Sure thing. Thanks.
Your work is amazing! Thank you for proving to the naysayers (who likely haven’t even tried it) that a quality phone and gimbal are every bit as effective as a DSLR/mirrorless camera on a huge, heavy rig.
I mean it kinda is... lol
To confirm the phone is level, I use the iOS measure app which has a level built in. It will tell you if it's off 1degree or more
Smart!!
Fantastic advice. Amazing editing. Great ideas for my social media tours. Thank you.
Thanks!! Have fun ✌️
Great video Taylor!!! Thank you for the tutorial!!!
Thanks Steve!!
I love everything about your video. Can you please continue to show us in real time what the video looks like as you’re doing it? You started that way but didn’t do for every other shot. Thanks for taking the time to share. I appreciate it very much!!
Thanks so much! You mean like a POV behind the scenes and the shot as it’s being recorded ? Always hard to gauge how much to leave in/cut out to keep things moving and not too boring to watch!
@@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo yes, please! Would love to see what you see and do when you're filming:)
@@jill108 Thanks!! Working on a new video that's showing more of that :)
What an incredible video! Loved it from first to last.
Thanks!! Hope it helps ya
So good!!! This is the best tutorial I’ve seen so far!
Thanks so much! That means a lot. Hope you like the rest of the ones on the channel :-)
Thanks for the behind the scenes look and showing the footage as it was being shot. Really helped put it all together!
Awesome! Glad to hear that. If you want to see the editing process I did a full editing breakdown a few videos after this one. Thumbnail is mostly my phone 👍
Awesome. I really enjoyed and learned from this video. Thank you 👍
Great video!! My 2nd time to watch and will probably watch a few more times. Just getting into this and I’m learning a lot from you. I’m a Realtor and I’m learning this for my own benefit to make some great videos to market my own listings and other homes in the area. Thank you!!
Awesome ! Glad to help you out :)
Your videos are amazing - I am just getting into real estate, and I want to study pretty hard before I try to pick up gigs. All of this to say, your videos are calm, relaxing, and easy to follow, and I am thankful that I came across them~
Thanks for saying that! Means a lot 🙏
Beautiful video! Thanks for the info!
Thanks John! Hope it helped you
This was amazing - I would love to see a video of you doing your post production editing with iphone footage!
Thanks! I’ll plan on it 👌
Excellent
Thank you for sharing 🥰✨💕
Great value man!
Thank you 🙏
Thanks!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
Back to watch this again in preparation for two shoots coming up - and there are a ton of great pointers. Main one for me is S L O W movement! Your short, slow clips keep the momentum going instead of lengthy shots. A beautiful home and you captured the magic of the exterior with the brilliant red foliage. Thank you for sharing your tips!!!!
Congrats on the shoots! Have fun 🤙
Love it man, this was some super helpful stuff
Thanks!
Great video !
This was so insightful and easy to follow thankyou for this
Thanks!
Thanks! Love your content brother. 🤙

Beautiful work! Can’t wait until I can offer something like this. 😍😍
Thank you! I’m sure you can do it ✅✅
insane! can totally do professional work with that setup !!
You think so?? Have you been doing more iPhone vids since that one you showed me ??
Fantastic!
Thanks for amazing video.
Thanks!! Glad you liked it.
great video... very helpful
Thanks Martin 🫡
That was absolutely excellent! I am so new to photography. I have a Canon R10 mirrorless and a Samsung 23 Ultra. I seem to favor the 23 Ultra as my go-to camera. I am going to do my first real estate shoot this coming weekend. It's our own property we're selling in the Texas Hill Country - so I've got time. Your instructional will help me get what I need. Thank you. 🤙🙏
Awesome! Have fun🤘
How's the property sale looking? Do you have a listing with a video I can watch?
Great video as I just bought this gimbal and learning how to do the right shots
Nice!! Best bet is to keep it simple and get all the info first then get creative. I have a lot more BTS content on the channel if you want to check it out! Like this one for example on a simple workflow for RE videos: th-cam.com/video/TwWImlPQ-w0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hYlHMY3rRpQ6ss_b
The Final Cut is So beautiful!!!
Thank you!
Thank you for making this awesome vedio 🙏🏼
Thanks!
such a great video
¡Gracias! La técnica que usas es muy instructiva y será excelente poder aplicarla en mis próximos videos 👍
Thank you!
Awesome! Made it all seem very simple. What about the final music? Thanks epidemic sound for that!
Thanks!! They’ve got the best stuff 👌 The title + artist is at the start of the final edit if that’s what you meant :)
Beautiful video!
Thank you! Hope it helped ya 👌
I've learned so much in this video.
