Weeping Podocarpus available at Earth Works Garden Center

Matt Barlow, discusses the Weeping Podocarpus, Podocarpus gracilior a soft foliage drooping limb variety of the popular podocarpus. Whereas the more common varieties are used as hedges and bed plants these weeping podocarpus are single trunk trees with a slow to moderate growth rate. They can reach thirty plus feet in height with a dense dark green canopy. They prefer full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. Fertilize with balanced all purpose shrub fertilizer in Spring, Summer, and Fall. USDA Hardiness zones 9a-11.
