technically yes, it is possible for a person to have that strength, but our bones and skin would tear apart first since they are not designed to take that load
9:08 @Scott Forsythe It's easy to grow up big when you're not born poor and starving. That Texan's "natural strength" is nothing more than a product of an easy life that was handed to him. He didn't even deny the fact that he didn't grow up having to survive.
@Jethus: the forgotten brother of jesus , because unlike other story media, we follow majorly one character's perspective at all times. You can't shift from antagonist to protagonist in view, in most games. Yeah, cutscenes exist, but most people play a game to play a game So, if you don't want to let the main villain keep meeting the MC, you can pull of something like this
Ephesians 6:10-18 says, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. It's also more strongly based in logic, reason, and principles. It really wish we had Armstrong and Raiden as the two candidates in the presidential race right now.

I think probably the most impressive thing about Armstrong is how he's able to keep his glasses on for this entire fight without them flying off or being broken.
3:13 I love it when Raiden opens a tiny smile after realizing he managed to dodge and keep his chin intact for once Just to have it wiped on the floor two seconds afterwars
Shit i never noticed that i always thought he was like wtf hod did he break my sword what will i do now. I ve seen this too many times and would never noticed it
I like that as soon as he thinks that raiden is coming around he is gentle and respectful, Kinda shows that he isnt just blindly monologueing and trying to kill, hes actually trying to make a point.
8:00 I love how he's immediately like 'Oh shit sorry I beat you up, let me help you up, clean you a bit.' just immediately sees him as a friend and respects him.
Because Jack put up such a good fight, Armstrong could definitely see him as a powerful ally if he could convince him to switch sides. But Jack's resolve is just as strong as Armstrong's.
can someone explain to me how raiden struggled as hell in this fight with his sword but then suddenly from nowhere beat the shit out of armstrong unnarmed like nothing after his sword had broken, makes the sword look pretty bad does it not?
I sincerely hope that technology progresses to the point where one person in biomechanical armor can punch another person in biomechanical armor so hard that the airliner-sized piece of machinery under him explodes and leaves a crater, but neither of them are harmed. That would be great.
If technology dose reach to that point I'd say it would most likely be in 2030. I'm not sure tbh it's a cool concept however if anyone had powers like the senator we'd possibly be in serious danger. I'm the type of person who trys to make games have a little bit of realism so I played on revengeance mode because that's how it would be in reality one hit and you're dead, not to mention that you won't have self repair units. Plus in one of the Codec the doctor says that just because you're a cyborg it does not automatically give you the ability to pull off all those moves. I know this is just a video game but I'm trying to see how it would really work in reality.
Me: "Why the heck is a American senator doing a sumo move as his entrance?" *remembers that my favorite MGS game is MGS3 and that has a Russian general doing a Japanese proverb as his catchphrase for no apparent reason* Me: "You know what? Never mind."
Alternate-alternate ending: Credits begin to roll and the screen fades to black on the hug, then you hear the “You’re batshit insane!” line, the video comes back on and the game continues as normal.
Post-credit scene is them compromising where they want to, acknowledging the strengths of each other's arguments while agreeing to drop the parts that don't work, and ushering in a genuine golden age.
i didnt notice that it was a field goal sound effect 😭i shouldve known even after completing this game long back the only reason they would have that sound effect was because they talked about football
8:00 Armstrong is very reasonable all things considered. When he thought Raiden agreed with him he helped him up, brushed him off, even let him lean against him when he thought Raiden was losing his balance. He has a dominating personality, but with Sam and Raiden, he gave them the chance to join him. He's not so stubborn as to ignore talent and skills.
> appears in 1 cutscene and is mentioned in 1 codec call. > brought up at the end of the game after killing sundowner, the guy who murdered the president > makes a bunch of iconic lines, some of which being ahead of their time > makes an actual point while still being a villain > becomes more well known than the protagonist, raiden > becomes the perfect final boss for the end of the MG timeline > refuses to elaborate further > senator grindset
Armstrong literally absorbed energy from his machine 10 seconds before raiden said that. How can he think that Armstrong had no cybernetic enhancements?
