Belly Binding After Birth
Have you heard of Bengkung Belly Binding before?
I started wearing mine at 2 weeks postpartum and felt immediately supported after putting it on. I wore it 8-10 hours a day but some experts say you can wear them as long as you’re comfortable and as soon as you give birth, which is when you will need the most support. On the flip side, it’s important not to wear it too long so that your muscles can strengthen themselves naturally.
Some of the other benefits to belly binding are:
- Supports uterus return to pre-pregnancy size
- Compression from the wrap can aid in flushing out postpartum bleeding
- Pelvic Support - Helps move the relaxin hormone out of the body
- Supports posture for breastfeeding and general activity
- Has been linked to dissuading the “baby blues”
- Belly Support
- Supporting Recovery in Diastasis Recti
- Back Support
You can find the wraps on Etsy by searching for Bengkung Belly Wrap.

The Secrets to Handling Any Birthing Scenario
I’m not a mama, but Thank you for educating me 💞💞💞. You’re a very beautiful strong mama 🩷
theres something like christian hypnobirthing??
One of my friends has had inductions both times she’s given birth, once because she had preeclampsia and the second because they were worried about birth restriction growth, and in neither case did she have a c-section or even an epidural. The first time was hard and intense because of the urgency from preeclampsia, but the second was not as bad because they started with the lowest amount and worked up. You do actually have control over what they’re doing when you’re in the hospital. But, there are certain hospitals that will push c-sections over everything-a different friend had to deal with that stress, in which a she was totally in but the doctor was insisting and her husband had to really shut him down.
Yes! Grateful for the is info, and the level of detail and explanation and direction you provided around it. I did not know about this topic until recently, but this was the most detailed and informative video explaining it I’ve come across. I feel like I understand it now, in addition to knowing it is a good thing to do - and I will do everything I can to make this happen for my birth when it comes time. Thank you!
Oh yes it was for me. My body doesn’t deal with pain well and it was hell, but it was sure better than an epidural. Recovery was much easier but that pain was intense. 😅
Your videos helped me have an amazing first birth! 80%mental 20%physical. Faith is 100% what got me through 🩷 thank you and bless you
Wanted to thank you for this video! This story gave me faith and courage to deliver my frank breech baby in October! With God we can do all things! Definitely had a supernatural birth experience as well 🙏

Really appreciate you sharing this information. Will check out your program as well.
Let me go get my pen for notes! So good!
I’m so mad I only find out this video during Labor 😢
My water breaking at 38 weeks was my only sign of labour with my 1st (did an induction the next morning because labour didn't progress). Now, I'm laying in bed during my 2nd pregnancy, at 39 weeks, with towels everywhere just in case 😂
My provider for my last pregnancy tired to fear-monger me about a potential home birth. My husband and I also heard her talking to a nurse about my personal medical info in the hall where anyone could hear. I switched to an amazing midwife who encouraged and supported me.
What are the ways they check the station of the baby?
I've had two c sections not willing with this one, most of my sections were avoidable but back 5 years ago I was so uneducated and took advantage of and my second they were understaffed and didn't want to even give me the chance to try alot of these doctors try to put fear into you saying that your baby might not make it but in reality they don't want to wait on baby to make an entrance so they try to schedule you before you or your baby are even ready which puts more stress on mama and baby especially postpartum mama's don't let these doctors run you or your birth plan education is everything and you push your plan on them
Hi, can I wrap my belly after 6 months postpartum and who have Diastasis recti. Thanks in advance for replying
They sheduled me for a c-section tommorrow, and my mucus plug came out this morning, so I am probbly going to avoid it! I am exactly 41 weeks tommorow and 1.st baby.Basically I am being pushed to do it since I am “overdue” and baby hasn’t dropped. But he is head down for 2 months now and I just know it will happen naturally so I hope by tommorrow I go into active labour since I am going for a sheduled c-section and have not prepared or anything hoping I dilated now…Dr.told me I am not dilated at all at 38 weeks and this was her reason to push for a c-section which is bizzare to me knowing what I know! Fingers crossed my son comes tommorow naturally!
