- In this video I explain the major pros and cons to air suspension! These are the ones that have affected me the most and should be most considered in my opinion. I am trying out a new microphone in this video, I’m not sure how I like it yet. The sound quality isn’t as good as my old mic, but this new one is wireless. I’ll probably experiment with with different one. Anyway, thank you for watching. 🙂

Hello! I do mostly keep mine garaged, but we don’t have wild cats around here. I’d love if we did though 😆. You could always get the CF hood PPF’d (Paint Protection Film). That’ll help protect from scratches, and if it gets scratched, it is self healing.

Great video! Is there a way to free up more trunk space? I’m looking into selling my 4runner for a GS and install air lift suspension
@@christopherleal9180 Thank you! And yes. Some people do hanging/ suspended setups, where you use a special bracket to hang everything from the top of the trunk instead.
Also, some people utilize the spare tire compartment and fit their compressors (with a smaller tank) in there.
Both these options would free up trunk space. 🙂

Did you need the spacers with lugs or was there enough thread on original to get enough turns?
@@GEORGIABOY23 Definitely get the ones with studs attached to them. I only recommend using like 3mm spacers on your original studs. Even that could be deemed unsafe.

Was losing your avs worth it. I like with the super down, when you put it in sport+, you can really feel it tighten up. But I want bags… lol
I didn’t have AVS. I have the 200t and only the 350 had AVS. I’d say it’s worth it tho!

Hello! I don’t believe there are any at this moment in time. HC Motion makes an aftermarket taillight, but it’s not a light bar.
Are your mirror caps stick on or full replacement?
I have overlays/ stick-on.

I’m not super car knowledgeable. I know you said you have wheel spacers and I’m looking to bag my ride with same stock wheels. Some people say wheel spacers are no good but others say it’s fine. Are these really problematic and will cause wear? Is there good ones I can get to avoid problems?
Since pretty much every one for the IS is hubcentric and bolts onto your studs, you should be totally fine. You might start to have issues with spacers if they are installed improperly per specification, or if they are extremely wide (like inches wide). But for this case, you’ll be totally fine. 🙂

@@Versuhn Yes! I run 15mm all around while bagged. Some people can run 20mm on the front if they have stock fenders. If you’re not bagged or youre lowered/ stock ride height, then I recommend 20mm all around. Here’s the links for both:

Car looks cool but not worth it at all for this platform. I drove a buddy's 2015 BMW M235i stage 2 on stock suspension-- it's faster, but we all know the IS isn't the fastest car, but the BMW handled way better than my car which is on RSR down springs and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S All Season tires. I always thought the IS handling stood out but after driving the BMW, this platform is just completely lacking in all categories now and there isn't much you can do about it.
$2k to just air out.. idk lol. I would just save it and get a better car at that point
I completely get what your saying and respect your opinion. However, I really love this platform. It would definitely be hard for me to move away from it.
