- What's Good Fam! I finally decided to bagged my car 😅. I started to fell out of love with my car and wanted to do something to spark that back up. When I was doing research on how to install the kit on the IS, I did not find much. Most of the video did not show certain details like routing the air lines and etc. I went with Airlift because it was the most common for bags. I wanted to create this video for those of you who would like to try to install and my fellow DIYers. I would like to go full details showing everything but that would make the video really long. Hopefully this video provides enough information for those of you who would want to choose the "Bag Life" 😁.

Thank you, after watching countless videos of bags install, no one tells you to manually put air on the bags before taking it off the jack stands or jack. If you drop it without air, you’ll risk the bag to pop or leak. They’ll show how to install and next it’s already cut to the part where it’s on the floor. Thank you. I’ve been trying to figure out the proper way and not destroy my bag

Hi JLB. I have had bags on 3 of my cars. 0 issues. Everyone I know that has had issues has been due to install errors. Rushing, not taking there time and not making sure fittings are installed correctly and not taping the threads. Take your time, do it right and you will be in love with the air system.

Cons is expensive. If your bag pop it’s harder to get home or fix it. You have to do maintenance so things don’t mess up. If install incorrect can cause lots of headaches…..but most of these is fixable or not too much hassle. Not like coil overs where kind of install and forget it
@@Kanbo11 it’s about a quality install. Most the negatives come from someone doing a half ass install. I been on bags for over 8 years and never once had an issue. And I have personally bagged other cars and they will tell you as well install quality is key. So yes it’s a bit more drain the tank maintenance but the extra step is well worth the peace of mind

Hey question ive been running air suspension for almost a year now, I was wondering what did you ever do with your adaptive suspension wire? I just unplugged it and zip tied it but it threw a check engine light.
I unplugged the plug and tuck the wires to the side lol. I think I wrapped it in electrical tape to make sure water or stuff don’t get in it. Never have a light from it

does the avs system still works or do they throw in error codes on the dash if theyre unplugged ?
AVS doesn’t not work anymore since I have it unplugged. No there’s no code for it.
I’m at 10k miles on my bags. I have a 2017 is350 fsport. What is the difference between 14-16 and the 17+? For the suspension
The only difference is the front strut bottom mounting point. 17+ has a fork style and 14-16 has eyelid style
Did you run the air lines though the spare tire? Or you removed the spare tire?
I put my lines like beside the spare tires through the little rubber holes

I did it myself but materials and equipment and etc probably going to run you like $800ish and up
Yo bro where did you get the Rear spacer thing that they guy didn't uninstall ? It looks like I got the same problem and I need that round black spacer and the bolt that goes with it .
You can get through airlift or bag riders

Felt you when you said you were falling out of love with the car. I got a 2017 f sport slammed on coils, did bagging the car help you fall back in love ? Was gonna try to trade the car in for something else
It did for like a month lol. I think I knew I needed to redo the whole car to love it again…which is hoping soon lol

So I do have an issue I have a is 250 and I got the car already bagged and I’m wondering if the spacer on the rear is missing how does it look mounted
What spacers are you talking about?
@@Kanbo11 it goes on top of the rear bag where it’s a threaded rod
Looks like a hockey puck
If the bags are mounted to the top and doesn’t move then the spacer is probably there to hold it
@@Kanbo11 ok cause the issue I’m having is everytime I go over uneven surface it shifts and starts squeaking then i air out the bag re adjust it then it goes away for a while then comes again and when aired out the top of the bag is swinging back and forth.

It varies depends on new or used but it can go from 2k-4k
