Hi I turned 40 weeks yesterday 6th Jan 2025, and I'm still waiting for the labor I'm feeling exhausted 😞 I can't wait for my baby boy to arrive.. I wish all expectant momma's out there safe delivery . .
I’m 37w3d but facing medical induction at 39 weeks! Going to let baby happily bake until 38w and go ham with these natural methods to either 1) encourage baby to come on her own before the induction or 2) prep my body for a more smooth induction process.
@@angelinamercedes1733 I have a rare blood disease that puts me at high risk for a lot of complications after 39 weeks. This pregnancy has been different than my previous two and already has complications of its own (IUGR baby) so we feel good about that decision. I’ve had a medical induction booked for my other 2 children but never made it- my kids wanted to come around 38 weeks. So we’ll see if this one is the same.
I'm 37 wks and 4 days! It's feels so good to make it this far. I went for a long walk yesterday and plan to walk more and do squats/ birth positions. I do have my earth mama third trimester tea. Going up to 2 cups a day.
So glad this video came up recommended for me… I’m due the first week of September with my second baby and my ob has already mentioned if baby doesn’t arrive by my due date that we have to talk medical induction or csection, though she hopes and thinks baby will arrive early. I had a csection with my first because they thought baby boy was going to be 10+ lbs from the last ultrasound I had done and (it felt like) they scared me into getting the csection. I don’t want to go through that again so the second I’m at the end of my 39th week I will be trying these 🤞🏻🤞🏻 wish me luck ya’ll lol
Eee that’s wild as ultrasound is a rough estimate can be off by 1/2 lbs in either direction at the end of pregnancy. You have every right to deny inducing. I’ve had c section 4 vbacs another c section & planning for another vbac. Ask your provider for facts/ info as research says a min who’s had 1 c section has the same risk for uterine rupture as mom who’s had nun if it’s the smiley face low cut. I was told years ago it wasn’t safe to go past 39weeks having had a prior c section that isn’t true Pitocin is actually more dangerous & increase risk of uterine rupture, fetal distress & c section as it can make your contractions abnormally strong & last longer than they should.
Almost 35 weeks and GD so he is over 8 pounds. He gets another 2 weeks at most because I can't get a c section or I won't be here anymore due to shock. I have a broken back. I want 2 weeks at least. I'm worried that he will not be able to breathe on his own. I'm just grateful for real sleep the last two days. The squats almost made me piddle myself. 😅
Your videos keep popping up and it makes me wish i was pregnant again. My baby is just 6 months! I had a home birth. This is my secind child. First was hospital. My home birth was amazing! So good that i was ready to do it again straight after. Your videos were so helpful in preparing me. Especially the ones where you talk about what tye partners roll is at each stsge! Great stuff!
I’m 39w + 2. Thank you for this video! I’m already doing some of this like the tea, exercises all pregnancy but definitely I don’t want medical induce. it’s my first baby (wish me luck😂)
Im a mama for 4 children and abt to have 5th one. Id tell you if mama is not active throught out the pregnancy then it gets hard at the end to induce labour. Alot of ppl rest way too much with braxton hicks etc and get scared then utures stops dilation and labour pain prep. Both. Keep moving keep being active. I ate 2 to 3 dates and nuts from start of my pregnancy and only stopped as i was dilated 3cm at 35 weeks and will start again after 37 weeks. Its completely each persons body type. Listen to ur body and then do it. But with my 4th one i did all exercises was 4cm dilated nothing worked and i was contracting still no pain . So they asked for induction i said no, id rather have my water broken 1st and see that way. And that worked for me and i kept moving around , and exercising until they came to me and i was 8cm to almost 10cm and it took 1.5 hr to delivery the baby at 39 weeks 3 days.
Today is due date! Ive been drinking raspberry leaf tea, expressing colostrum, using the fun ways to produce oxytocin lol Now im just trying to ease my mind and rest Patiently waiting for baby & body to fall in sync

I don’t really want to induce but I don’t want to risk it and force a c section. I’m so surprisingly comfortable that I feel like my baby can easily go past their due date. Unfortunately it’s not recommended for me.
Hey just because your doc wants to induce you doesn't mean you have to let them.
Come to the point directly 😢
Im on my 5th. Im 38 weeks 4.5 cm dilated 80%effaced i want to try anything at this point. I been in prodrominal labor and it sucks
A lifesaver I am at 40 weeks and they planning an induction in 40+4 because of GDM
I heard that having sex induces labor.
Anyone else have debilitating pins and needles in their hands? I just want to be able to labor without excruciating hand pain.
Yes I am also experiencing this, at night. It’s impossible to sleep through!
Painful wrists....makes it almost impossible to hold things. Worried i might not be able to hold baby when time comes. But i hear sometimes it goes away after birth so heres to hoping it does.
Waiting that long is really pointless. No baby is going to stay that long, and certainly no doctor will wait on a baby after that time either. Definitely after 38 weeks at the latest. I have been induced twice, I really want to happen naturally this time but I won't be waiting that long
You should always do what feels best for you.
Length of physiological pregnancy is 40 weeks, 38 week is premature
@@HoneyMatyNot true, baby is full term from 37weeks
@@HoneyMatyNot true at all. I got the green light at 37 weeks