@@proxymaster5451 maybe i understood it wrong but they discused in the codec calls that they didnt know about his cyber enhancements. but i think raiden noticed when he was sucking up the energy, but was still confused rightfully so. imagine seeing the us senator making a weird pose and then sucking up the energy of a giant robot and raming into you lol
@@proxymaster5451 That's where the developers messed up REALLY BAD. Imagine how much more impactful and amazing this whole fight would have been if Armstrong hadn't done his stupid absorption thing? Raiden, and by extension you the player, would be so caught off guard.
I like how Armstrong has aspects of being a sympathetic villain. Not EVERYTHING he's saying is wrong, but it's too idealistic to be true, and his methods are very polluted. Also I love how this is such a satisfying interpretation of ridding of a politician you dislike.
@RARAYAYA RAA Did you not read my comment? My point is that he's clearly yearning for a better America...but that his methodology is completely nonsense.
@RARAYAYA RAA *facepalm* Because he clearly cares about his country & the people in it. However, his ideas are corrupt and therefore he's still a villain.
@RARAYAYA RAA I think armstrong is diffrent cuz he was simply nieve. In his vision everybody is perfectly honorable and strives for honest improvment when in reality a lot of people are trecherous shits like raiden. Its quite intelligent writing if you ask me. You can see that when he bests raiden he picks him up only to be attacked by someone he though he made peace with. He compliments his rise from poverty when In reality he probably stabbed a lot of people in the back to get in front of the senitor from his birth, whom foolishly thinks he got there by the sweat of his brow. Armstrong only mistake was overestimating humans cuz quite frankly if everyone was like him in that regrard the world would easily function within his ideals with minimal problems but at the end of the day 80% of us are just arrogant animals that talk and refuse to truly think.
Senator Armstrong continues to prove that people will agree and follow you if you just speak with enough conviction. That's why politics are fucked nowadays, people react way too much to emotion.
Honestly. And the amount of people in the comments saying he's right too after he admitted to wanting to purge the weak. Even when presented as obvious bad guys people believe the guy who can shout the loudest and piss the furthest
he didnt say he is gonna purge the weak he said he wants people to be free to pursue their ideals and the strongest ideals will win which means if a lot of people want to make a nice safe country and nourish the weak into strong they can assert their ideals with strength. He wants man to return to his natural state and start anew to purge the rot and decay of society he sees as irredeemable. Its not a bad take at all, and properly implemented would certainly make America a much better place on the other side.
@@ilyarepin7750 "Making the mother of all omelettes Jack, can't fret over every egg" That line alone implies that he's willing to throw anyone and anything on the mold so that it fits whatever the heck he is making
I still can’t get over how this game focuses so much on the different armor and modifications the characters have to make them strong, and the whole time Senator Armstrong is stomping on Jack, he’s doing it *in goddam dress shoes.*
Games have barely changed since the end of the PS3 generation. Most non-indie games nowadays are just PS3 games running on better hardware, so to speak.
@@garcialyndon1134 games became too focused on graphics, consequently mechanics are put in second. And trying to do both is complicated, cyberpunk tryed to inovate and have insane graphics, look at how that turned out
I like how as Raiden or Armstrong gain an upper hand in their debate. They gain the lead in the physical battle. It gives their arguments more weight and more engaging to watch.
This scene is memorable cuz it's a living meme, fucking insane and hilarious. Complete lack of taste and sanity and big budget, it's like the room of fight scenes.
>fought for what they believed in >broke laws doing so >caused huge amounts of damage >beefy as hell >criticized by their enemies >have abilities that help withstand and give damage >have interacted with huge robots with long arms While all the similarities are there, personally, I believe that Armstrong's character in general is leaning more towards Syndrome's way of thinking.
I think my favorite part of this whole exchange is when Raiden challenges Armstrong's worldview. "You weren't born poor! You've never been hungry! You don't know what it's like to fight, and steal, and kill _just to survive!"_ And I think my favorite part of this is that Armstrong _doesn't_ refute this! He refuses to victimize himself to "beat" Raiden's childhood upbringing and pretend that he's struggled. He fully understands the difference between Raiden's life and his own, as well as his own rich upbringing. And then, as a counter-argument, shows _respect_ for Raiden's strength. "But you *did* survive!" He acknowledges that Raiden did have it worse, and that he's a super badass _because_ of it. And _because_ he struggled and fought and killed his whole life, he deserved to lead the life that he did, thus "proving" Armstrong's original argument to be righteous. Through sheer force of will, by following his own set of rules. With Raiden's own two hands, he became the man that he is. Solid fucking character, dude. Love Armstrong.
