- This is a compilation of all of the character analysis that I have done on the individual Zero Division members. This includes: Kirio Hikifune, Ichibe Hyosube, Oetsu Nimaiya, Tenjiro Kirinji & Senjumaru Shutara. This is for anyone who wants a convenient way to watch all of the BLEACH Squad Zero chgaracter analysis videos in one place.

"You come cryin to us because you cannot do your jobs?" Was always such a BS statement. I mean he came off like this was just some battle they lost and not that this was a war and they were about to be next on the list. It was this statement that I actually was glad to see the Zero Division get their asses handed to them.
This. This . This. 👍👍👍 I haven't been a fan of zero squad. I have to say Kubo did a good job of showing their arrogance just because they are in charge of protecting the Soul King. I wasn't cheering for them at all. I was happy they lost too.

I honestly love ichibei. He isn't human so his morals obviously aren't the same as he's basically a minor God. While not right for Ichigo you gotta think what's one life compared to all of existence
The thing is we are human and he is sentient so we WILL put our morals onto him.

@@stanclark8824 They aren’t really that close at all. Ichibei’s shikai was able to overwhelm Yhwach and his Bankai did double that. He forced Yhwach to use his most broken ability which Yamamoto couldn’t do. When you think about it, Ichibei is levels ahead of Yamamoto. Almost everyone from squad zero is.
@@Joseph05227ah, okay. that's why they are squad zero. brokenest OP unfair power using squad characters out of all of the characters besides the sternritters. ichibei, I could see nearly, instantly killing Yamamoto. yama has broken abilities, but the monk, would kill him before he could use his bankai.

I don't believe in what i'm going to say, but what if ichigo wins his battles due to orihime spaming his name, for example: his fight against grimmjow

Not really, calling his name doesn't actually boost anything it was just him having conflict about utilizing his vizard power in front of orihime but when orihime assured ichigo, he finally uses his full power against grimmjow
It seems like the zero division has a common theme among its members of having a dualistic, contrasting nature in their personality or literal appearance.

Thanks for the video. Always a good wind down to a bleach breakdown. Also, the current thumbnail art is amazing, the thinner, angrier Ichibe is better then anime. It would lend better too his place in the whole story. ( see Tenjiro: " even my hot spring couldn't wash away 'his' bloody stench" and Ichibe holding the Soul King's body w/ glowing eyes during the flashback during cour 2 ).

You have to recognize oetsu too. Yhwach just has stupidly OP abilities to have revived the royal guard after been one shot by oetsu.

One of their earliest mentions was in regards to the Menos Grande, which was never brought up again. It could've been changed as the story evolved, but I'd like to think that Menos are the raw materials each of the Royal Guard use for their creations or major projects. After all, the nature of a Gillian is a bit like an Asauchi when you think of it. If they're used in the creation of shihakusho as well, then maybe the visual similarity between Menos and Shinigami isn't a coincidence. I could even see their nature as a blank slate formed from countless souls being used to create Artificial & Mod Souls
I don't know if that's necessarily true, since shinigami are so separate from hollows. After all in the TYBW the shinigami have to infuse themselves with hollow reiatsu to reclaim their bankai, so it's unlikely they originated from hollows. However it could be that the Gillians are transformed completely from their hollow nature in the process, thus explaining the reason the hogyoku can impart hollow and shinigami powers to the opposite beings. So it's interesting and not impossible.

i hope they will draw and animate ichigo's full face during the gran rey cero scene. cause in the manga it's just half of his face. full face drawing of that panel would look cold as hell as a wallpaper.
Ichibei was the only squad Zero that we saw go all out. that needs to change in the anime.
So Ichibei is seen as evil for partaking in mutilating the Soul King and keeping the status quo of the current universe in check. Ichibei was there to witness Prime Soul King kill hollows which regressed the universe back into chaos...the Soul King was literally destroying the universe and hollows at the same time. It is through the sealing of the Soul King that the 5 Ancestors and Ichibei were able to create the 3 realms and bring about balance and peace...the current cycle of life / death / rebirth. And y'all are mad at Ichibei for helping create the universe as it is now? Without Ichibei, there would no longer be a universe because it would have been returned to chaos and implode on itself.

I have to believe that they are all alive and will have big parts in the next arc. It's crazy to me that these characters would be hyped up so much and we don't even get their bankai's. They must be saving them

Damn, I had no idea Ichibei had those plans for Ichigo when he got defeated by Yuha. Ichibei in design is one of my favorite characters, in appearance and his crazy ass zanpakuto. :( sad

I have come to terms with the fact that Squad zero members were promoted more for their innovation and indispensability to Soul society, than their martial prowess. They still remain the strongest Shinigami but boy did the Schutzstaffel clean them up like paid hitmen.

