- How the Soul King communicates with Squad Zero! In this video I theorise the communication method of the Soul King. The linchpin of the three realms, his existence and mode of communication remains shrouded in mystery, guarded by the secretive Zero Division. How does a being, seen as a mere puppet, convey his will? Is Ichibē Hyōsube truly in tune with the Soul King’s desires?

Kubo really is a genius with creating a character like Ichibei that raises so many discussions on his intentions.
Ichibei abandoning his plan to forcefully turn Ichigo into the new linchpin was not out of sympathy for him. It was a pure pragmatic decision as Ichigo could still be a useful asset to the soul society. Regarding the current manga situation.
From her presentation I feel like Senjumaru is a femme fatale. There’s a lot of bad blood between her and Mayuri due to a long lost story.
Really simple answer for the "will of the soul king" it's simply whatever ichibei deems necessary. Whenever it favors his own actions, it's the will of the soul king, whenever it goes in defiance of his actions, his will is unknown.. He works in mysterious ways... Yeah sure
It might not be entirely false though. Soul King appears to have a higher level of Almighty than even Yhwach as seen with his 4 pupils as opposed to Yhwach's 3, and yet when he was being turned into the linchpin he didn't resist at all even though he would've seen the attack coming from a mile away and had more than enough power to stop it. Keep in mind he's also in a state of limbo where he's not entirely dead or alive, and given his immense power, as well as the fact that Squad 0 have their bones infused with the Oken, it's not entirely out of the question that the Soul King can communicate to some level with the outside world, or even affect the events that occur.

That is too simple an answer. And a tired one.
Doesn't that make him the real soul king ? For all intent and purposes at least. It's him that tells the story of the soul king, he gives everything and everyone their true name, he hands down the will of the soul king. He is the real soul king.
He did willingly give himself up to the noble families more than likely knowing what was going to happen since he has the almighty.
It's certainly Ichibei's manipulations. Take note of how even the other members of Zero Squad where taken aback and reduce to stunned silence when he recounted the mutilation of the King, particularly him cooperating and complying with all of the ancestor's demands only for them to still mutilate him. The King's essence ferociously attacking all Shinigami while sparing everyone else is telling. The ancestors where usurpers, whatever the King had planned for the humanity he was honestly protecting was completely scuttled by them.
I feel like the soul king being above all would know what might happen and maybe since he wanted to keep peace and protect humanity, he voluntarily gave up to achieve that peace. ichibe might be an extension of the soul king even since he was keeping it as the soul king would have wanted the realms to be. they may have made ichigo a soul kings replacement incase ywach would not be able to be used for that. one thing I might say is in the bleach verse there are consequences to having too much power, soul king having power he was left in a suspended state and when captains die their souls are sent to hell since theyre too powerful.

Ichibei, like Urahara, does whatever they feel is necessary to maintain the current world order. He's probably in line with the original nobles as by using the Soul King as a figure head for his decisions, he is able to stay in this position of power and maintain his ideal world. The Soul King is a battery keeping the worlds together. He could even very well be dead, as Yhwach's corpse ends up replacing him anyway, and still working fine.
And the series hints that Ichibei was in line with the original nobles in a few ways:
-Firstly, in CFYOW, we don't learn about the history of the Soul King from a reliable narrator. Ichibei is the one who tells it to us (not the narrator), and it is written in 3rd person so we don't know his thoughts.
-Then, in episode 24 of TYBW, when Ichibei shows Yhwach visions of the dissection of the Soul King, you can see a frame of Ichibei looking down on the Soul King's body with a menacing grin.
... thinking about it, after TYBW, wouldn't Squad 0 be suffering a living hell after?
As Yhwach as the lynch pin, Yhwach would make sure Squad 0 suffers through their bones all the hate he has for them.

Because he's a hybrid of all races like him and one day could be as powerful as him in his prime. Along with being a candidate that could take his place.
@@Dusty-gm3ig Not to mention he could have been the true creator of Ichigo in a sense. He had a higher level of the Almighty than Yhwach, who could alter the future. The SK probably didn't resist being sealed because he had set up everything that happened afterward.

I like the theory that Ichibei is in possession of the mouth or voice of the soul king. His power over names and through them, reality, seems like something the soul king might have been capable of. It would make sense that someone like Ichibei would not just let other people have pieces of the soul king without keeping one or more for his own use. We even have confirmation of that when we were shown he had the hand in the anime. Plus, it would explain how he can somehow “hear” the will of the soul king. Whether he actually follows it though, is another matter.
That would make him immune to the Almighty, which he wasn’t
So the soul king doesn't have authority in Hell realm...