Awesome!! I appreciate you
About to start real estate videography and was unclear on where to start. This content answered so many of my questions - Thank you.

nice place nice house nice teacher,tnQ man🥰
Thanks!!
Thanks
No problem!
Love this so much!! Thank you for sharing. I'm getting back into photo/video work and doing a test session for interior design / real estate this week and was like "can I use my gimbal and iphone for the walkthrough video? Will they think I'm unprofessional?" but seeing this def gave me the confidence! I also have a gimbal for my fuji.
No prob! Let me know how it goes 🤘
Amazing Job!! I have a shoot tomorrow I’m going to try with my 14
Let me know how it goes!
Nicely done! I just got the iPhone 12 pro with the DJI OM4 gimbal, primarily for CubiCasa and walk throughs, but after seeing this, I might leave my pro gear at home and start shooting with the iPhone now. Certainly would help workflow on those multi shoot days!
Might make sense! Let me know how it goes
I have learned a lot from watching your videos. You have a new subscriber
So glad to hear it ! Welcome 🙏
Great video! May you go over more exposure or how you expose for rooms? And the editing process? Thx 🙏🏼
Thanks!! For phones mostly just tap the screen on the area I am prioritizing for exposure, and hold to lock it in! Sometimes that’s the window, sometimes the wall if I need to prioritize the interior in darker scenarios.
This was helpful
Awesome! Thanks for checking it out
great vid
Thanks for checking it out :)
Thanks Taylor. Great stuff! Question for you please: do you slow down the footage in a separate app before adding it the 24 fps timeline, or do you just slow down each clip in the timeline as required?
Hey! Great question. For this one I just put it all on the timeline in the order I wanted, selected everything and changed the speed to 80% then cut + moved footage around (and added speed ramps) to make it fit to the music and flow better.
As always, an excellent video and opens the door to another option for RE photographers. Great job. How often do you use your iPhone for RE videos? Are you somewhat reluctant to use this technique in front of a client/agent? Thx for the great source of info.
Hey! Thanks so much. I don't do this for client videos - I just know a lot of you are into it so I am trying to help with the content :) I think it should be totally fine especially when there isn't a budget for normal video production or if you were offering it for social media content / add on's to photo packages especially.
Love this so much. Going to try this at the next Airbnb I set up.
What do you use for editing the videos? And do you have a tutorial for photos too?
Nice!! Thanks for checking it out. You'll have to skim through the channel but I have a lot of photography bts videos like this + editing tutorials too! Here's a BTS video editing tutorial for this airbnb though - th-cam.com/video/_ilf_Tat8Yw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KIYehtNX9OIX9OBz & if you are more into courses, I have those here for photo + video - taylor-brown-university.teachable.com/p/home-2 Feel free to reach out if you are anywhere nearby & want to work together on them.
Hey Taylor! Thanks for the awesome video! Quick question, are you shooting with the camera hdr setting on or off?
Thank you!
Thanks! HDR on ✅
I will watch this video on repeat
haha hope you like it! ✌ More BTS coming soon.
great video.....
Thanks a ton!
Nice, highly detailed video. So do you provide the finished video to the RE agents with audio? Does that Epidemic Sound license extend to their usage?
Thanks! Yes, with the commercial plan you’re covered. There is also a tab in your account menu to “clear” videos if you ever have any issues (you just put the link to the video in a form and it registers it as your video from your account essentially) There’s also some cool tools where your client can do that too.
Great advice! What would you recommend on the gimbal follow speed for doing a house tour walkthrough? Thanks!
Slow !! Always ;)
very creative brother
Thanks!!
Nice cut brother dang
Thanks 🙏
good stuff! the only thing I would recommend is attention to detail; remove dishrag hanging from oven, leaf from fire pit, etc.
Great added tips!
Love this video thank you! What was the song you used in the final edit? I am with Epidemic as well :)
Hey thanks!! It's Volatile by Dreem - If you want to see the full editing tutorial check this video out - th-cam.com/video/_ilf_Tat8Yw/w-d-xo.html
Subscribed. As a realtor with a videography background, this is perfect! Just wish I knew what gimbal mode you used. Also, have you changed any iPhone settings. Like HDR or anything?
Hey!! Just posted a video on gimbal setup/settings you might like. For quality settings I like HDR, 4k 30 or 60fps for almost everything 🫡
Thanhs for your clip
awesome video as always. Do you have any recommended songs on Epidemic Sound?
Thanks so much! Yes, check out the link in video description for my Real Estate Essentials Playlist once you sign up :) www.epidemicsound.com/music/themes/creators-picks/real-estate-essentials-by-taylor-brown/
Great video. Any videos on how to edit these on your iPhone? Also how much to charge for this and/or instagram reels?
