Wildlife photographer here in Alaska. The only camera accessories I have are 2 backup drives. One stored off site, the other at our house. At least 2 backups after each photo session is critical! One should be off-site in case of a disaster like flood or fire.

How come sony does not have a simply photo editing software!! I was planning on buying a sony camera because of flexibility on lens. I guess I should stick with Canon!!

After comparing A7IV video footage to A7SIII I'd say A7IV looks better. And low light performance is great and here is why, even though IV has second dual ISO at 3200 (SLog3) and A7SIII has second at (12800), 3200 is better IMHO because first of all, if don't have enough exposure at 3200 ISO on f2.8 lens, you need to add light to the scene anyway. 12800 is an overkill IMHO and is usable in low light for either 4 and higher fstops or slow motion. I have tested A7IV during night in urban situations and ISO3200, f2.8 lens (Tamron 28-75mm g2) and it works fantastic. there is some minor noise in dark places that have little to no light but compared to A7SIII it's more usable. If I use A7SIII on 12800 ISO in similar situations I'm overexposing and getting nothing in return; also A7IV has much much sharper looking image and the details are pure perfection. Even the iso noise looks great and can easily be removed with light noise reduction (davinci resolve) or you can add grain and it will perfectly blend with it. + A7IV can shoot amazing photos and costs half of what A7SIII costs - that's why I got two and getting the third for my podcast setup (replacing the a7iii)

used sigma 16mm f1.4 on crop, after a month, traded with 18-105 f4 instead to shoot videos..with good lighting setup and your video will be great

have any difference of fly using mc3 or rc3 if flying in normal mode and sport mode ? if yes is better go to rc3 ? if not is better stay with mc3?

Throttle rate IS NOT useless. I use it on every cinematic rig and im angry dji does not let you. Ive built over 20 quads and run expo and throttle mid tunes on every quad except 5 inch freestyle quads because those motor sizes are dialed

Which one shall I go for? Btway love your videos man. ( A7cr has pixel binned 4k that is swaying me away from it)

I just watched a different video by another photographer about this lens, same conclusions. The other person had 2 acoustic guitars hanging on his wall. You've got your 2 electric guitars on the floor. I'm a photographer and I've got 2 acoustics and 1 electric sitting here. Seems to be a thing! Great review!

I love this lens, sold my 70-200 for it! Still have a 35/85 1.4 for lowlight. For the wedding photo examples, are you using any mist filter?

Makes me thing that they should do this will all zooms. Without being restricted for example maybe the 16-35mm f/2.8 could be f2-f2.8. I would definitely prefer that!

I'm still deciding on whether to pull the trigger on this one when the pay for my most recent job comes in - I'm thinking of using this for walk and talk interview video podcasts where I'll direct the shots and angles in post. Thought I might get the shoulder strap thing and mount it on their (smaller than 3m) selfie stick. Will need to get over looking a bit like a prat but thought it could be cool. Anything you think I'm overlooking there? Would probably run the video for an hour or so at a time

The sony image quality is sharper and more vibrant, the cannon not so much. You gotta have an eye for it

Got the samyang, returning it. So soft at 150 it's literally all a blurry mess.
