the blade remover is not to take it apart it is to remove the base from the cup if it is on to tight

Love this one, but learned the hard way that I was not adding enough water. I burned my motor up yesterday. I like a very thick smoothie and this appears to be its only draw back. I owned it for almost 2 years before it just died.

Very helpful review. Can this machine be used for a juice fast? Will it be able to break down vegetables such as kale, greens, etc. with a nice liquid consistency?
i admit i didnt read all the previous comments i but wanted u to know its better to tighten the blade before you put it on the motor end because other people have had it fly off. use the black handle gaget. for a a more secure fit to the blade to the cup

So far this NB RX rocks!
I've had it for about a month, not really going by any diet yet but plan to!
I bought it at best buy it was better than any internet deal, they had a online coupon for 20% off and when I went there I opened a credit account that took like 1 minute literally and I have not paid a cent for this yet & I've had it for about a month also zero interest for 18 months.
I did have to returned the first one I had because of the rubber gasket problem which I read about before I bought it. It shredded the gasket pretty good. I am learning why it does this. 2 reasons why I think it does this, 1 over filling the mixing container (it has a max fill line on it) & two not using the tool it comes with to tighten the blade unit down onto the container.
I over filled the current one I have and the gasket just came off it didn't shred thank God, but I did over fill it. You have to pay attention to the over fill line specially if you have heavier foods. I also fill with liquid up to line, I am currently using aloe vera juice & coconut water which is tasteless yet very healthy.
This machine is truly bad ass, it seriously pulverizes the food into a liquid, I've made smoothies in blenders in the past & also used juicers. The blended smoothies gets old quick because there so thick & the juicer you loose all the fiber & they are a messy pain in the butt to use.
This Nutribullet RX pulverizes the food so good its very much liquidy and real easy to drink and actually very tasty. If it's to thick ad more liquid to your mix.
I just throw in what I want & hope it comes out. I ad about 1/4 veggies to 3/4 fruit, sometimes I ad protein & oat meal if I am making it a meal. At least 95% of the drinks I have made have been totally awesome & I am sure if I start using recipes it will be even better.
The soup setting works very well, the soup is seriously hot in 7 minutes. I am still experimenting with this. The few I made came out kind of thick but I just added chicken broth after the blend was done & it was great I also added solid food & some meat & it was even better. There's recipes for soup in the book it comes with which many sound good & I will eventually be trying.
If your like me I was eating real bad, rarely eating fruit & veggies pretty much no fruit and little veggies. I was not really eating half the time & when I did it was burgers, fries, burritos or nothing & occasionally I'd eat some healthy food but not much & on top of it I drink so I knew this is not going in a good direction & I decided to try this NB RX with really no big hopes other than the really good reviews I've been reading for I believe the last year so I didn't jump on board right away.
Now I've been having a drink once a day for pretty much every day since I've had it and I do actually feel better and I am not even close to tired of these drinks there really good & very healthy & super easy to use I mean real easy & clean up is easy as well.
I've been having a egg sandwich with chia seed (suppose to be real healthy & filling) & a Nutribullet fruit (using chia seed in the NB RX will thicken the drink) drink in the morning lately & not only is it filling it is totally awesome I also throw down a few vitamins.
Now I just need to get off my lazy fat but & exercise & try to cut back on the drinking or cut the drinking completely.
All in all, so far this machine rocks, I feel better, I'm getting a lot of nutrition in my body & it is really good tasting & I am sure I haven't scratched the surface of all the other tasty things I can make with this thing.
I never right reviews about anything and many things deserve a good review I'm just to lazy! However I felt compelled to right it on this and look at the length of this review?
Also this is my first Nutribullet ever and as I said I really didn't expect it to be this amazing I had them blended thick smoothies in my mind and this thing is not even close to that, yuck! Just make sure to ad liquid & if you like it cold ad ice!
It's refundable you might have to pay return shipping unless you buy at a local store like I did. Just make sure they have a return policy and if you do buy it at a local store look for a coupon online. I am not sure if best buy still has the 20% off deal but if they do that's a pretty good deal specially with the 18 month interest free deal like I said I have not paid one penny yet.
I give this product a 10 out of 10 for sure!!!
Hopefully it stays this way & if it don't I certainly will be back!
Another difference with the rx is that all the turning material is metal rather than plastic on all the other bullets.