And at the same time it further highlights the flaw in Armstrong's logic, which is that Raiden _didn't_ survive and get to where he was just through sheer force of will. He was just another starving street rat in Liberia until he happened to get taken in by Solidus Snake and trained to be the unstoppable killer he is now, with the eventual help of his cyborg body that was forced on him by the Patriots. That's not to say that surviving all of that didn't require an immense force of will. It definitely did. But Raiden very much didn't take back his life with nothing but his own two hands. If Raiden hadn't been lucky(?) enough to get randomly picked by Solidus to be America's Next Top Child Soldier, then it wouldn't have mattered how strong his will was, the only life ahead of him would have been that of a starving street rat in Liberia. Sheer force of will means nothing if you don't have the means to act on it. Raiden understands this, but Armstrong, who has gone his entire life without ever lacking those means to do as he pleases, doesn't. Or maybe he does understand, but he just doesn't care because he's a megalomaniac who wants to bend everyone else to his will. It depends on how genuine you think he's being in his "everyone will be free to fight their own wars" speech. (edit: grammar and formatting)
Just to clarify btw, I also fucking love Armstrong, he's one of my favorite villains to ever exist in a video game, in no small part because of how insanely charismatic he is. Solid fucking character indeed.
@@jimshotfirst4887 nah, any other regular joe schmoe would’ve been in the dirt by now if they had to live even one week of radians life, from child soldier to now, external factors don’t erase the sheer force of will that he has, with all that happened in his life he survived and continues to survive, proving Armstrong’s philosophy
@@kingkunta3753 hey, point to the part where I said that he could have survived without his insane force of will. Trick question, you can't, because I didn't say that, in fact I said the opposite. The point that both you and Armstrong missed is that force of will wasn't what got Raiden out of the streets of Liberia. Solidus Snake was what got him out of the streets of Liberia and set him on the path to what he is now. Yes, Raiden's absolutely insane force of will was 100% necessary for surviving that path, and no normal human being could have done the same. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together can figure that out. But force of will wasn't what trained him to be a child soldier. Force of will didn't give him his cyborg body. No matter how much force of will he had, Raiden never would have risen beyond his life as a street rat if a greater power hadn't plucked him out of it and dropped him into the hellscape of war. He never would have become a super powerful cyborg if a greater power hadn't decided to use him as a lab rat. Force of will was what gave Raiden the strength to seize the opportunities he was given, but it was not the *source* of those opportunities. _That's_ where Armstrong is wrong.
@@jimshotfirst4887 im not saying you didn't say that, i even used the exact wording im just pointing it out again. but this is what im getting at, you kinda miss the part where he still had to survive being a CHILD SOLDIER, a life of constant bloodshed, and eventually becoming a lab rat cyborg, armstrong or raidan for that matter weren't just talking about isolated times, its life in general! greater powers and external factors don't erase that for me, but you may have a fundamentally different view of it all
Now, for those who don’t quite understand, let me explain: Armstrong wishes to end war as a business and create a Social Darwinist utopia, where all the citizens of America fight their own battles and the strong survive while the weak perish. From a certain point of view, his arguments actually do make sense, and considering America, and by extension the world, were until recently controlled by the whims of the Patriot AI, it’s not hard to see where he’s coming from. For what it’s worth, he very much despises the Patriots; in fact, Armstrong is ideologically quite similar to fellow Patriot-hating politician George Sears, AKA Solidus Snake, who coincidentally Raiden also fought. Hell, much like Solidus, Armstrong also has some connection to the creation of child soldiers. Of course, it needs to be noted that while Armstrong definitely makes a good case, he is also a bonafide anti-villain. For those who need clarification, TVTropes describes an anti-villain as “a character with heroic goals, personality traits, and/or virtues who is ultimately villainous. Their desired ends are mostly good, but their means of getting there are evil. Alternatively, their desired ends are evil, but on a personal level they are far more ethical or moral than most villains and they thus use fairly benign means to achieve it, and can be heroic on occasion. They could also be someone or something whose desired ends or means are not necessarily ‘evil’ at all, but their actions simply conflict with that of whoever seems to be the protagonist.” While he does have good intentions and seems to genuinely want to better his country, the fact he resorts to terrorist actions, child soldiers, and ridiculous levels of violence makes him clearly the bad guy. At the end of the day, good intentions just don’t justify bad methods.