Up to you on pricing and what clients are willing to pay in your area! I have this one video on editing w/phones. I would also try Davinci Resolve (free) which is a great program for more professional editing options even though VN is super easy!
th-cam.com/video/DFGcGyJIwfA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tGg4pMhyLgkCb1o3
This is amazing! Thanks for sharing. Cna you tell me what keyword do you usually search for BGM on epidemic for real estate video?
Modern, classical, jazz, future bass, etc. once you download a decent amount it will suggest good ones to you and gets faster. Now I mostly just download things from the suggestions and they’re great :)
Great Video Taylor! Wish I would of seen this week's ago. I'm curious if you have any videos like this with suburban homes that don't have much exterior scenery to capture? Thank you for your time!
Thanks! Here's a few. th-cam.com/video/n-W62U-6FIU/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/oMem7ZQjtAo/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/Tw6-I2Ish4w/w-d-xo.html
Hi! Thx for your videos, i find them really helpful as I'm starting out! I have one question: Why not shootin everything in 4k60 aside from file size?
Thanks! Simple answer - the camera gets worse quality footage inside with 4k60 unless it’s super bright. Also personally don’t need to slow any wide shots down that slow so 30fps is a good spot for me to stick to.
More complicated answer/ You’ll get more noise in the video footage since the camera will have to compensate for exposure by increasing the ISO.
i love your videos and i'm just getting into editing for my videography. have you considered masking in your videos?
What kind of masking ?
Hi Taylor. Your final edit looks incredible. Having used the iPhone 14 Pro and seeing how easy it is to use would you consider shooting all your real estate videos on it or would you stick with your Sony A7SIII?
Also, did you do anything to the footage in the edit ie used a LUT etc?
Thanks! No I’d stick with mirrorless/cinema cameras. More high quality lens options , reliable results, and creative control on the quality. I just did some simple color grading for this one. Here’s the editing breakdown if you want to check it out :) going to work on some iPhone LUTS as soon as I get a chance too! I have some i use personally but need to refine them for more specific use cases to share with you guys. th-cam.com/video/_ilf_Tat8Yw/w-d-xo.html
Nice I’m looking to add videos to my realsetate
Awesome! Hope the channel helps you get going :)
Nice job! Two questions that I’m curious about.
1. Is there a reason why you use the phone camera instead of the DJI in-app camera?
2. Do you make any edits with the views as far as exposure, highlights, contrast, etc? Or do you just keep it raw from the phone video?
Hey! No not really, was just keeping it simple for this video. Check out this editing video for more details :) (it’s a full editing breakdown for this video)
th-cam.com/video/_ilf_Tat8Yw/w-d-xo.html
Great video and advice! Thanks! Should I walk at a normal pace (not slow) if I’m going to slow everything down later? I tend to walk too slow then it’s waaay too slow at 80% 🤦🏻♂️
Yeah! Just try several speeds (maybe say what speed it is for your reference on each shot) and see what works for you! A lot of the time it’s easier to get a smoother movement if you’re moving faster too so that’s a bonus!
Have learned so much!! I am so interested in your ideas on panning and what you do instead or suggest
That’s awesome to hear! Planning is great and is really effective to show things smoothly. I usually add forward motion to RE shots but it’s not always necessary.
@@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo I thought I watched a video where you said you don’t often pan anymore because it’s hard to watch (I agree!) and I’m so intrigued by how you show rooms. Do you pan slowly and just walk into the room?
@jennifersmithnbrealtor just varies from shot to shot and what goal I have. Usually just push in shots (only moving forward while holding the same camera angle) or combinations of movements (but still pretty slow)
Here’s amother BTS video that goes over a really simple workflow that might help you out :)
th-cam.com/video/TwWImlPQ-w0/w-d-xo.html
@jennifersmithnbrealtor probably the biggest reason to not pan is people end up doing them Way too fast so it makes you feel dizzy and is hard to keep up with especially on vertical video.
This was live bro. I need to get one of those gimbal’s.
Thanks! Honestly such a fun creative experience vs shooting with a heavy cinema setup.
amazing!! Love this and thank you! How do you do the quick sped up parts that look like a jump shot? min 14:47
Thank you! Here's the full breakdown of that edit - That technique is called "Speedramping" th-cam.com/video/_ilf_Tat8Yw/w-d-xo.html
Great video! Do you have any videos about your edit process?
Yeah! Check out the most recent one , it’s breaking down editing this video :)
Love your work and your videos on how to shoot with an IPhone! I always learn something new to implement immediately. Thank you Taylor frfr. Are you in Houston? How can I connect further?