That its not a (blade) remover, it is to tighten the blade (complete part) to the cup. For whenever you need to deep clean the whole set.

I have seen some post complaing about the gasket coming off the blades, I have found that if you do not over tighten, this pretty much solves that issue,,, Great Video BTW

Just ordered this today. My previous $40 blender only lasted about 5 days before it broke, LOL! It actually had a 1 year warranty, but i dont wanna buy in a lot of fruits again, and have my blender stop working so i have to eat the fruit regularly. Im guessing this blender will work a lot better :P
I have a VitaMix and I love it. I bought the Magic bullet for the RV and we never use it because it really doesn't blend too well. My husband bought me the Nutri Ninja for Christmas, and it looks nice but there are a lot of pieces and I just don't need a lot more stuff around the house, plus a lot of the functions it does are things my other appliances already do (Food processor stuff, etc.) So I'd like to purchase the NutriBullet RX for the RV and the sailboat... looks like it takes up a lot less room than my VitaMix. So what was your final opinion of the Nutribullet RX? Worth the money? Good quality?

The product and instruction book and wording and phrases are all made in China, so I do not know how long this is going to last.
It's not the length of time which made it Liquidity it's the amount of water that did it put less water next time and you would have a smoothie texture
Great reveiw! You seem like a pretty cool guy! But I'd love to see a reveiw on this machine with nuts and seeds. Probably more so with seeds. As everytime I blend raspberries the seeds don't get crushed at all

+THE FITNESS RADAR Okay..NOW IT'S OFFICIAL since you said so. Sorry...I was bored and just wanted to point that out. I just bought this from HSN. For $139 plus 15% off. Felt like a typical middle American going through HSN. Protein Isolate for the gym essential. Always wanted to try soup in a blender...I'll be "Kale"ing my intestines off with this thing. Surprised it's not dangerous with instant on...or I got back at 4am in NYC to my apt. and am watching blender reviews to try and sleep. ;) Good stuff...don't mind me. Do what you do. Keep putting out and plethora and a myriad of videos. I gave it a like despite my comments.
The bolt snapped on my first use. I had reservations about that bolt/nut projecting from the blade/housing at the unboxing. It proved to be just the annoyance I had predicted it to be.

Yes. I did.
When we used this the very first time the gasket came out when we rinsed the blade. I called Nutribullet and they said they would send us a new blade as the gasket should not come out. We're lucky the blade did not chew up the gasket.

I love the nutribulletrx except that it is extremely loud, but I can get over that aspect. The other issue I had is the inner rubber ring occasionally gets loose and raps itself around the blade. It still works but melted a ring around the blade. I am concerned that it can't handle frozen items like it states or by luck purchased a defect.
Waited for this review great job, curious to know if it crushes ice better than the old one..

Now that's a useful review. So in terms of a smoother blend.. no difference to the 900 right? Just bigger portions. ; )
I like your honesty. Like you, I prefer the smoothie texture vs. the smoother drink. Isn't there a way you can adjust the timing on the ninja so it won't blend so long?

would u recommend just getting the pro 900 or go for the rx for more power? i certainly wont be making soup but would the pro 900 handle frozen veg? i want a fruit juice in the morning and a vegtable one evening. loved the review radar. awsome
+athlo I would go with the 900, It will get the job done for what you are trying to do and wont take up as much space as the Rx. I use frozen fruit every day and it handles it just fine. There is an amazon link in the description if you want to order safely online.
Is this metal to metal contact? i.e. below the blade at 1:25 is clearly metal...but the base of the blender, is that also metal, where it will connect?
I think my 900 died...I am happy to hear that the cups are bigger. i had the problem with them over flowing.
I believe this model is 1,700 watts, which is more powerful than the other models, including anything Nutri Ninja makes. Maybe thats why is can make soups, like the old Vitamix. I bet it will be great for making an instant breakfast of liquified grains, nuts, and seeds, with dry fruit. Walmart is selling it for about $20 less. I always do a search at Google Shopping before I buy anything.
Looking to buy one what do you prefer the Ninja Auto Iq or the Pro or the Bullet RX let me no please?