And the fact that people are still talking about mgr until this day even 8 fucking years has passed and counting makes it one of the best games of all time. Also as silly and cringy some of the lines are, they're actually really deep and that's what i think makes this game a MASTERPIECE.
His vision of the world also just doesnt work, though his criticism of war as a business is valid. It's not just the means, but the goal is also ethically and logically wrong.
Armstrong actually isn't very good at persuading people. Like he said himself, "I don't write my own speeches". In the Sam DLC he just assumed that Sam would go along with him - reaching out his hand which Sam can't shake back because his has just been smashed - and barrelled on without consideration. He doesn't sell the principles, he just dominates and intimidates weaker-willed people through sheer force of personality. Armstrong just seems so inordinately, childishly delighted that someone actually agreed with him for once and he didn't have to batter something into shape like so many other times - dusting Raiden down, the eager grin, the quick energetic nod - you can tell this is a rare treat for him.
8:20 This shows how awesome Armstrong is. As crazy as he is and as wrong as his ideals are he respects strength above all else. At the slightest hint that Raiden might understand and agree with him he tries to welcome him over to his side, picking him up and shaking his hand. I wish we could see more of Senator Armstrong.
His ideology was right for the world of MGR, that is after the patriot AI the world is being consumed by war, in entertainment, everyday life and no one knows what they are fighting for except personal profit, and behind it all is an AI trying to steer humanity in its direction. The reason Raiden killed Armstrong is due to the sick immoral things he did, using and harvesting children, trampling on the innocent, and as he adopts Armstrongs ideology with his own principles of protecting the weak he becomes "Jack The Ripper" and we never got MGR 2 so F
11:42 I find it hilarious how it seemed like he sent Raiden flying to the stratosphere only to show us that he just landed 3 steps away from Armstrong.
You know whats funny. Someone whos never played any of the MGS games, clicking on this random video in my feed and seeing exactly what im seeing right now. This is insane, I thought this was a mod part way through, this is the funniest shit I think ive ever seen, this game is absurd lol
Ok, I know this comment section is mostly about Armstrong memes, but can I just say that the animation on the nanomachines hardening is amazing looking.
Armstrong literally shows up during the last bit of the game, completely steals the show, and is the sole reason this game is still remembered almost a decade later. THAT'S god tier character design, dialogue, and voice acting right there
The game took me eight hours to beat... except for the Armstrong fight, which no bullshit took me another seven hours. I somehow never realized that I could dodge, or that I could alter my angle in blade mode.
Get the hell out of here. He's not the sole reason AT ALL. He's a big reason, but the opening level, Monsoon, Jetstream Sam, Sundownder, Bladewolf, and Raiden himself, along with the games amazing music and themes of ideals and self awareness, are what makes this game memorable. Saying that it's all Armstrong both disrespects everything else this great game has and singles you out for not understanding how amazing it truly is.

3:08 I love how his chin being unscathed sounded so triumphant, ignoring that his sword was literally just broken with Armstrong's bare hands, and is about to get punched HARD.
My favorite part of this entire thing is how Armstrong never calls in reinforcements or tries to escape at the last minute; he stands his ground against Raiden for the entire fight and almost literally doesn’t give an inch of ground, further solidifying his philosophy of fighting for nothing except your own ideals in order to change the world
Although I think it's dumb. As admirable as it is to have someone like Leonidas holding back hundreds of thousands of enemies, he should have had more help to begin with to stop the Persian invasion. Society is not governed or changed by a single person, and should not be enforced by a single person.
@@somedude9316 Yeah, he was only supposed to delay for a bit for the Spartan council to get their heads together. But he got cut off and couldn't retreat.
Best part of this whole fight is that Armstrong barely gets any buildup before it. You only just find out he's involved maybe a level or two before the end. But he shows up and steals the scene so fucking hard that he becomes the greatest in less than an hour.
Like, the actual buildup throughout the game is the confrontation with Sam, which was badass and memorable, but then Armstrong basically just makes the Spy "Gentlemen" and instantly becomes one of the greatest final bosses of all time
@Alvi Syahri yeah it's totally unexpected. Thats what makes it badass. Then you end up fighting him in the pit while he throws giant robot parts at you.