Thanks!! I’m in VA but I’m from HTX. What about you?
@@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo I'm from HTX. How do you know when to adjust the extender on the gimbal? I have the same one.
It’s just for personal preference. So whatever is comfortable for you or helps you get a better angle !
Thank you so much bro. It's very helpful. I got a quick question. As now vertical videos are getting trendy. Can you make a video on how to do the vertical real estate videos? It would be very helpful.
I tried the vertical shot several times, but the feeling is not as the horizontal one. It feels so weird haha.
Thanks! For sure. Do you mean how to set up your camera for them, how to compose or anything more specific?
this turned out really good... i'm on a osmo 5, do you lock the tilt? your gimbal stays perfectly steady.
Hey! Thanks so much. I kept it on Pan Follow mode so it doesn’t rotate. (Not FPV mode)
Gosh. Thanks so much! I have 4 Airbnbs and live in a somewhat remote area. Getting a real estate photographer here is expensive and limited in variety.
I'm hoping to find a video from you on editing now!
Glad to help ✌️ I have several on the channel if you look for them but here’s one for this particular edit : th-cam.com/video/_ilf_Tat8Yw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tFGVzNH4fAFUgtYO
This video was really well done. I'm debating between buying a new phone and getting a video camera. Kinda tough because video is not often requested so that's a lot to spend
Thanks! Depends on what direction you’re wanting to go long term which one is a better investment.. both aren’t cheap!
@@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo what do you primarily use ?
Final Cut 👌 But Premiere is good too and Davinci is probably best honestly just haven’t taken enough time to get used to it. (And they have a great free version)
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the support 🙏
Nice video! How are you keeping the shutter speed high enough without third party app for interiors to be able to slow to 80% at 24 fps? Thanks!
Not sure! Just kept it simple for this video with the camera app. I assume it just bumps up the ISO for darker spaces instead of shutter unless it’s super dark
Amazing video!! What do you use for editing?
Thanks! Final Cut usually. Here’s a full breakdown of how I edited this one.
th-cam.com/video/_ilf_Tat8Yw/w-d-xo.html
Thanks a lot!
Great work! I have the same setup that you used for this demonstration son I'm curious...What are the gimbal settings you are using to help keep the gimbal from tilt shifting? Also, I noticed that you aren't terribly concerned about keeping the angle straight up and down, am I correct?
Thanks my man! I'm applying much of what I learn from you to my own real estate videos.
Hey! Check out my gimbal setup videos a few before or after this one for all the settings :) It depends on the shot! Sometimes it helps to add some tilt to the movement to make it more dramatic but not all the time.
Hey this video was great!!! I do want to do these videos but vertical, any drawbacks to the vertical videos?
Thanks! Just need to do your framing a bit different so it looks better on the different platforms. th-cam.com/video/cF8xECyxAP8/w-d-xo.html Mentioned this on the last Q&A Video a little more in-depth if you want to check it out !
I'm curious how you got the shot up to the railing- @ 15:06 ?? And I've watched all of your videos, and love the way you explain things! Thank you.
Thanks!! I attached the gimbal to a monopod & made it a 5ft pole. Fun for “fake drone” shots too for exteriors. Kinda tricky though since you can’t see the screen !
great video! Now mostly is how do you get that quality? what settings you use in Premier Pro in order to get that quality?
Thank you
Hey! Thanks so much. Not totally sure what you mean, but in the edit I use a 4k 24 fps timeline and export with those settings too if that’s what you meant👌
Love it❤ Can you please make a video on how to shoot video of a housing project streets from car while driving as I have done some but want to make them more professional. Thanks
Thanks!! What is the goal of the video you’re trying to do? Not totally sure what you mean.
@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo thanks for your reply 🙏
Actually I deal with real estate in Pakistan so here we have to show all the developments like streets ,roads and whatever is on road sides. So you can't just walk on the roads and make videos oviously you need a car to show up all the new developments because it's not only single house to show its a project to show. I do share a link below one of my videos please have look whenever you have time. And tell me how to improve overall video quality and stuff. Will be thankful 🙏
th-cam.com/video/FWFoxVvTiCk/w-d-xo.html
Awesome video, Wich mode do you use on your Gimbal. Stanby mode / Lock mode / Follow mode / POV Mode / Vortex Mode.
Thanks! Follow mode
Thanks for this video! I've been binge watching a lot of your content lately since I just got my DJI OM 6. I'm still very much an amateur with and editing in Capcut. One thing I don't hear mentioned in anyone's videos is the settings on the gimbal itself, like which mode is best for shooting these real estate videos?
Thanks!! Follow mode for sure :)
Here’s a video I did on settings