The king transcended his physical form. The zero division makes up pieces of the soul king. I am convinced that Ichibe is just trying to hold 💩 together. Why he wants to hold them together could be explained by simply saying to keep things together. Why does Ichibe fear things falling apart, if he is so damn strong? Where is your empathy, if you care about the big picture? If he is in fact a fraction of the soul king by force or choice; perhaps he can only exhibit the fraction with which he is endowed. The same way the same way all Quincy are given power by Y. All soul reapers power came from The King. The powers are in fact his powers. He recognizes himself, when he see Ichigo. Having the power of the four different powers in the Bleach world. Ichigo is the Soul King, closer than even Y. Ichigo was even chosen as Champion by the guardians in hell. It’s closer to enlightenment than a power surge. Ichiho showing his level of spiritual maturity from the very beginning, however naive. Accepting responsibility for all, makes Ichigo the real soul king.
Look at the Reio like David or Sinbad from Magi, they are willing to throw away their lives over the course of tens, hundreds; even millions of years in order to guide reality and fate in a certain direction.
In a sense, he foresaw everything including Ichibei's plans and knew all along that he would be killed and absorbed by Yhwach, but in the end, the "throne" of Reio will not remain empty for very long.
However, it could even go further with Hell having awakened as a result of his death.
Maybe that's what he wanted all along, who knows.
I do think he had a plan. Everything from his sealing to the Hell stuff that happened after so many souls were sent there following the TYBW. Hell seems to be outside of the three worlds created from the original one, so it may be something that still has to be dealt with in order to achieve the better world he seemed to want for humans. Aizen and Urahara bringing about the Hogyoku, Ichigo's creation, Yhwach's actions, it all led to what's happening now, and the one being that almost certainly knew in advance was the SK.

I don't know why people ignore the fact that, a guy can see all future possibilities threatened on multiple occasions to ruin Ichigo's and his friends' lives when they least expect it, even though he was fighting to win.
Why would be make such a claim if he knew that he would win?
Also, the fact that Ichigo's son somehow seems connected to hell, Yhwach and by extension the Reio... I don't think Yhwach planned to win in the first place, I think he foresaw his loss but with it a greater win down the line.
For a being like Yhwach, mutilating him isn't much of an issue considering he was born with literally nothing to begin with, and so he could just regain everything if he's freed from the seal.
Much like how the Gotei needed Aizen's help in defeating the Quincy, they very well might come to need Yhwach for whatever threat Hell poses.

If The Soul King(TSK) turns peoples bones into Oken then TSK must be able to affect those bones afterwards, including their skulls. I propose that TSK can vibrate their skulls and that virabration will be conducted to their eardrums. You know like bone conduction headphones? So TSK literally still has a voice to all who gain the Oken.
The "zero" division named after their effectiveness in the final arc. What a disappointment they were.

Where did hell come from? In the anime he hints to the fact that Soul King wanted Itchigo to be brought there to fix his bankai. Who made the decision to bring Itchigo to the palace to fix his bankai? In the anime you hear him say so your awake soul king.

Ichibei has one job to protect the integrity and stability of the three realms. Therefore, he will do absolutely anything he deems necessary in order to do that. Whether his actions are good or evil is just a matter of perception.
The SK's Almighty makes me wonder if he was the one who set up the events in the first place. It would be funny if we first had Aizen claiming he created Ichigo, then Yhwach showed up claiming the same thing, then it gets revealed that they both only played a part in the future chosen by the SK via the Almighty. With how Yhwach can grant completely ridiculous abilities to people, I wouldn't be surprised if the hougyoku exists because the SK wanted it to, as it would lead to the events with Masaki and Ichigo's creation. We still don't even know what that thing really is.

The reiatsu/reishi is a system which is better then nen! But the anime FUCKED this up. I ve been in bleach mindset for 2 yrs now and watch and rewatch videos so many times over and still learn new things and from this...Ichibei feels to evil...which make me believe he isn't...the flash back in cour 2 confirmed it...ichibei eyes weren't one of evil but rage over what he saw happen the reio...if ywhbach and aizen can talk thru reiatsu...why can't the reio with squad zero.

Hell is the remains of the original world, which precedes the SK, and is basically cut off