He was a really cool villain for me.
Cyberium But... Would you like to see people like the leader of china in a fist fight with the leader of Britain, the leader of Nigeria fight the leader of Spain. The leader of USA with the leader Germany. Etc.
I like what this really boils down to is: Raiden cannot associate or feel empathy for anyone that isn't like him, and the entire game is him learning empathy. 1.) Raiden was poor, a tool his entire life, and barely knew who he is. Armstrong was rich, a natural leader, and extremely educated. 2.) Raiden cannot equivocate that someone that separate from him could ever want the same thing, understand him, or want him to understand them, they don't hold the same view they can't be the same. Armstrong WANTS Raiden to understand him, and thinks he understands Raiden, he wants to understand Raiden, and he wants to work together. 3.) Raiden only thinks about the "weak" which in reality means "weaker than me" and nothing of them beyond an excuse to be used for violence. Armstrong wants people to all be strong so that there are no weak people. Break the cycle of violence by forcing civility through power, an armed society is a polite society. He's willing to sacrifice the weakest to make the whole stronger. Raiden refuses to see this as anything beyond soulless predation. All the bosses follow this theme with Armstrong being the biggest separation. All the others he could empathize with because they were child soldiers or as damaged as he was, because Armstrong was never forced to suffer, he assumed he could hold no compassion. The song nails it home too. They were just trying to make history.
Your argument is very interesting! People find it easy to misinterpret this game. The weak and strong is not about poor or rich. He denies this by praising that Raiden fought with his own hands and got to where he is despite all the difficulties, that is BEING STRONG. Sam gives the definition of weak in the DLC while talking to Steven in the elevator. Thinking he was just another one who sends soldiers to fire while he stays in the office. In the end, he gets there and there is Steven himself, in which Sam says he judged him wrongly. The weak is also defined in Steven's words before he dies, "people who fight for causes they don't believe in, for things they don't understand". I love the fact that people misunderstand based on Steven's way of speaking as well as his appearance. But what he means covers several facts about the Metal Gear games, especially MGS2 and MGS4. To understand the character ywe also have to understand a little about his creator, the screenwriter Etsu Tamari who made a big allusion to The Boss in this character (because he loves The Boss) and that's why he was the only one to come closer to The Boss's dream. The clues for this are in MGS3 and MGS Peacewalker. In the end, in the final song that belongs to Raiden, we realized that he understands Steven, but that there is no other way to end it other than having one last fight.
One aspect that really elevated this is how they pull a bait-and-switch with the Metal Gear and Armstrong's America #1 routine. Only for him to go "Lol, that was a lie" and pull a compete 180. He doesn't need the robot, he can pummel Raiden easily. He doesn't believe in America, he wants to burn it down! And despite Raiden tearing his organization to pieces he is 100% willing to just forgive Raiden instantly. So many people were mentally still trying to catch up to what they were watching and it was glorious.
One detail I LOVE is Armstrong adjusts his glasses constantly. Its a cool detail that is ignored so much. Most game protagonists or villains don't have glasses cause it isn't practical. I like the representation here. Really shows that even if you have poor eyesight, you can still be a badass
11:07 That part where Armstrong tears his shirt off and the nano machines spread across his chest…I can’t be the only one that thinks it’s all super satisfying to watch and listen. The sound of the rubber style crunching and the way it spreads across his chest, it’s just superb
The sound design for the cutscenes hold up extremely well considering how the game is almost 10 years old. The visual fidelity is also outstanding, the game looks realistic but it's also JUST cartoony enough to not fall into the uncanny valley
Never played this game, but I like this exchange. I can actually appreciate some of the principles Armstrong holds, although I disagree with his conclusion. Plus him helping raiden up and dusting him off was a nice touch.
@@billylukito5522 the guy literally took orphans, scooped their brains outs and plugged them into a simulation of what raiden experienced to turn them into killing machines too, he is a cartoon villain
The problem is everything he did before the exchange paints him as a psychopath, the exchange itself only makes him look delusional or in Raiden's words, bat-shit insane, and a huge hypocrite too, he wants to get rid of the weak when hes never experienced true hardship, he subjects others to this hardship believing its for the best, and when raiden points this out, he points at raiden saying hes the living example that his beliefs are correct, yet its clear if given the change raiden wouldve prefered a normal life, this is perhaps also the reason why armstrong finds acceptable to abduct third world children, take their brains outs, and plug them into VR simulations of everything raiden experienced as a child in order to turn them into cyborg killing machines like raiden
I love the fact that hes made into such a cartoony stereotypical rightwing politician you couls almost call him a propaganda piece (down to the balding hair and ciger) and then when you hear him talk and actually articulate his worldview it makes a lot of sense.
