Good guys…? Cyrax gets his hard drive corrupted. Kung Lao’s neck gets twisted. Kitana, Jade, Kuai-Liang, Smoke, Kabal, Stryker, and Jax are slaughtered. Nightwolf offed himself. Then Liu Kang gets his body roasted.
Raiden, Johnny, and Sonya were literally lucky.

Actually bad guys died too, Shang Tsung got fused with Sindel (basically died) Raiden killed Motaro on bridge, Sindel got killed by Nightwolf and at the end Shao Kahn got killed by Raiden through Elder Gods

Funny, because with the way a lot of the cutscenes played out with the engine, that is pretty much what every character did in the entire game

@@scottchaison1001 I am not necessarily saying that it was bad. But pointing out how in many of MK9's cutscenes of the story mode. The models for the characters kind of seem a little stiff or restrictive at times. Or that they are not as expressive or emotive compared to later games
The part with Sindel stull pisses me off. I refuse to believe that she was able to takeout the entire MK roster, especially considering who the other fighters are and what they've done.

Kinda funny how Jax brings up his arms during the talk about earths defence. Cause in the last timeline they weren't ripped off, he willingly got them transformed into his iconic metal arms.
Imagine being so mad at somebody for waking you up out of your sleep that you make their arms explode. Ermac wild for that one.

Spam teleports and uppercuts as Raiden
I remember it taking weeks for me and my uncle to beat him. My uncle would play for like 16 hours straight, and nothing would work.
And then one day I just Googled for advice, and spamming Raiden teleports made it one of the easiest battles in the game...
The same thing happened to us in Ninja Gaiden ii with the flying silver worm Gigadeath in chapter 3. Weeks and weeks of struggle... and then one Google search telling us to just use arrows🙃
Started my gamerdom a bit late...this was my first REAL experience with Mortal Kombat. I had played some of the older MK's as a kid, but not much. I was much more into Street Fighter (SF2-T). So I bought this game as I'd heard it was pretty good and ended up being blown away by the story mode. Ive been in love with the franchise ever since!
I love how the 3d graphic rendering was so smooth oh, and the motion of the art really brought to life it's surroundings. The software engine really displayed the advancement of its time and era, the memory capacity really made it easy for players to store amounts of game data. In conclusion the game was aight😂😂😂😂😂

Bro that scorpion fight near the ending of the story was so freaking impossible,i literally smashed my PS3 controller and my parents didn’t let me buy another until I got enough money for one a I ended up getting enough money and I then ended up beating scorpion a month later

Little did Liu Kang and Shang Tsung know that they would be fighting over who gets to create universes in MK 11...
A lot of Pain and suffering could've been avoided if Raiden convinced Scorpion to kill Quan Chi, had Sonya kill Kano, Cyrax kill Sector, and Liu Kang punch the Heart out of Shang Tsung after winning the first tournament. I think Shao Khan would still try to invade but at a considerable disadvantage. Liu Kang would still kill Shao Kahn but he ain't got nobody to heal him. Only loss would've been Kung Lao. Considering what happens later in the story, this seems pretty optimal.

Don't leave out the fact that Raiden killed everyone in this game... Well, technically, not everyone, Sindel basically kills everyone excluding Johnny and Sonya. Nightwolf killed himself and Sindel for killing everyone. Nevertheless, he got only two people killed. Don't believe me? Keep watching. You'll soon find out if I'm right or wrong.

You and I both know that this story is how MKX and MK11 are timelessly created. Wait, that didn't make sense. All I'm saying is that a lot of people are lying about Raiden never killing anyone. He even sent Kung Lao to face Shao Kahn. The guy snapped his neck and Liu Kang shoved his fist in his stomach. Brutal. He wanted to face Shao Kahn, but Raiden stopped him and there was an added result in Liu Kang getting killed by Raiden. So, there you have it. My response to your comment and a reason why people should rewatch the MK9 story and see if they're wrong. You have people that lie about the story mode of this game, don't you?
