Injustice: Gods Among Us was released in 2013 to critical acclaim. It's silky smooth gameplay and deep fighting system make it one of the best fighting games of the last generation. In late 2013 it was released on next gen consoles as the "Ultimate Edition." The package wasn't much different from the base game, other than some additional characters and costumes. There is a noticeable graphical buff, but nothing extreme.
Nonetheless, the story didn't need any additional content to make it amazing. By far one of the best uses of the DC universe in a video game, Injustice has one of the better comic stories in the past decade of video games. There are a couple of pieces of audio that are muted for copyright music, but other than that everything is intact. As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to make one fluid cinematic experience. We hope you enjoy! And if you did, make sure you like, comment and share!

Saddest part is that Shazam saved Clark so many times throughout this series, multiple times he would have been captured if not killed but Billy saved him, and he still gets murdered just like that

and that was the part which is truly baffling. I can't believe that that cold blooded murder did not do anything to wake anyone on their side up. I can understand Wonderwoman not warming up to that, but the rest of the team still working for Superman is actually just insane.
Literally all they have to do is copy the exact script and direction into a live action movie and it would be one of the best super hero movies ever made no question

@@kamuiwarp1784 There's a couple really weird plot points I'd like to see changed like Selina joining the Regime in a not spy role, Deathstroke just sorta dissapearing after his section as well with his "made it personal" just being he was tortured, as well as mixing up what is shown at what times as the need to keep a single character for multiple fights in a row is removed. Other than that a injustice miniseries is actually a really good idea.
Well zack had his own type of injustice storyline where darkseid kills lois and superman bow downs to him leaving cyborg, flash, batman, deathstroke, Harley, joker alive maybe even more people but yeah I liked what zack did.
The two Cyborgs trying to hack each other is a severely underrated scene.
It's my favorite moment in the whole game. Played it blind and as soon as it started I was like "oh yeah, that IS what a fight of Vic vs Vic would actually be like".

The meaning is brilliant: While they both lost their family, the difference is that batman wasn't responsible for his parents dead. But superman was. He was the "Gun" that took his own family away
Yeah because it is a huge difference, especially by Batman’s own standards who isn’t capable of killing a single person because he knew the road it could lead him down. I think this is why Batman has trouble fully empathizing with Clark at first and causes the start of the huge rift between them. Batman knows both Joker and Clark so well that he doesn’t consider for a second that Lois’s murder was Clark’s fault at all. I think he couldn’t even entertain the idea of Clark feeling at fault because Batman deep down would know he might responded this same way and would have trouble fighting against him. Idk if that makes any sense lmao

Aquaman may be super outclassed by the rest of the league, but that just makes his fights more interesting in choreography, considering he can't just go god mode with powers or tech like superman or batman do
They need to make a live action Injustice movie. If they followed this exact script, got good actors, a good director, and poured a ton of money and love into it, it'd instantly be inarguably the best superhero movie ever made and one of the best films in all of human history.

as entertaining as the story is, it truly does kill a lot of the characterizations of the heroes. There's a lot of suspension of disbelief in how the heroes react to things in this story. My number 1 gripe being that Superman would never fall the way he did. He would never have killed The Joker no matter how much he wanted to, just wouldn't have happened. They changed the core essence of Superman to make this story work.

Lantern holding flash back from standing with Billy is exactly one of the reasons Lantern is not trusted nearly as much as Flash going into Injustice 2. Batman was right when he said if the regime was still around he'd still be wearing yellow. Lantern did want to leave the regime, but he was too scared and his yellow lantern abilities run on fear. Without it, he'd just be Hal Jordan again. No lantern at all. He chose to stick with the regime because he'd be powerless otherwise.
Flash on the other hand completely turned on the regime the moment Superman executed a kid right in front of him.

Well, the game is centred around the good Justice League bringing the Regime down, so you can thematically expect that lighter tones will be used. That having been said, there's still a great deal of intrigue and death, just less gruesome and dark compared to the comics, yes.
I kinda liked it because I read Injustice year 1 to 5 before watching this and kinda gives u a sense of relief because there is some hope in this depressing world.
I highly doubt that considering comic books are made for children under 12 years old. Maybe it's dark in your eyes, but not objectively I wouldn't think.

I agree, but it would have helped a great deal if he had gotten his head straight from the first year that Superman decided to lord himself over the Earth and enforce his totalitarian will on the planet. That is my thought. I would like to hear other thoughts.

The aquaman in this game is crazy, he literally defeated shazam, flash, himself and ares in some minutes, holy
Flash hits during that special after accelerating to 29 million miles per hour (3 seconds to circle the globe), or a bit over 4% of the speed of light. I'm not great at force calculations, but if my math is correct, that's equal to about 9.2 megatons of TNT. That's the force of a goddamned nuclear bomb the same size as the ones we dropped on Japan. I'm pretty sure that anyone he hits at that speed should be reduced to a fine, red mist. Except maybe Superman, Black Adam, Wonder Woman, and Shazam.
Edit, one year later: I really need to remember this moment. It's not his greatest speed or striking feat, but it sure puts things in perspective when you realize that this is 4% of light speed, and he can travel at least 10⁶³× the speed of light. Which means he can hit 2.5×10⁶⁴-ish times as hard as a nuclear bomb. That is fucking insane.

Just finished reading the injustice comics. I Would recommend them because it gives this story a lot more context!