How did it go? This is why I declined cervical checks during my pregnancies and only had them check periodically during labor.,They don’t mean anything! I had one friend who was not dilated at all at one of her visits, but went into labor and had her baby that night. Another friend was 4 centimeters dilated for weeks
I'm due today and just found you last night. Been feeling so much better about labor since watching a few of your videos❤
Im pregnant with my first! Its exciting but i am nervous about Labor. WIill the doctor let us try these different positions cuss i always thought when you give birth its just on your back
Will the doctors let us be in these positions though? Genuine question???
I wish I could do this, I’m allergic to the cold 😮💨
Be straightforward
Thank you for these wonderful videos! Got my vba2cs by remembering that my body is amazing, not broken, and the risks were so low. One of the best days of my life was pushing with all my might, feeling my baby literally fly out... And opening my eyes to find him crying on my chest.
It's really helpful to hear the contrast of the two stories
Come to the point directly 😢
But doctors says don’t close legs na
My day was super chill and nothing different. Come 10pm, I thought I had a trickle of water after my bath. Few min later contractions hit like a bus. Bloody show a few min later. I had my baby within 50 min.
I was in laboring on hands and knees in the hospital bed when the baby was crowning, and one of the nurses tackle-pushed me onto my back. At the time, I thought it was kinda funny, but now I think that was kinda messed up.
May I ask why don’t you start cloth diapers until after the umbilical cord falls off ?
Have you had baby yet? If so congrats mama 🎉🎉❤️
Immediately just a few minutes in , and this video brought me so much joy. Halleluyah!!!! Praise YAH 🙌🏽🙏🏽 ! Glad mama and family are okay 💕🙏🏽 and pray they continue to do well. I enjoyed this testimony so much. I am not yet with child , but aspire to be and granted I’ve had some fears surrounding it but being apart of your channel in just a few videos helps. Having faith is 🔑 ! Yah will always make a way.
Thanks for all the knowledge you gave in the videos. Delivered a healthy baby normally. Credit goes to you as well and God 🎉
I just had a normal birth thanks to all the information you give in your videos. I was able to breath through each contraction and at the same time remember the Lord we call Waheguru. Thank you so much I really grateful to your videos. Your an amazing blessed person. Delivered a healthy baby.
My doctor literally forced me to push on my back. I wanted to be on all fours and he claimed he doesn’t know how to deliver the baby that way. I’m still mad to this day, that man ruined my birth experience 😡 Great video! Ladies, have someone in your labor room to advocate for you!!!!
How long does it have to be?
❤ see this right here makes me believe that I can give birth at home unassisted this is my 5th an my last 2 birthing experiences were very pressured scare tactics were thrown forced to get epidural but I had all 4 vaginally so I feel like I can do this on my own with out their pressure an stress
I'm in early centimetres dilated I'm glade I came across this video, with my second birth I had him standing up but he came out in 3 unassisted pushes and I didn't tear but this pregnancy I'm carrying bigger and don't want to stand I rather be on my hands and knees, I will keep everyone posted how this position worked for me compare to the standing position.
No matter how prepared your are it’s still very painful idk why I’m doing this a 10th time 😂
to God be ALL of the Glory!!!!!
What’s the wrap dimensions
What would you suggest if I live 1.5 hours away from the hospital?.. 5-1-1?
Get a hotel, that may help!
A water birth for the transition labour
If you need to use the toilet, can you just roll it up and the fix it back roll it down..or take it off and again? I knwo dumb question ...but!
Is there a way to perform counter pressure if there’s no support person?
These days especially in the US women are having horrible experiences going to the hospital.... im a white woman and they almost let me die😢 Im about 7 weeks pregnant now and i will be having a home or birthing center birth❤❤❤❤
I wish I heard this before. I had an unpleasant experience with my first delivery, now I am going through everything for my 2nd.
