Always the small nets I will chum on my boat for a hour and then throw a 12ft net with a perfect pancake and get 0 fish by then I go to that one new spot don’t do anything and all I have is a tiny net and blind throw get 300+ bait fish

Add more weight. At 5 foot, you'll be able to sling it farther and you'll catch bigger fish that are too fast to be caught in a lighter net.
