- Throwing a cast net can be a daunting task for some but I can't imagine being a fisherman without knowing how to throw one. In this video, Lorenzo, my 12 year old son will give you 2 easy ways to throw a cast net. He's throwing a 6 foot net in this video. Learn how to catch your own bait with this classic technique.

I was initially turned off by how long the video was as I thought it might be unnecessarily long but still decided to watch it. It is easily the best video I have seen explaining how to throw nice pancakes with a cast net. The breakdowns of the throws were on point. Really, really well done. Thank you!
Also, I disagree with many of the comments saying the dad talking detracted from the video. He did a GREAT job breaking down the steps and having his son elaborate further. That's exactly how you teach something - you break it down into smaller steps so people can understand. I'm shocked so many comments disagree with this.

Perhaps. I’m referring to the mono lines that connect the bottom rim of the net and run inside up through the horn and tie to the swivel.

Good for 3,4 Foot Radius, if you have more than 10 foot radius , it’s not working very well

This kid has a great technique, and is very very good for his age but this cameraman ruins the video by feeling the need to be heard and refusing to just shut up and let the kid tell us what he’s doing……. We want to hear the kid explain it not some guy behind the lens trying to steal the show by bumping his gums nonstop

Pancakes 😅 too much expertise makes the showyness of an event appear bad, people with less adeptness makes the entire casting visually captivating , you did it like random and it flaired circularly , will learn from you only. You made the system of casting and affect seemed boring, but effect of the final result is hundred percent, net result not zero , its my concept, do it however way , champion😅