I always thought it was stupid that you get invited to the guard for inventing one thing important to S.S, yet Yama invented TWO of them and didn't get in.

probably. he is the strongest in the show. even Ichigo couldn't beat him. he had to be sealed away and still can't be killed hahaha yhwach was the only match for him, but if I remember correctly he got hit by an attack on purpose to help Ichigo out and then got absorbed by the dark mass and also lost an arm. so many people kept losing their arm in this arc.

Imho the biggest let down in tybw. We have done nothing but hear how great the Royal guard is just for the Royal guard to mostly act overconfident (like many members of the soul society shinigami) and lose in brutal fashion.
They kinda suck in that regard
It's not that they lost is why I don't like them but how much Kubo could had given the coverage to the Visords. Or not have the Royal Guards to be so cocky.

Ichigo feels obligated to Soul Society, and it goes back all the way to Isshin and the fact they even let him live and be with a fucking QUINCY WOMAN (as Toshiro and Rangiku both know) so it isn’t always that Ichigo is “bootlicking” moreso he is just an extension of his father. However you could call Orihime and Chad bootlickers since they are only cool with Seireitei bc Ichigo is 🤣🤣
As far as how “evil” the shinigami are, pretty much there is no true good and evil when you look at every single group of ppl in Bleach. Everything is a grey area and EVERYONE says and does foul shit. No matter what would have happened with Ichigo, you could always make the case that he is playing for the wrong side. Bc no one is truly right. Like cmon, why the fuck does EVERYONE want to have something to do with the one very being that is keeping balance with EVERY SINGLE FASCET OF LIFE? That was also made into such with the most cruelest of ways 🤦🏽♂️

For the evil part just look at how kubo written the Arrancars and look how the Quincys are written the Quincys look like bunch of blood thirsty Monsters that love backstabbing each other and nothing more we don't even have back storys for them kubo deliberately butchered the Quincys to make the soul reapers look good just look at the old ss Arc the soul reapers are night and day difference from the TYBW Arc ichigo have no reason to defend those people that tried to kill him other than the plot making him dumb and a bootlicker for the sake of soul reapers

We as the readers know that soul reapers are evil the problem is ichigo is the only mf that thinks that soul reapers are god when they are seeing him as nothing more than a piece of meat to replace the soul king his behavior doesn't make sense besides kubo makes sure the evil soul reapers look good for the sake of the story

To me, Ichibe represents the concept of believing in necessary evil. To him, all the immoral things he might have to do are justified to preserve the world as it is, as he believes the alternative is worse.
ye honestly Ichibe WON first round, but Yhwh just was too op with his hax abiliies. as a quincy, Yhwh lost. as a God, he won against Shinigami god.

Tbh they both have OP hax abilities. Even with all yhwach did to him after awakening the Almighty, he still survived long enough to call Ichigo to call his full name thus putting himself back together. That's crazy OP ability not to talk of his insanely broken zanpaktou abilities. Anyone asides yhwach in that situation would have been destroyed by ichibei's abilities "in that particular moment".

There’s needs a bunch of prequels to bleach the original gotei 13 the the first fight between old man Yamamoto and leader of the quinces and many more the balancers creation of the zero division the possibilities are endless and would be so awesome to watch anime show or movie
Just a comment on the thumbnail art, but Ichibei looks too angry and not manic enough. I think his brow is too furrowed, and his eyes aren't lightless enough.
Zero divison members should be more powerful than any other shinigami... Atleast they have the power to overpower schutztaffel. Im dissatisfied with that.
lets be honest and not forget bleach was actually canceled by shonen jump i rember reading bleach when it was still ongoing and all of a sudden we got the info that there are 5 more chapters until the finally caught everyone of guard we can assume shonen told kubo during the TYBWA that he has X amount of chapters/weeks until bleach gets taken off wich would make sense while fights were drasticlly cut short left & right he didnt get the luxury like naruto to let THE FINAL arc play out the thought of canning a series in his final arc which is crazy in itself(if it was actually the final arc who knows cause there was potantionl for a hell arc) which hurt bleach funny enough mightve helped naruto cause kumo wouldve prob left kaguya out lol

No matter how many times I reread Bleach.....I can't seem to give a damn about these guys. And could never like their designs. Hikifune being nice and motherly helps her character alot so she cool. Nimaya....hm...he's ok-ish
Oetsu and Ichibei bring much needed lore to the series so I will always appreciate them more for that. And at least Oetsu did something and actually came across as a threat to the viewer at first before the script flipped instantly.
I like their design. I like the lore. But I didn't like their arrogance towards the SS. This might be a low point for me when this gets animated because I just don't care for zero division at all.
