    Stick around until the end to hear my thoughts on the Model 3 Performance vs. The Model Y Performance. Happy New Year!

    I was deciding between a M3P and an M2Comp. I went for the M3P cause it is a cheaper daily driver. I live in Norway so driving the M2 on salty winter roads is not happening. The Tesla I can drive 365 days per year and not be worried about scratches and gasprices. God bless your youtube channel.

      Agree in your situation the Tesla is better and still fun to drive on mountain passes

    I loved the M3P when I recently test drive it. It is quick for sure.

    heat pump is now being implemented in the 2021 model 3... that was a big factor for my decision. Just thought I'd bring that up. Love your content jeebs!

    The HP was rated at 450 originally, but there have been two updates that Tesla says bumped the power 5% each time, which, if correct, brings the HP to 496.

    Hey Gjeebs, I live 4 miles from Wolf Trap! If I had known you came this far east I would have stopped by to say "Hi"! Been following you since you got your Model Y and looking to get one of my own next Spring!

    At first, I was wondering "where the hell in Arizona is that??" but then I kept watching. 🤣 Also, had the PS4S on my RS. Great tires, excellent tread life for the performance. I enjoyed them more than my Sport Cup 2s. Excellent video as always and Happy New Year! 👌

    The tire monitors in track mode represent the amount of grip each tire is getting, blue is the best it can be, then yellows to bright red when slipping or drifting. I thought it was the tire temperatures as well but after a few drift sessions it became clear how it worked, hope this helped!! Great video!

    The ride is smoother in the stealth since it’s slightly higher (half inch) and comes on 18s. But you sacrifice some handling. And the top speed on the stealth is 140 instead of 162 (which is still plenty imo lol).

    • @Gjeebs
      @Gjeebs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wish the stealth was still offered

    Tesla retail employees dont get any commission either so it’s really no point to have them sell you on it! Which is good for the buying experience! Great video bro! HNY

      Yeah they legit tell you order the car on a computer they have in the store, the employees don’t do anything in the ordering process!

    An awesome car. Love the sporty feel and acceleration of the model 3. Handling and feel of the suspension is great, feels like a proper sports car. Everything else is pretty much else perfect. Love the interior, low maintenance, super low cost to run and technology features. What’s not to like?

    Both are such nice cars. The model Y seems more practical with the increased storage space and ground clearance. The model 3 Performance is so much faster and agile.

    You should review the new 2021 TM3P. Bigger battery, heatpump, new console, new headlights (Europa) and so on :)

    I would love a small Golf-sized hatch from Tesla with the same performance. Trade in my Y in an instant.

    • @Gjeebs
      @Gjeebs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea that would be really cool. I would bet another EV company makes a hatch first though. I don't see it in Tesla's roadmap

    I want a Model 3 performance :( The UK ones come with the new LED headlights. It is suspected they are adaptable matrix but nobody is sure yet as they don't work that way yet.

    Thank you for your always candid and to the point Tesla videos. I just ordered my first Tesla M3P and am anxious to take delivery. Because I am 100 miles away from the nearest Tesla showroom and Service Center, I am aprihensive about driving home, including a ferry ride, in a car I am not totally familiar with. Do you have any experience with Tesla doing home deliveries?

    • @Gjeebs
      @Gjeebs  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have no experience with their home deliveries but I would drive it home! Would be a fun road trip! I have a new performance on order as well

    Did you find the Model 3 seats uncomfortably low or just noticeably lower? That's my one concern moving to one from a crossover.

    • @Gjeebs
      @Gjeebs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They are pretty low but I am used to that type of seating. Seats are so comfortable though

    Thinking about trading in my 2017 M2 for the model 3 performance. Thinking about doing it before my scheduled maintenance and new tires lol. You think its a good idea? Also - do you have any opinions on new vs used model 3?

    • @Gjeebs
      @Gjeebs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For Tesla I say get a new one don't bother with used. The savings aren't there like normal cars because they aren't depreciating as much. And is it a good idea? I don't know haha I love my M2 and it's a totally different driving experience than a Tesla. I think most likely you will never look back and will enjoy it.
