Most of the time I use either sunny, cloudy or find my own temp. I always choose a whitebalance rather than auto when doing video as it’s harder to correct - not impossible but the less you have to do to the footage, the better
For the 'grade', yes. However if you mean the correction LUTs at 4:29, no. These were random correction LUTs that are available across the internet for free. Each one affects the profile slightly differently. As for which was which, I have no idea I'm afraid
For a beginner heading to Croatia that doesn't want to worry too much about exposure, should I just shoot in S-Cinetone? I am doing tons of run and gunning. Can't take a ton of time in each spot to mess with VND filters and worry about exposure all day. I'm worried my SLOG3 footage will come out pretty crap cause of so many things to control. Should I just hit S-Cinetone, get some drone shots, and let it rip from there?
Thanks a lot for the video! Very high quality!
Thank you!
Great ! So what is the ISO we should use with S-Cinetone to get best results? Thank you
Base iso for S-Cinetone is 100 and 2000 iso! Base iso for s-log 3 is 640 and 12800
Great vid. I’m going between the two, but my biggest difficulty is white balance. Do you use custom white balances for both?

Hey Danny Great Video, Did you use your Luts for these shots for S-Cinetone?

Have you tried cine 4? I am liking it over S Cinetone. I think I need to use S Cinetone more though as I was used to the cine 4 profile on my a73
Not on the more recent cameras. It was my go to on my a7iii too, but since moving to the a7siii, a7iv and a7rv i’ve only used s-log3 and s-cinetone
Great video!
Thank you 🤛🏻

Yeah, s-cinetone mate. Expose to what you see on screen, set your zebras to 100+ and anything which is zebra-ed out is blown out. Easy 🤌🏻
i hate pains in the rear end, s cinetone for me, butt saving...plus I have no idea or interest in colour grading..
Good upload this
Thanks 🙌🏻