@@joseaca1010 its a theme with MSG villians that they're almost tragic villians who have noble goals yet evil actions. 11:42 I love how Armstrong punches Raiden hard enough to send him flying into the stratosphere, just for the next shot to show him falling like 3m away from him
Armstrong is so powerful he realised he got a little too harsh against Raiden so he moved at light speed, caught Raiden and threw him on the floor close to himself. So fast we, the viewers, couldn't see.
8:06 I just love this part. It looks so goofy, with Armstrong's surprise and him dusting off Raiden as if he just fell off his bike or something. But though being a bit goofy, it was a heartfelt moment for Armstrong who thought he finally convinced someone of his (insane) ideals. Great scene.

What makes Armstrong such a great antagonist is that he geniuenly and fully believes he IS doing what is right. He's a man motivated by his dream and has the ambition to see it through. And that is all I will give him, because everything else is-as Raiden says- batshit insane.
Yeah. You can genuinely believe something all you want, it still doesn’t make it justified. ISIS suicide bombers genuinely think they are going to paradise by doing what they do, doesn’t make it any less horrible.
he was indeed right about people fighting for what they believe for, many young men get sent into wars, pointless ones, for the monetary gain of the government, by invading these countries they're doing the government's dirty work, they're sending fresh troops, right into a desert to fight people trying to get the invaders away from their country, they fight for freedom, something they believe in, but the young men in these pointless wars for oil when america can produce enough to hold its own is just bullshit
That is the thing, yeah. It's so hard to hate him, even though he's insane, because he believes, really, in what he says. GPA, son.
I think my favorite part of this whole exchange is when Raiden challenges Armstrong's worldview. "You weren't born poor! You've never been hungry! You don't know what it's like to fight, and steal, and kill _just to survive!"_
And I think my favorite part of this is that Armstrong _doesn't_ refute this! He refuses to victimize himself to "beat" Raiden's childhood upbringing and pretend that he's struggled. He fully understands the difference between Raiden's life and his own, as well as his own rich upbringing. And then, as a counter-argument, shows _respect_ for Raiden's strength.
"But you *did* survive!"
He acknowledges that Raiden did have it worse, and that he's a super badass _because_ of it.

@@jimshotfirst4887 im not saying you didn't say that, i even used the exact wording im just pointing it out again. but this is what im getting at, you kinda miss the part where he still had to survive being a CHILD SOLDIER, a life of constant bloodshed, and eventually becoming a lab rat cyborg, armstrong or raidan for that matter weren't just talking about isolated times, its life in general! greater powers and external factors don't erase that for me, but you may have a fundamentally different view of it all
After all these years, he is coming back in America Showa 😂
I appreciate the effort you put into that. You get a like
And the fact that people are still talking about mgr until this day even 8 fucking years has passed and counting makes it one of the best games of all time. Also as silly and cringy some of the lines are, they're actually really deep and that's what i think makes this game a MASTERPIECE.
His vision of the world also just doesnt work, though his criticism of war as a business is valid. It's not just the means, but the goal is also ethically and logically wrong.
So basically thanos.

@8:57 And Raiden smiles at how stupid Armstrong looked lol
Like he said "I'm not one of those beltway pansies!"
Exactly, I respect him as a character
And he actually tries to get shit done
His ideology was right for the world of MGR, that is after the patriot AI the world is being consumed by war, in entertainment, everyday life and no one knows what they are fighting for except personal profit, and behind it all is an AI trying to steer humanity in its direction.
The reason Raiden killed Armstrong is due to the sick immoral things he did, using and harvesting children, trampling on the innocent, and as he adopts Armstrongs ideology with his own principles of protecting the weak he becomes "Jack The Ripper" and we never got MGR 2 so F

True
Most games from 2008 still hold up today graphically (ex. Sonic Unleashed and this)
The execution of this comment is formidable
average mental age of a twitter user is like five
