camera). If max you can do is 30, then shoot in 30, and export video in 24 or 25 (that way you have about 20% slowmo possibility

Thanks Steve. Love the videos! I'm having a hard time with light flare coming in from windows. I don't see that issue with light coming in the kitchen windows in your video. Do you have just the normal ceiling lights on in the house when you're shooting this? I Have been shooting 1080 p at 120 fps. Appreciate your thoughts.

    'Twas battered and scarred,
    And the auctioneer thought it
    hardly worth his while
To waste his time on the old violin,
but he held it up with a smile.
"What am I bid, good people", he cried,
"Who starts the bidding for me?"
"One dollar, one dollar, Do I hear two?"
"Two dollars, who makes it three?"
"Three dollars once, three dollars twice, going for three,"
    But, No,
From the room far back a gray bearded man
Came forward and picked up the bow,
Then wiping the dust from the old violin
    And tightening up the strings,
He played a melody, pure and sweet
As sweet as the angel sings.
The music ceased and the auctioneer
With a voice that was quiet and low,
Said "What now am I bid for this old violin?"
As he held it aloft with its' bow.
"One thousand, one thousand, Do I hear two?"
"Two thousand, Who makes it three?"
"Three thousand once, three thousand twice,
    Going and gone", said he.
    The audience cheered,
    But some of them cried,
    "We just don't understand."
    "What changed its' worth?"
    Swift came the reply.
"The Touch of the Masters Hand."
"And many a man with life out of tune
All battered and bruised with hardship
Is auctioned cheap to a thoughtless crowd
    Much like that old violin
A mess of pottage, a glass of wine,
A game and he travels on.
He is going once, he is going twice,
He is going and almost gone.
    But the Master comes,
And the foolish crowd never can quite understand,
The worth of a soul and the change that is wrought
By the Touch of the Masters' Hand.

Did you used any color grading in all the cam shots?

    • @LearnOnlineVideo
      @LearnOnlineVideo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I think I might have slightly boosted a bit of saturation but that’s about it, the image straight out of camera with the iPhone is quite saturated as it is. Generally I don’t colour grade/stylise real estate footage as I think it looks best to keep it as natural as possible (with maybe a slight tweak in saturation to help bring it to life). Hope this helps💻👍

    • @LearnOnlineVideo
      @LearnOnlineVideo  ปีที่แล้ว

Yea, 4k 60fps is great as you can slow your footage down in the edit if needed. If you’re in a low light situation then stick to 24 frames per second as this will let more light in 👍

Dude makes everything look amazing, a real pro. It may be worth noting that everything he talks about in his videos takes a LOT of practice. Don't be discouraged if your videos don't look as great as his on the first attempt. It doesn't only take a steady hand but also a perceptive eye. Achieving either, let alone both, is very difficult in the beginning.

Okay but not great techniques. Tilting down gives a warped perspective. Phone footage is okay. Personally I use a Blackmagic 6k pro with a DJI ronin, Rhino slider etc. Much more high end.

Excellent video. Thanks for listening to my request (and others I'm sure) to make a real estate video tutorial. Most of my videos are done on my Samsung S10. Sadly, I don't have your amazing ability to make the movement smooth, so I use the MOVI FREEFLY and a lot of the moves you show can be automated using the MOVI. as a real estate agent, the only comment on technique I'd make is have the mobile or camera slightly higher for the kitchen shots, so the view is slightly looking down on the countertop. Little tip for the slider move on the countertop is put the mobile/camera on a soft cloth to help with a smooth slide.
I'll start using many of your tips from today. As a real estate agent in Montenegro I rely heavily on TH-cam videos to show off our properties to our international clients. We're a few subs from 1000 so I think you'll help us get to get over 1k quickly.
    Keep up the great work/videos!

Any agent that shoots their real estate videos with a phone need to be fired, canned and sued. It is appalling to see the crappy garbage cell phone photos and videos of homes on real estate sites. Agents get tens of thousands of dollars or more oftentimes and they can't be bothered to get a real camera?