I made carrot, strawberry, banana juice. It was good, but some it dripped inside the chopper. Then I made cauliflower, potato, carrot, onion, soup with some evap. milk and 1 pat of butter. I tightened the lid tighter and a small amount still was in the bottom when I took the container off. I don't know what I am doing wrong. The soup and the juice both tasted great. I failed to get the soup to go through the heat up process. It pureed the ingredients and I held the button down for 3 seconds during the first minute but it never turned red. I just heated it up in the microwave. I miss the consistency of a smoothy so I am going to freeze my fruit and lift it off at about 30 seconds next time. I have to say I have had more energy today and felt better than I have in months. Maybe the fact the fruits and vegs are all the way broke down makes it a very efficient food source. It's kind of like premium.
The Nutribullet RX is great but the rubber ring comes off A LOT!! It actually ended up in my smoothie in pieces. Reading the instructions my family also found it hilarious!!! Great revies thanks so much for sharing!!!

Your reviews are well put together. It is because of them, that I decided to buy the Nutribullet Rx from Target. I love it so far and didn't even have to read its included instructions since your videos took care of that. Keep up the good work, I love the machine so far and will use the hell out of it.
Yeah the Ninja has my money. The blade breaking on the Bullet was very disconcerting and dangerous. No resolving issues and their reply was "it's not made for crushing ice" although clearly it's advertised as an excellent ice crusher from several marketers.
I heard the screws and that become loose. 1min is overboard though 15-20 seconds should be enough.
Have you had any problems with it leaking or rusting?

If you buy the nutribullet RX, can you turn it off earlier or does everything come in smooth like a smoothie/juice? What if you blend nuts and dates or so? Can you cut it off before it become green?
You can turn it off by holding the button for a few seconds. You have much more control with a regular Nutribullet though as far as stopping and controlling consistency of the smoothie.
Hey man, nice review on the new nutribullet rx. I have a question though. Even now and then, you'd read about people complaining about the nutribullet rx breaking down for just a month of use. So is yours still working just fine after having it this long?
Thanks! I no longer have the RX only because I really did not need it. I had my NB 600 for over a year and It worked fine. The only problems I had were my doing other than the blade leaking. I have had the 900 for months and have had no problems at all with it.

Hi Nora! How are you now! Got my NB RX and sure does break down seeds! Also if you put things like apples and pears in it, be sure to chop or slice the these fruits to allow the blades to get at the fruit. For me, simply putting whole fruit in their doesn't work even though I'm one who, like with my food processor, I expect the machine to do the work for me. That's why it's supposed to be convenient, right? LOL!
I don't know which book to follow, my nutribullet 900, or should I switch to the RX booklet? I have both the 900 and Rx. I am just so confused which one I should stick by. It seemed I was getting good results from the 900, but the Rx has some good recipes from their new book as well. Should I just fill the 900 cups up with my normal meals and put it into the RX short cup? I have a lot of questions for you. haha.

I thought, that handle is used to screw on and unscrew the blade piece from the mugs, not to dismantle the blade itself.

First day I use my nutribullet rx and it leaked on me. I'm worried I messed the inside? do you know
the rx has built in mechanism to keep spills away from the motor, there is instructions in the guide that tell you what to do.

Perfectly made nutribullet video....now!!! I love watermelon ..it seems like the 1700 watt would be better...cause with watermelon you want to use the green skin...in othewards the whole piece of cut up watermelon....fitness radar please let me know if using watermelon skin and all works with the nutribullet rx....
STATHAM RAGE It broke down a banana peel into liquid so I'm sure watermelon would be no problem. I don't like watermelon so I have never tried it in the NB

Have you tried contacting the company? Here is an inside tip. If you have a bed bath and beyond in your area try to purchase stuff like the RX from them. They have a no hassle return policy. They take stuff back at all times even years later. Costco is similar also as long as it's not computers and phones.
